Jennifer Shelton: Cox EMS ALONE provides an essential service to the community when the fire department stopped and Mercy charged for before finally refusing to do any longer. I am a quadriplegic and when I am trapped in bed with no access to food, water or pills it is Cox who provides lift assist into my chair. When there are no caregivers that can make it on a snowy night, it is them who lift assist into bed so that I don’t get pressure sores sitting in my wheelchair for 48 hours. They are always friendly and professional. God bless you!
Phyllis W: On 1/7, after a call out, one of our residents missed the bus for a Walmart trip. EMS team, James King and Ben Choate, ran by Walmart with her list and returned to her door with the items within minutes! #ActsOfKindness.
Miss Kitty: On Oct 11th 2020 I called 911 and this station responded. They were the friendliest kindest young men you could hope to encounter on what could be your last time on earth. I Thought i was having a heart attack. Turned out I was. They transported me to Cox Hospital were i was taken into heart surgery and a blockage was removed. Cox EMT service provider Cam was the only name i can remember. I wish I could tell him he saved my life.
Destyni Broz: They will be the dept that responds to My rescue if anything were to go down.

Cassi Redmond: Last night I suffered a concussion induced seizure and had to rely on them due to circumstances beyond my control. When they arrived they seemed corigable and such at first then when they transported me to Cox South they rolled me into the ambulance all strapped down like Hannibal Lector and left me alone the whole trip. I have extreme anxiety disorder and claustrophobia and I told the EMT that specifically. There should always be a EMT with a patient at all times. I only gave it one star because I can't give it zero.👎👎
thomas j kelly esq: Very professional, dedicated staff. 🚑 And I thank you very kindly, indeed.

Kat Brandon: It's not one of the top med transaction co in Springfield but they usually get u there in time. Some drivers are better than others and one time i had a bad experience with an odor in the rear of the van that smelled like exhaust. I hadn't noticed it the last time i rode with him but I was in the back longer because we picked up and dropped of 3 passengers on my way home after my appointment, so I was back there much longer that time. Hopefully he fixed it after I told him about it. Vans and drivers are usually clean and nice. The co I have rode with for over 6 years no longer serves Greene county. Sure do miss them.

Larry Beecher: My wife had trouble moving her left leg the ambulance guy said he doubted she was having a stroke which was wrong on his part. Most stroke signs (uneven smile, one arm not raised as high as the other, touching the tip of nose with finger etc) are signs of a stroke in the left side of brain. My wife's stroke was on the right side of the brain causing trouble with moving left leg & walking. Hope these comments will help future stroke victims get to hospital within the 3 hour critical time frame.
ashley davis: I'm not sure who I would need to call or talk to considering theres no number but I had a male ambulance driver come to my mother's house yesterday to help. She couldn't speak, could hardly control her breathing, and was shaking uncontrollably, and he was sweet to her while I was there. But apperantly after I left he started yelling at her to "knock it off" and others things like she could just snap out of it. She might not have been able to talk but she could hear you! Regardless of if you think a person is faking it or anything you DO NOT YELL AT YOUR PATIENT. He is obviously a seniored driver so idk if maybe he's tired of his job, but he needs to find something else to do if he think yelling at people in distress is the way to go. My mom shouldn't have been telling me "the ambulance driver was mean to me" when I arrived at the hospital. He needs to be talked to.
