Woodcraft of St. Louis - Maryland Heights: what do users think?
James Mitchell: Stopped in to look at their stock of Phiel hand tools. They were sticks well. The guys whom work are the store were top notch and knowledgeable. I purchased 4 hand tools and a diamond sharping board. It was my first stop and I’m going back today for more Phiel hand carving tools. Great store.
Brit Brit: This place has everything a Woodworker dreams! They have great customer service! I really enjoyed the classes! I have taken two classes and they were very informative! The instructor was great! I found a new place to do my woodwork shopping!
Harvey Marx: good class
Barb Berger: Friendly although unable to make the repair I needed. Gave me a few suggestions on how I could get my project completed. They also provided more information on wood butter search and alternatives to that expensive request.
Steve Siadek: Staff always helpful.
Michael R: Always a great bunch of people who genuinely want to help serve your needs!
Paul Catterton: Great selection of woodworking tools, wood and helpful staff.
Bryan Wilkinson: These guys continually go out of their way to insure I have the best experience every time I go. 99% of the time there is someone who is knowledgeable there to help me and I am continually surprised and the effort they put forth. This must be a corporate attitude having shopped at 4 different locations for substantial lengths of time at each location. If there are any complaints they need more stock and they need to move their location to Ofallon mo.
Amy Martin: Great friendly staff and so many amazing products! If you think they might have it, chances are they do! Check them out!!!
Christopher “Chris” Shipman: Each time I have been here the staff are great. They aren't hovering over the customers like they think everyone is a thief yet they are readily available and very knowledgeable. There's a lot of great tools and wood to choose from and always a sale to find here. Will definitely be returning
Dan Parish: If you need wood working supplies this is the place.
Alexander Gilbert: Most helpful, knowledgeable, and nicest people work here. They are more than happy to answer any question you have, give you tips, or point you in the right direction. They also have anything and everything a wood worker would need!
William Beiser: Very nice selection of various tools and unique items too. Staff is well informed and very professional as well as helpful. Recommend it to anybody
Craig Dille: Very knowledgeable staff, well stock store.
Michael Ellis: Knowledgeable staff that helped me pick out an excellent saw.
The Dancing Goats Folk Studio: Great Supplies!
Traveling Kat: Helpful personnel - if it isn't on display, they'll open the pkg to ensure it is what you're after, prices comparable to amazon, great selection.
E Kramer: Fantastic. Had what i needed and it was cheaper than any place in the area.
Karen Meister: Lots to choose from...salesman was SO helpful and knowledgeable...answered all my son's questions. We will definitely be going back.
Dave Emke: Great store. Always friendly helpful people there that don't hover over you. They have increased the wood selection which is awesome. Always wish I had more money to spend when I'm there.

Rockler Woodworking and Hardware - Bridgeton (St.Louis): what do users think?
Robert Wolfe: I needed help with a rip cut. The guys are always friendly and helpful. One of them always has an answer or suggestions on how to do whatever I am attempting to do. This time it was Jerry. Great customer service.
Paul Deutsch: This store has the worst customer service possible. First most of the staff are poorly trained and unfamiliar with the products you carry. I was in this store today and was asked by someone behind the register if I needed something, when I told him, his response was, “ya those are over on that wall”. No he did not leave his perch behind the register to help me. When I couldn’t find what I wanted I went back to the register to ask another question, the same person then started to ask questions which quite literally told me he knew nothing about what I was talking about.. enter clerk number two, he started arguing with me about the instruction manual for one of you router jigs. He said “the manual says exactly what to do and I said no it does not. He then went to his trusty computer and looked at the manual and sure enough it didn’t properly explain the operation, to which he said “well I’ll have to mention that to someone. I then asked about some pigment I saw on your website, well this store doesn’t carry this product and know one knew anything about it. I was tired and exasperated so I left and went to Woodcraft. Low and behold I got everything I needed along with expert advice. Bottom line, I’m never going to Rocklers againBye
Roger Schlueter: Very pleasant
Erin Haynes: If you are into woodworking, this is the place for you. Great selection of beautiful wood for accent pieces. Alot of very useful gadgets we didn't know we needed. They offer classes also. We weren't lucky enough to be there when one of those was going on. Holy smokes do they have the machinery. A lot of stuff will be on my husband's Christmas list. Very amazing store with hard to find router bits and other accessories. Glad we made the trip.
LA Jones: These guys truly did bend over backwards and jumped through a dozen flaming hoops for me. It was a difficult warranty claim, and I’m not gonna lie I’m a fairly difficult customer, but these guys Jerry and Ed went way above and beyond the call to help me out. Thanks guys you truly are a class act!
Stoney Meyerhoeffer: Always helpful staff who know their stuff. Clearly a culture of loving woodworking. It makes the shopping experience that much more enjoyable.
Don Robertson: I bought a Bosch router/plunge router set at Rockler for $50 less than at a box store. This enabled me to purchase an extended warranty. But the best thing about Rockler is that their sales people are practicing woodworkers, each with general knowledge but also having a special area of interest. It’s like going to a woodworkers’ club meeting. They are happy to engage in a conversation about the craft and what you are looking to do toward your interest.
Steve Strickland: Chris was a great instructor for the river table class.!
Gary Carmichael: I went to Rockler Woodworking and Hardware to try to replace 22 year old cabinet hardware. I was referred to them by Jehling hardware in Ofallon, Mo. My first trip we identified the original hardware as 1/2 Overlay. This is the designation on the original hardware. The new hardware left a 1/4" gap between the cabinet doors. My 2nd trip I brought my cabinet door as well as the original hardware. I should note that new hardware is designed different from original. Dave helped me tremendously. Doors fit perfectly. Thank you Rockler!
D Rok: Super friendly knowledgeable staff, that kept helping me, even after they knew that they were not gonna be able to sell me anything.
Dan Parish: Always love to look and buy, always parting me and my money.
Patrick Monahan: Great store. Impressive selection of everything you need for woodworking projects and great classes to learn new skills. Workers are also very knowledgeable and helpful with finding what you need.
H Lam: First time shopping at Rockler looking for lumber for a project. Very knowledgeable staff and helpful, good selection of lumber at reasonable prices. Like that it’s sold by the board foot and the person helping me was able to cut the boards to my exact dimensions.
Michael Sutsko: Woodworkings finest!
WegotTheBOMB: Amazing. Helpful. Friendly. Can't say enough good things about this place. Thanks Rockler!
Jay Stephens: Rockler hires people that do woodworking. That itself makes a difference in their ability help, then their willingness ices the cake. It’s always a pleasure to shop this store
Traveling Kat: Beautiful clean and uncluttered store, good prices, wonderful selection, helpful staff
Aleksey Kurashev: Great place with a very knowledgeable staff!
Billy Campbell: UPDATE ON MY PAST REVIEW. Rockler contacted me and we was able to resolve the issue. Thank you
Nicholas Rowe: All there that I needed!
Katherine Edwards: Knowledgeable and helpful staff, clean and organized store
