Gateway 180 Homeless Services: what do users think?
Tilishia Carson: Gateway180 was a life raft for me when I first got there. It was a little Rocky at the beginning, but it all turned out great for me! Through the RRH program, I was able to get housing relatively quickly. The staff was great! Thanks to Gateway180, I'm now in my very own place! So, the experience worked amazing in my opinion. I've learned it's all in what you make it!
Endiaa Dinero: I Really Appreciate The Help I Received Especially From Ms. Kandace I Came In Hopeless And They Gave Me All The Help I Needed And More When They Say Rapid Housing They Really Mean RAPID
Jessica Phillips: This is a really good place to help you get into your own place. They have wonderful stuff workers.
Brynae carter: Gateway 180 has helped me get back on my feet with the rapid rehousing program. They have amazing case managers that help you along the way to help establish stable living. Since being in the program I have learned so much and will be taking it with me on my next journey. Thank you so much for the support and to my amazing case manager.
Adrian Monique: - I was asked to leave with my daughter (I have and extremely strong personality and some couldn't take it)- Everything was sooooo amazing at first until it wasn't.- some of the staff are responsible for 60% of the "mess" between client's.- I feel like l was treated unfairly because BOTH parties should've been asked to leave. (Not just me)- some staff are more concerned about client's bringing in food versus when some client's do drug's/neglect their kid's & stealing.- The food is ALWAYS disgusting UNLESS being catered. (I told the lunch lady her chicken was dry & she said f* me) I hit a nerve... it was still dry though- Some staff have way to much authority especially when they start telling client's (I'll exit you out the program without being reprimanded or made to apologize)I would suggest if you become a client here is to keep your mouth shut.- majority of the staff don't care.- don't make friend's.- don't vent to anyone either. To the two drug user's that plotted against me, KARMA IS REAL 🖤🦋
Big Moon: Nice place
Stanley Johnson: One of the places I support to help others and whoever reads this post do the same in your community help those who have nothing. We are here to help each other.
Nakeyta Boerum: I enjoy the #vibe in Gateway! The fact that they understand the importance of making an individual feel like they are capable of doing better with their lives, that does a great feeling in my life😍
Elisha Scopelite: They are very rude and disrespectful
Nicole Duff: Tried to call too see if they could help. Phone not in service
Beronica Masterson: Completely undervalued ASSET 2 the community. They have snack time and a playground. 3 meals a day. I slept so good.
Mrs. Mica: This place helps single people and couple's that is need of shelter just call 211 united way or have a referral of some sort and your in... You get your own room 🛏️ beds for each family member it's awesome then been on the streets with your kids and all.....
Cari Duarte: As a prior resident at gateway 180 I will say, the experience with RRH has been a blessing. A stepping stone for my kids and I. My caseworker worked rapidly to meet my needs I remain grateful!
Tina Lilly: The food was okay of course it's not going to be as if we we're in our own home so I'm just greatful. The give a warm and safe shelter. They accommodate me with holding my bed with me having to handle important business outside of shelter. They are a great resource for those who are willing to take what they have to offer. Remember this isn't for you to live long term it's a stepping stone and they'll help you as long as your helping yourself in the process. Nothing in life is handed to you, you as a individual have to do your work as well.Thank you Gateway 180 staff I appreciate your helpTina
Cheryl Higgins: It is what it is. It is a shelter near downrltown St. Louis. I didnt see lots of people milling around or causing problems. It seemed pretty chill
M e “MotherOF3”: Very helpful
Brent Punch: Everybody is very friendly an elbow
carliss moran: Accommodatable..great staff
Klee Loader: Well because it's a women and children shelter their are always in need of some help.
Hazel Ruth Bradley: Lead me to better my family
Ashley Robinson: Staff is a little rude

City Hope St. Louis: what do users think?
Leprechan Boss: Great place!!
Nichelle Segar: Luckily, I've never had to use their services but I support what they do. I don't give to panhandlers anymore. I'd rather donate the money here.
Robert McCullough (Charlie): This place provides everything they can to men who are seeking assistance.
timothy rotter: This is one of the best homeless shelters. The staff is very nice. They have food service 3 times a day for residents. They do have kerferws, which is a good thing. Nothing great can come from night time in the city anyways. If you are a male and on the streets, you need to get in this program. The duration is about 90 days though. So work with the St Patrick's center for help with transitional housing, also.
Bernadine Thomas: Nice Employees
Jordi: Do they allow cats?
Creative Spaces: City Hope St.Louis is a wonderful place!

Almost Home: what do users think?
Carmela Mccollum: Couldn't get ahold of anyone
Liyah Smith: I applied here March 2021, when I was 19 with an infant. I didn’t receive any calls or emails and I called multiple times. I got called for 3 interviews. THREE! The second and third time I was told they didn’t see my information, so I said F it. I thought this was supposed to be a place that help young moms in need of housing and safety, but I guess not. Don’t waste your time with these people
Jai Showers: Great place to stay of you really need help to get On your feet. They teach you to cook, clean, budget, and save money. They give you clothes if needed. They give pampers daily for kids still in diapers. They have a family room in the basement to have family time with each other. You have your own private room, Own bed, and own crib for child. I stayed here for 3 month in 2000, I only left because I needed independentcy. I was 17 when I got there and 18 when I left and I was able to sign my own lease. When I left they gave me the money out my savings. Like I said if you need the help go here. I recommend teens and young adults with children.
Sam Schellenberg: Wonderful organization
Amanda Helms: Its a great place! Very resourceful!
Ms. Fowler: HOME CARE
godfrey owens: Almost home was a Great Place at one time. Now they're just a bunch of miserable older women that's just coming to work a paycheck. Instead of focusing on these young ladies future, these ladies always seeking ways to degrade these young ladies. They focus more on evicting these young girls instead of teaching them how to be parents. It's not all bad but it's not what it suppose to be..
Marj Santhuff: It helping young mothers with education and how to care for their child.
delois mccall: This place helps and changes the lives of teen girls by guiding them in the right direction. Great place.
Dana Edwards: I use to live her back in Feb 2007 with my oldest daughter who at the time was only 7months and I was 18. I loved everything about this place. Before I lived here I had nothing.. I gained everything plus some more. I learned to be a better parent and an even Greater woman.. thank you to all the staff members of Almost Home.. thank you to the house parents who where my parents when I didnt have one! I wish you guys nothing but growth and blessings!
Samantha Pyle: I lived at almost home for almost a year. My kids and I had a lot of support from the staff & I got a lot accomplished with my life. If you are ready to get your life together for yourself and your kid(s) this is a great opportunity for young mothers that need that push in life. They will help you get on the right track with tons of support! Love ya ms Rhonda 😉
Jerriana Taylor: I Have Been With Almost Home For Two Years Now I Can Say That I Havent Had Any Major Problems With Any Of The Girls. Almost Is A Good Program But Honestly It Could Be Better!!!!!! The Staff Are Nice But They Are Never Consistent. Everytime I Go In Almost Home I Constantly See New Employees. This Is Not Such A Good Look For The Program At All !!!! Also I Feel Like We Should Have Real Security On The Apartments Considering The Fact That So Many Cars Have Been Broken Into Within The Past Month. The Matainence Could Be Better As Well....These Are My Opinions And Honest Ones ! Almost Home Does A Really Good Job With Resources As Well:) I Just Want To Thank Everyone At Almost Home You Guys Have Really Been A True Blessing To Me And My Son❤️
Juiicy Pipes: I loved Almost Home. They were a stepping stone to adult life. They gave me and my 2 year old a place to live when we wasn’t wanted anywhere else. They made me feel more like an adult. We had to pay rent, chores, classes and they made sure we were either enrolled in school or had a job. We ate together to show our kids that dinner time is family time. I matured in so many ways I was in my own apartment in less than 2 months but then I was abused by my then boyfriend and I was back homeless again. But I contacted Ms Rhonda and she let me know I qualified to stay in the Apartments across the street from Almost Home. I now have two kids and we absolutely love our home and is blessed and grateful for all opportunities Almost Home gave us.
Catrina B: wow they were not like these two reviews at all. i just didn't like the mandatory early time schedule. We cooked on a schedule for ourselves and had all new donations or was allowed allotted monies to do so. Even though I was put out, It was for the reason above. They could let people stay out longer especially on weekends overnights.
Ebony Gulley: Almost home was a horrible experience ,,My God the staff was rude noone was really helpful , The cooks were horrible ,,they didn't give out enough they were very selfish with the food,,I felt hopeless there ,, The treated us like we were in jail, we barely got air.. I HATE THIS PLACE!!!!! And they had the nerve to give out dirty baby clothes smdh....

St Peter & Paul Shelter: what do users think?
Michael Williams: For now... Not 4Eva!!
Nicole Nelson: The best shelter I have ever volunteered at!!! The workers take passion in what they do and care about the unhoused
Michael Doskocil: You have me refuge when no one else would. You fed me, gave me a place to sleep, a d so much more. This Hindu will forever be grateful. May the gods bless you and the work you do.
Derrick Ibe-Williams (D): Nice place after being homeless.
Crystal Ybarra: These ppl have ran me in circles trying to get someone in their shelter. Literally I’ve done everything they have said and called them after just so they can tell me I have to call someone else. Thanks to them this man will be on the street tonight bc I can’t keep housing him. Good job
Kevin Brown: NICE PLACE
Charlie Resident: This establishment is amazing they show love and compassion for every person that walks through their doors. A very special thanks to Shawn, Larry, Tom, and every single person that takes time out of their lives to serve the suffering souls of the south side. When I was hungry and lost they put food in my belly and pointed my feet in the right direction. Angels do walk among us , and some of them can be found here.
Sean Healey: I am grateful for their help!
Centreis Brown: Loved it .
Katie Whitworth: Great shelter for the community.
David White: It only allows you too stay, but really don't assist in helping the homeless with transitional housing, or employment.
BJ Sanchez: THIS PLACE IS OKAY IF IS ALL YOUR GOING TO DO IS SLEEP HERE. DONT COUNT ON GETTING VERY MUCH HELP FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL
Joseph Taylor: Aww
