Michele Keller: Green e county parks department well exceeds expectations at Doling. Located at the very north side of Springfield, tucked behind Kearney street and boasting nature trails, a cave, small lake with ducks, and a large outdoor theatre area, ample parking and well maintained landscaping. The family center is located here and has a fabulous indoor pool, hot tub, and water slide. Great gym, some games like ping pong and air hockey and family showers as well as men's and women's locker rooms with showers that are kept very clean. $10 day pass for non members. (Has been helpful to us while homeless since my husband had a year membership with his Medicare, showers are convenient here)Kid friendly atmosphere l, lots of classes and a daycare is offered. Vending machines.Also used as a WARMING/COOLING center for the homeless during extreme weather. Just a place to sit and access to wifi and bathrooms

His Mom: Gotta love the Outlaws before us. Jesse James and his outlaw bandit's have stayed in the cave at Doling Park. If u have a chance to go inside, make sure it's not wet. Lol 😂 There are restrooms on site that are clean. There is a playground and a walking trail along with a few ponds for the fish and the geese. Walking of dogs is allowed. There are also picnic tables and grills. MAKE IT, JUST A BEAUTIFUL DAY AT THE PARK.
