Joshua Monson: I have been giving flight instruction out of the Springfield Downtown Airport and Springfield Flying Service has always treated me and my clients well. They are friendly and usually prompt. They go out of their way to help us out.

salim rahman: Exceptional quality and service. Everyone is polite, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to be of service. The mechanics are outstanding. I had an issue with my airplane that multiple notable service centers were unable to identify and repair. I then asked Dave and his team to take a look. They found and repaired the problem and I have not had a problem since. I would highly recommend this airport for service and repairs. The new manager is a great addition and has implemented many positive changes to improve the airport. I'm very impressed.

James Carrington: The new manager is completely horrible. If all possible avoid the Springfield downtown airport. After a five minute conversation with the man me and all my friends decided to move our planes to a different airport.

David Peck: The layout is very straightforward and easy to navigate.The TSA employees here are always so nice and pleasant. Overall a nice airport. It's always a good idea to get here at least one hour before boarding starts. I prefer American Airlines when flying out of Springfield. The kiosks are easy to navigate and just way better managed.

jason fuwell: Most of these people are being nice I won't be. If you can get to another airport please do so this place is slow with no regard for any of the passengers. Not only are the slow but rude too. You would think O'Hair would be the bad one being a large airport but I no it's gotta be this place. As I said use another airport not this one

Alecia Mundy: It is a small airport, for example there is only one baggage carousel. On the other hand, they don't usually have people trying to go through security from multiple flights at one time.Also, it is an international airport, it can accommodate large planes.

Julie Long: Flew on American Airlines from Charlotte and landed at 3:17pm. Our luggage wasn’t loaded onto the carousel until 4:10 pm. Unacceptable. It would be much faster to travel to Kansas City’s new airport for a direct flight, not wait an hour to get luggage, then drive back to Springfield. Next time I have to check a bag, that’s exactly what I’m doing if it’s not a direct flight.

Jason Stacy: WOW: this is one of the best airports I’ve ever been through (and I’ve been through a lot)! It’s small but well-designed (the cool antique biplanes were a neat touch); staff is friendly; TSA was super fast. I left my hotel at 5am, got to the airport at 5:10… and was through security and sitting down with a coffee before 5:20. I wish I could do this at IAH!

Zachary Bull: They really need more than six people working at this whole airport. Mesa is the worst airline ever!! Nothing is ever on time, It's a lot of money to spend for this much aggravation.

Andy Gram: Went to Sky Adventures as a new customer and someone who has never been in the cockpit of an aircraft before, so I wasn’t expecting too much. I had Josh as my instructor, who was great. Very knowledgable and he makes everything very easy to understand. However, the reason for this 2 star review is because on their website it shows an hourly rate of $130 at the top end for training and $99 for a Discovery Flight. Well I went in for a Discovery Flight expecting to pay $100 for a half hour or an hour of flight time. Unfortunately, we had some bad weather hit just before we were planning to take off. Josh made the decision to take me up in the air but just for a few minutes so that I could get the experience, which I am grateful for. And it was amazing. But, just 4 minutes later we landed and the amount I owed for the experience was $90! For 4 minutes in the air... I learned a lot but I would have rather saved my $90 in this situation and just paid $130 for a full hour on a better day. $90 for 4 minutes of airtime is excessive. It was a blast and I do plan to return, but I definitely recommend that you get a price total before you commit to anything.

Scott Vande Griend: I received my PPL through Sky Adventures. Josh Monson is a terrific instructor. He is patient and encouraging. He has also assembled a great team of instructors and assistants !

Keith Bellanger: I’m currently a student pilot with SkyAdventures and I have to say it is the best decision I have ever made. I am able to fly and pursue a dream while paying as funds are available so I don’t go into debt. SkyAdventures is an extremely flexible and team based community. The Flight Instructors do a great job at working together to cater to each individual student and provide them with the skills, information, and materials that they need to succeed.

Chad Jensen: Got my PPL with Josh Monson and almost complete with my instrument rating with him as well. I’ve worked with 4 different instructors. He has been my favorite. Just the right amount of tough. I still remember our debrief when he became uncharacteristically firm and assertive after I had a stall horn on my base to final turn. That conversation might have saved my life.
