33 Wine Shop & Bar: what do users think?
Anthony Munns: Here for a wine class on Alsace wines. The proprietor is also a sommelier. Detailed, informative, and a broad selection of wines to sample - 9 different ones! Place is loud when full but eclectic crowd, great conversations.
Tayler Bertelsman: I came in needing a bottle of wine for a gift. James was super helpful in finding me the perfect bottle of wine in my price range! I was honestly a little jealous of the selection and almost left buying two bottles - one for a gift and one for me.I look forward to coming back for Tuesday wine tastings.Edit: I kept coming back and each time was as great as my first visit. They have a wonderful charcuterie board available (expect on Tuesdays) and one of the best patios in the area.
Katy Kindel: Quickest liquor store in town you are in and out they have It down to a science. Good prices also
Annie Lehrer: Best wine bar in the city. Full stop
George Kriegshauser: Great spot for a good bottle of wine for home or to enjoy on site.
r bond: Truly the best Wine Shop & Bar I've ever experienced. The selection and quality of the wines are amazing. James and Jessica provide excellent, friendly service and their knowledge is unmatched.
Sophie Zavaglia: Amazing wine bar. Excellent selection, friendly and helpful staff. Great patio.
Sinem Altunbas: I love this place!
Sarah Jensen: That place where everybody knows your name!? And choice of wine or beer? It is here. James and Jessica are all knowing of taste and preference. And are the best hosts around.I have moved from the area, half hour away, and I still am a regular. Because why wouldn’t I? They are the best wine shop in town.
Ed Mantia: Wine tasting comfortable feeling to the place.
Jamie Andrews: Great staff and great wine
Damon Parker: Best wine bar in St Louis. Staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you have.
Alex Trout: Wow! First time visiting. Staff is superb, knowledgeable, and friendly.Great selection of wines (500+ and reasonable prices.Highly recommend for tasting or to purchase a bottle.
Mindy Resnick: This place is always lovely, and then staff are incredibly patient and friendly.
Kristen Martinez: Outside patio with a fire pit.
d schultz: Great whiskey and wine gem of St. LOUIS. Highly recommend. Very knowledgeable staff and owner. Love the recommendations.. Thank you.
Jeremy Limones: This is a great wine bar. Five stars for great customer service. Very clean and has a relaxing patio. One visit here and you find out why it's the best wine bar in St. Louis.
Alice M Williams: Great wines and a low key friendly atmosphere.
Megan Muehling: Great wine selection. The staff AND customers were so friendly, making it very easy to strike up a conversation with anyone. You can tell that this place has regular customers which is a great indicator of the service and selection. Good ambiance and clean establishment.
Cynthia J. McGriff: Great selection of beer. Food was good at great prices. Best place to chill with your friend.
Elizabeth King: This is a great place to have a few glasses of wine with good friends. They have great selections for pours by the glass and a long list of bottles. When it’s chilly, the front room is super cozy for conversation and when the weather is nice, the back patio is great!

Scarlett's Wine Bar: what do users think?
Tina Yaeger: Adam made our experience so great! We called, he answered, so friendly and helpful, great dining experience, charcuterie board was great! And we got pizzas to go! Drinks were on point! For tourist this place was the best we found in St.Louis
Eric Buzard: Nice place, good wine and food
Olivia Partlow: I expected more. I'll go back again because I really want to like this place. The ambiance is great. The food is lacking. I did love the dessert though. Maybe next time I'll just get wine and dessert!
D.M Ward: Cute, lovable place, great food! Attentive and helpful staff. Will definitely recommend and will definitely go back! See ya soon!
Deep Chatterjee: We lived in Central West End for almost three years, but visited this only once before leaving. We sat inside but would recommend outside if it's warmer. The food and drinks are really good, the vibe is amazing. I had the Moroccan pizza and will recommend it. It is enough for two people. Cocktails are good too, I had the amour, which was refreshing after spending the day packing and preparing for our move to the East Coast. We walked, but there is free street parking.
Paula Figueroa: I just love this place
A B: I'd bring someone here to impress them. Only fault was the music was loud and didn't match the vibe
Andy Spears: Nice wine list and food
bronwyn miller: I love scarlett’s! the atmosphere is so good and welcoming, and the staff are always friendly. I’ve had more cocktails than wine here, but I’ve enjoyed both, and their food is good too! i love the crab cakes
donald maas: Killer cocktail bar great service?
P B: Happy hour white wine was above expectations. The place was a bit understaffed (who isn't these days) at 4 for the amount of people they had sitting but by 5pm they were up in numbers and circulating better. The staff was super nice, the drinks and food are delicious. I travel to this area for work from out of state and I stop by whenever I get the chance.
Stephanie Bauer: Walked over for. Drink with group of people from work. Close to hospitals! Unfortunately not enough staff and no propane for outside drinks even though 50 degrees lost a 8 person party.
Tuxedo Park B&B: Lovely place to meet up with friends. Great wine list!
Carol Morgan: My first time there will definitely go back. Great atmosphere and staff!
Elizabeth Laske: Great wine and a cozy atmosphere. Perfect for a romantic date or catching up with friends. The Brussels sprouts app was phenomenal!
nicole a: Great wine selection. Their prosciutto/pear pizza is delicious.
joel wood: Cheese plate was phenomenal, it's pronounced "yeah-toast"So worth it, and Adam is a great waiter. Will be going back very soon..
plaay maail: nice and cozy
Gustav Benson: Great food, drinks, service, and atmosphere
Samira Ak0k0: nice, cozy spot...food was okay...wine selection is impressive...gold rush cocktail is worth trying
Wade Olson: Could be a really nice place if it wasn't bending over backwards to be so ridiculously " woke". Isabelle was sweet , tho.

Sasha's Wine Bar: what do users think?
BA Wolf: Four of us enjoyed a midweek lunch. All entrees were shared with relish - pizza, paninis, chopped salad, and wine. Eco-friendly carryout containers. Friendly, knowledgeable staff AND convenient parking.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Delaney Swann: This wine bar was bumping on a monday! Great atmosphere and amazing wine selection. The service seemed a little slammed but still super kind and helpful. They played good music and it just seemed like a fantastic neighborhood spot.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Joh Boh: Management runs a parasitic skimming scam on staff gratuity, patrons, overpay, and are underserved, unwittingly participate.
Maddie Michael: Had a lovely evening at Sasha’s with friends. Great wine selection, delicious crepes, and wonderful service from the newest member of the Sasha’s team, Carsen!
Alan Williams: Innovative, high energy, and welcoming service from Zach Oyster. A perfect Saturday afternoon at Sasha's in DeMun!
Wanda Evans: Small food menu, large wine selection. Surprisingly busy for a Thursday.
Fz Benbati: Bad food quality. Poor service. You have to waive and ask again and again for a simple water refill. Very salty pesto pizza and when we ask for a different one(no way you can eat that pizza unless you want a heart attack that day), the waitress says ‘’oh they are many salty items on this pizza’’. Olives are so not supposed to be very salty, feta cheese is not salty and pesto isn’t either so I don’t see how you want to act like you know in food and criticize my opinion about very salty pizza with ur incompetence in food tasting. Not coming back.
Hunter Knight: GREAT atmosphere. The service staff is horrible, but I think it probably just because they are short staffed. I get that. But the food and location make it worth it. Just go in and be ready to wait and be ignored. As long as you are not in a hurry and have good friends to talk to, you will have a wonderful night.
Jacqueline McCall: Enjoyed the crabcakes, hummus plate and spinach artichoke dip . Love the new rooftop!! Can't wait to go back on a nice day. They also have live music.
Matt Alvino: All my experiences here have just been mediocre. It should be cool. It's in a cool area, it's near a college, has a nice patio and rooftop, but it just never meets expectations. On our most recent visit the service was pretty rough. Server said he would be right back to get our drink order and then disappeared for 10 minutes. There were like 2 other tables with people in the whole place... We got our first round alright, but then had a struggle getting our second. My wife had to ask for her drink a couple times, after someone else with us got there's. And another guy with us never got his drink at all...I also may be aging out, but the music was way too loud for a bar with 10ish people in it. I was a little surprised how dead it was being a Thursday night, but whatever.Because of how dead it was, we did get rockstar parking right in front. If it were to get busy in this area parking can be more of a challenge.
Tammy caffery: Atmosphere is great. Food a bit over process for what you get
Dorothy Malone: Great atmosphere
Kara P: Knowledgeable staff, great selection!
Evan Garber: never wrote a google review before but my experience at this resturant was that awful. was really looking forward to coming here with my partner. seated quickly, no issues there.firstly, the service. it became very clear to us quickly that we didn’t have a server assigned to us. in a servers place were two fratty dudes who were loud and boarish. they did not communicate with each other and we had to flag them down multiple times to place orders for our food. additionally, they asked us throughout the course of our meal 3x times if we wanted to get a drink in addition to our waters. ask us once, and if we say no, that’s your answer. they even said once after we said no “are you sure? you’re at a wine bar”. my partner and i dont drink and wanted to enjoy a nice meal. they didn’t refill our water a single time throughout the meal. i didn’t leave a tip for the first time in my life, because we truly did not have a server.next, the food. we got a horrendously overpriced and tiny cheese plate to start. i got the tenderloin as my entree, and it was additionally overpriced, bland, and a tiny portion. they did not include the mushrooms as listed on the menu. my partner got the crab cakes which were—you guessed it—tiny and overpriced. none of the food items were even close to worth it after dropping nearly $100, and we left hungry.i really wanted to like this place, but it was awful.
Dan Miles: We had wine and appetizers this evening, and the service was awful. Sat at the bar and there were plenty of staff members. Bartenders would walk by rarely checking if we needed more wine when our glasses were empty. At the end of the evening we asked for a check and it took 20 minutes to get only after asking a second time from another server. Again, there were plenty of bartenders, walking by and completely ignoring us. Our empty plates sat in front of us for at least 40 minutes after finishing our food and we’re never picked up. May be an off night, but this place won’t be on my list to return to anytime soon.
Mark Lo: Great experience a sunny day!
Chris Dornfeld: Hands down the best place to grab a glass of wine and catch up with a friend. Food is excellent. Great wine and beer selection. Cocktails are awesome. Especially nice on a summer evening as they added a rooftop patio during the pandemic. I would give Sasha’s 6 stars if I could.
Loren Farmer: Nice patio...friendly staff
Haven Peters: My husband and I were excited to check out Sashas for the first time since we heard good things. The vibe was cool and drinks were fine. However the food was not. We got the Bruschetta first which was honestly probably the best out of everything we got. Then my husband wanted to try the goat cheese dip.. It was ok. For our dinner we decided to split the steak and crab and asparagus salad. The steak had no flavor, along with the potatoes it came with and the salad looked like a child had made it (and was not very good). I couldn't believe the salad was $21... absolutely overpriced for what you get.Overall VERY disappointed in the food. We will not be returning.
Bart Karnowski: Tried to have a lunch on a Friday before my wedding, and the Staff (after poor online communication from management) advised they would charge a minimum of $50 per person, without emailing a copy of the menu, even the young children of the group, with no exceptions. When I was there in person to discuss this arrangement, the bartender was dismissive and seemed distracted, even though there was almost no one else to serve. This begs one to question why a business would turn away guaranteed revenue. We are taking approximately a thousand dollars of business to another place merely a block away, who happily accepted our plan and showed us a menu and possible table layout. We have 100 guests staying in town at a nearby hotel and will be sure to guide their money and business to other establishments as well.
HAIR JUNKIE STL LLC Brandi Varner (박 혜영): I have been going there for years but first time discovering the rooftop dining and bar area.Much better ambience on the rooftop on a nice sunny day!Food and wine always great!

Pagan Wine Bar: what do users think?
Michael Strong: Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. Oh, yum.Vegetarian options: No meat in the drinks. Some were not vegan though because of honey or milk or something. LolKid-friendliness: It's a bar. It's called, The Pagan Wine Bar. If you don't know whether or not this be kids friendly; you just get to guess and we will all see where this goes; mkay?Fine print, (expletive deleted) no. It's not for your (insult deleted) children.
Miles Larson: Best late night drinks in CWE. Great Sazerac.
Ctina M: Love the atmosphere and vibe. Great craft cocktails. Fair warning, it's a small place so it might be packed if you don't come early!
Chris Miller: What a unique spot. Limited seating but be prepared for a perfect Manhattan from Eddie! I would go back again to see what other concoctions come from behind the bar.
Casey Peetz: Excellent vibes. Great cocktails and wine list
Jonathan Peterson: The guys here were so nice and incredibly helpful. I definitely recommend coming here for one of their unique cocktails and positive vibes
Elizabeth Bumb: Ed (the owner) has created such a unique St. Louis experience. He is an expert at his craft and takes pride in his work. Can’t wait to come back again soon.
Scott Howze: Pagen is a wonderful bar in the CWE. Fantastic drinks and a laid back chill environment. The owner makes the best Manhattan in St. Louis. The music is always great.
Sarah Mitchell: I cannot describe in words how good these cocktails are. My partner and I shared 3 (Pagan Martini, Green Dragon, and Queen Bee) and each were completely unique and beautiful in composition. You can tell the owner invests in the best of everything and put a lot of thought into the menu and setting. From the intimate setting to the music I will be coming back for a long time🖤 by far my favorite cocktail spot in St Louis.
Wendy Spilker: I love this place. Chill vibe, great lighting, music you can talk over but adds to the ambiance. Fabulously crafted and creative cocktails. Bartender is masterful. Intimate & cozy, best for small groups (2-4). This is one of my favorite places for a drink in all of St. Louis.
Richard Andrade: Best cocktails I've ever had, the I Claudius is a standout winner for me. Friendly staff, very intimate setting and a cool vibe. The best.
Taylor Bowen: When I walked in, they were playing Theivery Corporation super cute, all around very chill vibe with the sweetest guys behind the bar! Carefully curated cocktails. Very impressive.
Vanessa Bell: This place is amazing. Ambiance is perfect drinks are fantastic and bar tenders are very knowledgeable
Andy Feliciotti: Just a fun time, what more can I say. Mainly had cocktails and each was better than the last. The bartenders Phil and Elliot were also entertaining to chat with at the bar. I was expecting a wine bar vibe from the name but I would consider it more of a dive bar, which is exactly what I was looking for. Try the green dragon!
Zyi Li: Great place, drinks, people and vibes. A must go to check out bar!
Chris Dornfeld: If your looking for a cozy but quite original place to grab a thoughtfully crafted cocktail the Pagan Wine Bar is the place to go. The right balance of artisanal without sacrificing deliciousness. Worth a visit! 🍸🍹🍺
Shannan Greenberg: Absolutely amazing cocktails! Atmosphere is chill, Ed and Phil are beyond fantastic! But those cocktails.. being in from Houston, this place does not disappoint and will absolutely be on my top 3 when I return.
Annette Bridges: This is the best kept secret in town. Small, intimate, and atmospheric. It is not for the chicken wing sports bar crowd. Perfect for romantic dates and quiet conversation. While you are there, try the spectacular Green Dragon.
Mary Kate Stewart: Get there early or you won’t get in. Cool vibes, creative drinks.
Andrew Clemons: Best craft cocktails in the city.
Sailem Fromhell: Not the kind of person to leave reviews but I genuinely loved this place so much. This is my hidden secret EVERYTIME I visit town. Went there a few months ago on a date. Loved the intimate vibes and the sexy atmosphere!I’ve had many cocktails.. but I swear by it- no matter what you order, they are delicious! The owner really cares about his craft and pays attention to every detail. If you wanna impress your date, a friend, or have a low key night on the town and go solo.. GO HERE!

Vino STL: what do users think?
Ivan P: The bartender was hitting on the girl I was with. Pathetic
Kiona Elliott: Had a wonderful graduation party at Vino. The drinks were delicious and the staff was incredible!
Giancarlo Andreoli: Posto carino, personale cordiale e piacevole, cocktail perfetti
Louanne Hood: Loved the interior! So cozy and has almost coffee shop vibes. My drink was delicious too and they had so many options. The dog running around was fun too!
Sabrina DeVos: We stayed at the bnb across the street, and stopped in for what we thought was going to be the first stop of the night. We had such a great time, we stayed instead of moving on. Sasha, the bartender, made excellent cocktails; we have had plenty of upscale cocktails (which from other places usually suck), but we were blown away at the craftsmanship of his drinks. I had The Rachel, Hot Girl Summer (his recommendation), and the espresso martini (also his recommendation). They were hands down the best drinks I've ever had, and the Old Fashioned and Paper Airplane my husband got were the best he's ever had as well. Sasha was attentive and personable, and we had a great time.
Faybra Jabulani: Nice selection. I wished there were snacks or tapas though.
Haley Strohschein: decent wine selection and a chill vibe (though the seating is a little weird and seems intended for larger parties), but the bartender seemed more interested in chatting up what i presume were regulars and/or friends. wasn't acknowledged till we sat directly in front of them and stared until we could ask where the menu was. an okay time, but i probably wouldn't go back unless already in the area. also a note for the hungry: no food except on weekends at the moment.
Stephanie Endsley: Attentive Service. Stiff Drinks. Relaxed Atmosphere. 🥂
Olivia Faith: A great place to stop by for a glass or two. they have a good selection and have always been welcoming to my entry level wine knowledge
Amy Loyet: I met a friend here for a bottle of wine on a Thursday night. We drank a bottle recommended by the bartender and it was delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and the background music was loud enough to hear but not too loud for good conversation. Highly recommend.
James Race: Cozy place ok wine selection
Daniel Passer: Edit: On October 25, 2022, the bar manager, Sasha, burst through the doors several minutes before closing and was obviously wasted. He was slurring, stumbling, yelling, and throwing objects and slamming chairs. I have almost the entire altercation captured on audiotape for anyone who wishes to see the truth for themselves. The only people at the bar during this time were myself and the closing bartender. I did not call the police at the time (huge mistake) because the closing bartender begged me through tears not to but, I legitimately feared for the safety of myself and them. The owner, Alex, is aware that this happens on a semi-frequent basis and not only fails to do anything but, seems to tacitly support this behavior. The other bartenders and the neighborhood cult following of local alcoholics will bend over backwards to protect this scumbag so don’t even bother taking it up with them if you ever find yourself in this situation. For the safety of yourselves and your family, I would avoid supporting this business. There are many other good options around the neighborhood such as BBQ Saloon, Brennans, UpDown, Blue Strawberry, and Scarlett’s Wine Bar to name a few. The criminal element is alive and well in Saint Louis, even in so-called ‘upscale neighborhoods’.On a separate day from the above incident, I was asked to leave the establishment by the owner because ‘alleged unnamed peoples’ felt unsafe in my mere presence despite the fact that I literally kept to myself and ordered one glass of red wine (which I was technically not even allowed to finish but did anyway before they could do anything about it because if I paid for it, I’m drinking it). That’s what happens when you try to give people a second chance here. Just the regular quality service that Saint Louis is known for I suppose.
Treasa Bane: Outstanding staff and drink recommendations! New favorite place.
St. John Mom: Ladies, don't sleep on Vino for a moms night out! The perfect place to dress it up or down. Sit in a living room setting that isn't your living room (no kids toys, unfolded laundry, disheveled bookshelves, etc). Beer, wine, cocktails, n/a drinks – something for everyone. Drinks can take some time when it's busy because there are just a few bartenders. My interactions with them have always been positive. I've been 3 times in the past few months and have yet to find a reason to stop!
Sokny Chorn: nice
Kathy Cason: amazing product
Alex Besmer: Such a strange experience here. My friends and I had been here just a week ago until 1am. We know the bar closes relatively late so we decided to go back. We got there around 10PM and it was buzzing. My buddy asked for some drink, I forget the name, and put in an order for a few more friends. 30 minutes later, the bartender tells him he’ll have to wait another 20 minutes and that they can’t get to his drink. He was told if he wanted to get a drink, he would have to choose beer or wine. Then, at 11:30 we start hearing “Closing Time” being played and being told to put in final call. A week ago, we were being served way later. My buddy was closing his tab and asked for another drink… rejected. As he’s closing out his tab, we see people across the bar being served drinks. The people were still selling bottles of wine, but wouldn’t serve individual drinks. Business is business, I get it, but doesn’t feel great getting the short end of the stick.
plaay maail: love this spot...
Shane Metzger: Excellent service and amazing drinks
Those Dewald Guys REALTORS®: Great & chill atmosphere! Amazing barkeepers, super personable. Celebrated my birthday evening & anniversary there :-) Love this place
Lee Russell: First of all, the outside of this place is not marked with its name, or if it is, I couldn't see it. So, when my uber dropped me off I wasn't sure I was in the right place. The staff was indifferent yet friendly. Happy hour prices were good, though. Not sure I'd go again.

Leah Koch: I love this place and come here often. Only weird thing- the last time I went with a friend, it was just the two of us girls in the restaurant. It was so quiet- no music. The bartender just stared at us and laughed at our jokes throughout. Very weird experience feeling like someone was listening in the whole time.
HockeyXC31: A great place to visit! My wife and I love stopping in for a glass, flight, or bottle(s). Great small-plate food options as well.

Kate Kingma Lee: My husband & I have been coming here since they opened a few years ago. I feel so lucky that we have such a gem so close to us. Ashley & Brian have become good friends. I can’t say enough good things about the food & wine here. You should definitely stop in!

Robin Lauer: Personalized service. Great selection of wines, some of which are hard to find. Something for everyone even if you don't know anything about wine, they are pleased to help you.
Shannon Behnen: Awesome wine, spirits, beer! Definitely a go to shop in this area! The owners are the sweetest people.

Cindy La: I had always walked *through* this place to get to the chocolate bar upstairs, but I'm really glad we had dinner here! The drinks, food, service, and ambience were perfect for a date night.
Brianna Doyle: Such a cute vibe. Great to grab drinks with friends or a cozy date
Solo Travel Girl: The bartender at pop gave such a fake unwelcoming vibe. She kept making ignorant gestures at the waitress regards to my friend and I because we were debating on getting food with our four wine glasses we purchased. My friend told her she looked nice and she said “oh okay” way to take a compliment. I hate to say she was a racist white woman but definitely did not feel welcome even after I told her I’m a content creator and wanted footage for my tiktok to bring a crowd because I support food all over St. Louis you’d think she’d be more nicer. The food was not it for $30. Definitely worth $16 it was more like a snack it was a tiny charcuterie board and the menu is slim to none. The only upside in this place is that it has nice aesthetic look and wine of course. I spent $86 on attitude and bland food with wine I can get any where yay me! I give this place 6/10. (Btw this was at Pop down stairs we did not go upstairs at Baileys so I can not rate that section)
Melissa Slemp: My friend and I had a wonderful time at Pop on Friday. We were there celebrating my birthday and the staff made sure that it was a fun celebration. Our server was so sweet and knowledgeable- she has great recommendations. The champagne flight was fun and reasonably priced, and the food was delicious as well. We chose to sit outdoors and had a great view of the cutest garden area. Will be back!
Valencia Miller: Although in the past I have been a huge fan of the Chocolaté Bar (located above Pop) it was closed due to construction so I tried Pop. First glance I assumed it was only a champagne bar but This ses not true….at this point I have been now two days in a row And come back for the most perfectly seared scallops with bacon jam and a side of ricotta and zucchini that was amazing!!! Jenna the Maître de was excellent in her recommendations and the manager also recommended wonderful drinks that normally I would not order due to not being a huge bubbly fan hands down a lovely and high end Lafayette Square experience ambience and as a self professed foodie I will be back again and again.
Sweta Bhoopatiraju: I had never been to POP before, but I really enjoyed my first experience there. It was very clean/neat, and the ambience was great- comfortable but something new and special. Jenna was a great in helping me select a drink based on how I was feeling and new a lot about the drinks Pop offers. She also gave me awesome company throughout my time there. Even when others showed up and she tended to and conversed with them, I didn’t feel neglected. She made the experience unique and special for sure. Thanks, Jenna! You’re awesome!
Gina Gill: This was an odd experience. We went in with a reservation and a women who seemed to be a manager started helping us. She had zero knowledge of the champagne and couldn’t pronounce anything. When we asked about years etc she has no idea, left to ask, and would come back saying things weren’t in stock then saying they changed the menu that day. She also was very strange when we asked if any of the chocolate bar items would be on the menu like before. We almost got up and left based on her odd behavior. Luckily Alexa swooped in and gave us amazing customer service and made us want to stay. Alexa made us feel like welcome customers genuinely saved the whole experience.
Anna Zhyvotovska: Small plates and cocktails are very good. I didn't like the service. But overall a good place for date night
Laura: It’s a really cute place but the service was horrible, it’s expensive with a very limited food menu and the food was kind of odd - I chose not to eat because it was such a weird menu and my friends said it wasn’t very good. I also only spent $12 and had to pay for a fifth of the 200 and something dollar check because the waiter refused to split it.
Jamie Kokay: Giving 3 stars only because the chef delivered (food was great!) and the decor/atmosphere was adorable… the staff was also very friendly when we did interact with them. However, we were the only people in the whole place when we arrived and service was SO SLOW! We had to get up from our table and request our first round of drinks from the bartender because they sat us and no one came to take our order. After our first round, I definitely had sat at the table with an empty glass for quite some time waiting for someone to take our next drink order while the 3 employees working walked around the empty restaurant appearing to be busy but there just wasn’t anyone else there so it was a very confusing experience. I even asked the bartender if there was a patio somewhere out of sight because I couldn’t believe that we were the only people in such a small place and getting such a lack of attention. I was told that there was in fact a patio but it wasn’t open for the season yet - so still no explanation I could find for the lack of service. A second table eventually walked in and sat down near us but they ended up walking out because no one took their drink order after being seated either. Very unusual for such a small place with 3 people working and only 2 or 3 tables total! I would say the staff should definitely work on their attentiveness to tables a bit. Lot’s of potential but didn’t deliver a great experience for me. I wouldn’t be excited to go back and spend $100 again. Overall, extremely disappointing as we were there specifically to “pop” champagne and celebrate (which I noted in the reservation) but instead we felt ignored and like a burden to the staff.
Ray Kendall: Cool spot for drinks and a bite.
Alex: Google says its a wine bar, but they only sell sparkling wine by the glass, if you want regular wine gotta buy a whole bottle, kinda odd for a wine bar. Food could be better, wings were little crunchy but flavorful, need a sauce with them tho, clams were regular and fish has no flavor at all and seemed a bit undercooked. Despite the food impression we liked space and atmosphere, very cozy outdoor patio, but our table was kinda dark, would've been nice to have a candle or something. Overall I would give 3.5 stars
Marti Poole: The food was okay but the drinks were good. The service was slow and it took a while to get food/drinks. They forgot to put our order in the first time and then forgot we ordered food midway through our stay. Staff weren’t very friendly. Bathrooms were 1 star.
Tammy's Travel Tips and more McLain: So delicious I was not prepared for how wonderful the desert was going to be. Oh my gosh!!!
Jameson Madere: Great little spot. Low lighting done phenomenally well to set the appropriate tone for a beautifully prepared selection of menu items. Top-notch service staff maximizes on a well-executed establishment.
Jamie Shahmirzadi: Favorite place to get some bubbles! Their sommelier always recommends amazing wines. Can’t go wrong with her picks! Super cute place for a date night and 100% Instagram worthy.
Tony Thorpe: Great place for a date.
Elizabeth Cotton: We had dinner at Bailey's Chocolate Bar (the sign on the door said POP, so I'm not sure if the restaurants combined). The service was TERRIBLE. We waited over an hour to order our food then the waitress seemed annoyed that we had the audacity to order food while she was busy. I got the short ribs and definitely regretted it. They were the toughest short ribs I've ever had. Like Inhad to saw the meat to cut it. I wont be back.

Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar: what do users think?
Alan Valensky: Seemed like a great spot. Service was friendly and fast. I ordered a Manhattan and still have no idea what drink I was actually made. Not 100% sure there was bourbon in it. But, it's a wine bar so I ordered a glass of Pinot and it was delicious. I ordered the special which was lamb chops. They came out totally untrimmed with all of the fat still on them making them virtually inedible. The parts that were edible were limp and under cooked. No hard sear, no crispy bits which is the whole point of lamb chops. Just fat and undercooked meat. The blackened cauliflower side was delicious. Sadly underwhelmed and $75 later, I'm at another establishment having a real Manhattan and some food so I don't go to bed hungry.
Jess Watson: Amazing service (thanks Terrell). Amazing food. GreatBeer on draft and wine selection. Charcuterie options and build your own board. Pricier but the type of pricier that’s worth it and NOT a disappointing ripoffFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mac and Cheese, Cheese Platter Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Paid street parking …More
Hannah Lonsdale: Came for the charcuterie but balked at $11-13 per item. However, most of the food we tried instead (tomato bisque, chorizo, duck salad) was delicious.I was excited to see a niçoise salad on the menu, if surprised that the fish was salmon rather than tuna. The salmon was a little dry but flavorful and could have been forgiven if the olive dressing hadn't drowned out everything with its overpowering flavor. Embarrassingly bad and unbefitting of an otherwise excellent establishment.Final minor point- it was a quiet night and the bartender cleared away my beers before I'd had a chance to finish and savour the final sip. Stop that please, there's no rush!
Jim Wallace: Excellent little wine bar. Beer too. Recommended.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Lauren Faucher: Nice venue with good food and a nice selection of drinks.
Sara Stennett: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Aaron Mich: Nice establishment with really good food! The service was slow and they forgot my drinks on a few occasions. The light was too dim to read the menu very well and was a bit noisy. They also add on your entree side to the bill and it's not included in the original cost. Overall decent place with a little bit overpriced food.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Cody Cummings: We recently stopped in to Bridge, and it was a great experience. They have one of the best draft selections in all of downtown. Their mix of beers range in types, ABV and locality. You can order 4oz glasses if you’re into trying several. Their wine selection is also pretty varied, and we enjoyed everything we tried. If you’re hungry make sure to try one of the starters. I recommend the mushroom pâté if they’re currently serving it. Their other entrée dishes have a great blend of flavors. Many of the dishes leveraged flavorful proteins like duck sausage or braised pork belly with savory root veggies and herbs. The ambiance has a refined but rustic feel, and the intimate lighting makes it great for dates or just relaxing with a drink. The bartenders are really friendly and we’re a pleasure to talk to. Prices vary drink-to-drink, but they’re pretty reasonable for downtown.I highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t, and we plan to make them a pretty regular stop.
Kevin Chou: Very attentive service, and friendly ambience of the restaurant. Nicely curated listing of beers, definitely try a flight for the experience. Food is tasty and inventive. Well worth a visit.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Andy and Rebecca Tait: We had a great experience with T serving us. Very good and fast service, despite possibly being undermanned. We loved the tenderloin, grilled cheese, scallops and the beers. Glad we went here while visiting STL!
Jenn Anderson: Outstanding service!!! Our server-- and the host-- were so attentive and personable. And the server was so handsome!! 🤩The best stout beer I've ever had! I got the peanut butter one. Just incredible... so smooth and flavourful. The picture I posted is of a charcuterie board I shared with friends. Everything on it was excellent. The fig jam was particularly tasty.
Paul Abert: Very cool venue and great food!
Jacob Blandford: Great spot for dinner and drinks. They have an extensive selection of wine, beer, and spirits the menu is small but they make up for it with quality and delicious selections. The trout was phenomenal. The duck sausage was great. The French onion soup has exceptional flavor. And you definitely need to get a charcuterie board. Amazing summer sausage and local honey.
Steve Landstreet: Fantastic beer list, delicious food, super friendly staff!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Megan Levonyak: Plenty of tasty GF options. Love the cozy environment!
Eric S: Outstanding food! Tacos were amazing, salads and charcuterie boards were yummy, great beer selection. Wonderful service by T! Only complaint would be the interior is SO DARK. I'm never a fan of having to use my phone flashlight to read the menu. Also insanely loud, there's a super low ceiling upstairs in the dining area, and the music plus other diners made conversation just at our table of 4 difficult. Still worth it overall, will be back!
maureen carson: Wine bar? Didn’t have the one Sauvignon blanc by the glass and no rose options. Didn’t care to help me find anything I’d like including the 5 bottle options. Food was blah. Service was slow. Never returning.
R L Watson Jr: Best experience ever, love the environment and service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

'ssippi: what do users think?
Alex Powell: Awesome vibe with delicious wines.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
cameron strickland: Very nice atmosphere. Surprisingly numerous offerings for the size of the space. Will be back.
Johanna Fuehne: Affordable prices, friendly staff, great atmosphere, will come back for sure!!!!
Corrion Clark: Today is 4/21/23 I have just did an 12 hour shift at work I find it very disrespectful for you guys to allow your customers to park in front of people residents. I literally had to park on the next street over. Alot of residents that live on Pennsylvania been having an issue with this, why can't you guys ask your customers to park on Cherokee? This is ridiculous.
Rachel Woodall: I would definitely recommend 'ssippi if you're looking for a memorable and enjoyable wine bar experience. The ambiance, wine selection, patio, and service were all outstanding, and I can't wait to visit again!
Dave ledbetter: Nice little wine spot. Low key and cool hang out in the back ...
Kevin Pinney: Really cool place with a thoughtfully curated wine selection.
Megan McCalla: The absolute best bar in St. Louis.
Peter Crumpler: Pretty dope natural wine bar in south city. Lot's of beautiful people. Bartender was a smoke
Courtney DesMarais: Nice spot for a night cap.Surprised to see an authentic German Kölsh on tap! Cocktails are pretty small and not a lot of super dry reds on the “by the glass” menu when I went in.Some parts of the menu are hard to read because it is wrote on a mirror. So you have to wiggle all around to see what is written.Limited seating and music got pretty loud at one part of the night so it was hard to talk with our little group.Appreciated the menstrual products in the bathroom, vibe of the place, and all the plants.
K: Nice little natural wine bar on Cherokee Street. I took a handful of friends to start at ‘Ssippi for a pub crawl down Cherokee Street. We had a nice time and we enjoyed the variety of drink offerings such as wine, beer and craft cocktails. Lots of natural light with a retro feel. Not a dive bar, but super casual. Outdoor seating available. Recommend!
Holden Martinez: Immaculate vibes. A tad pricey but you get what you pay for. Try the Union Loafers bread.
Yael Paley: Bartender was lovely. Nice ambiance. There was some live piano tonight. Wine was very nice. Great spot!
Freddie Lopez: Local here living in same neighborhood as the bar. Every time I go in there the bar, owners and staff ignore me because they are being buddy buddy with their Caucasian friends. They only seem to talk to white folks in the establishment. This place is not inclusive ! I feel ignored every-time I go in and never feel like anyone helps me with the selection of wines. I wonder who else gets the help in selecting? probably the friends of the owners. Not going back really disappointed that a local bar becomes a hipster bar where locals don’t feel welcomed. Enough with white hipsters gentrifying south city. Oh yeah and it’s card only so if you don’t have a card you not welcomed here. If the owners so scared to deal with cash out of fear of being robbed they should just go to a white neighborhood. Pretentious
Scott Stieven: Great wine and people 👌
Harry Barnard: A bar on Cherokee too pretentious to take cash.
Christopher Wagner: Cute, intimate spot
Virgina Briggs: another lovely night at ssippi on cherokee street ♥ incredible vibes, delicious drinks, and tasty treats (get the gummy bears~)
Haley Strohschein: good vibes good wine
Samira Ak0k0: luvly little corner spot...plenty of unique & classic cocktails,.beers, and wine to choose from...plus they have bread
Hannah Priest: Perfect
