She came in clutch with a last-minute request (which she did not have to and literally went out of her way) to plan an absolutely unforgettable, amazing birthday party for my wife. I would recommend her services to anyone, she has excellent vendors that she uses, a beautiful eye for detail, and a knack for pulling things together. She’s extremely organized and communicative. I have no idea how I would’ve pulled off the event without her facilitating everything that went into it…highly recommend!

Sarah: I cannot recommend Allissa, Sam, and the rest of the Altar'd Events team enough!! We used Altar'd for wedding management services for our big day in November. Allissa and her team are so organized and really helped us stay on track of our (seemingly endless) to-do list in the months leading up to the wedding. Additionally, Allissa's software management tool made communication with her team easy and allowed us to track guest RSVPs and complete our seating charts with the click of a button. During the planning process, Allissa was even able to find us additional coach transportation at an incredible price when we realized we needed another large vehicle to help simplify our wedding day transportation schedule. On the day of our wedding, as to be expected with any event, there were a couple snafus. Allissa and her team handled these issues with such grace and poise that I never even found out about them until after the wedding! Their help allowed my husband and me (and my mom!) to focus on enjoying our day rather than thinking about logistics and coordination details. At the end of our wedding weekend, my bridesmaids could not stop raving about Allissa and her team, which is such a testament to how kind and helpful they were to everyone involved in our big day. Lauren Covell: Altar’d Events is simply put- a team of wedding wizards. They somehow brought our fragmented vision of a wedding to life and absolutely shattered our vision (in a good way!). It was a treat working with them for the year leading up to the wedding. They are a constant beam of assurance and practicality which is what you need when there are so many decisions to make! I knew they were always working in our best interest whenever they represented us to our vendors. Throughout the process, they were incredibly organized and willing to lend a hand with anything I needed. Every single time my now-husband and I got off the phone or left a meeting with them, we always said to each other “thank god we have them!” The wedding of our dreams simply would not have happened without them and we cannot thank them enough. Kate Wheelock: I wish I could give Kate & Co infinity stars. The hands-down best wedding decision we made (and one of my all time best decisions, other than the choice of groom!). From top to bottom, Kate & Co ensures your event will be perfection. Their professionalism, talent, organization, communication and compassion are top notch. Event genuises. Our wedding was previously planned for during what ended up being in the midst of the pandemic in spring of 2020 - Kate & Co. did so much to move the date to months later and significantly downside given the Covid restrictions at the time. I am not sure our wedding would have happened without them. They were on top of everything and focused on making our wedding amazing, but also respectful of our vision and wishes. Could not recommend them more. Simply incredible people.

Kate Schulte: Kate and Company did an excellent job of planning me and my husband’s wedding. We originally planned to have a large wedding with close to 300 guests but due to Covid, we opted to scale down our guest list considerably. Not only was the Kate and Company team supportive of this decision, but they made the transition of what our new vision would look like seem effortless. Definitely not an easy task when scaling down to only 18 guests.Our intimate day was nothing but a dream come true. Caroline Wright: Getting to be a HJE bride is truly magic. Hillary is truly a gift. From her attention to detail, positive energy and design she blows every single event out of the water. It was truly a privilege to have Hillary make our dreams a reality. She goes above and beyond every single event and never fails to pull out a surprise or two from her back pocket! If you ever get the opportunity to be an HJE bride know that you are truly in the BEST hands!
Mary Wagner: Hillary is the absolute best wedding planner ever that truly goes above and beyond! After our first initial conversation I knew I had to use her. Before I even signed any contracts, Hillary was already getting to work and contacting vendors for me. That’s how you know this isn’t just a job for Hillary, but it’s her passion to make dreams come true. My engagement was a quick six months, but she didn’t let the tight timeline get in the way because every detail was planned to a T and she even remembered little things I mentioned in our first few meetings and incorporated that into the wedding day. Going into wedding planning, I was so nervous I wouldn’t be able to let go and enjoy the process, but I quickly learned to fully trust Hillary and that she had my best interest at heart. My wedding week was truly stress free which is so important and I know that’s is due to Hillary and her team. Her assistant, Emily, was fabulous too! I cannot recommend Hillary J Events more!!

She supported us as a couple during the planning process and handled all the management involved with planning a successful wedding. She has a great relationship with all the vendors in the St. Louis area that allowed for a smooth and effortless planning process. Hillary set us up with options on vendors to give us a leg up on pre-vetted teams which she had worked with in the past. Our vendor team was truly top notch, which we owe to Hillary. During these frequent calls, Hillary would be simultaneously following up on action items, sending emails, and corresponding with various vendors so that we did not have to. Often, I did not even know that this communication was done until it was finished.If anything went wrong day of, I don’t know about it, which is a true testament to Hillary and her team, keeping calm under time crunches and solving issues quickly and quietly. The HJE event team took pressure off the entire family to allow us to enjoy the weeks and days leading up, as well as the full wedding day.Our guests continue to share with us that our reception was one of the most beautiful they had attended, which is something I can guarantee would not have been possible without the HJE teams’ attention to detail and design. From the floral, to the rentals, and coordination with the venue, the design and execution was seamless and beautiful.All in all, the HJE event team made our day what it was, and we are so thankful! Ellie Spinner: When I got engaged, as any woman knows, your mind is filled with so many exciting details. I for one went right to work. I booked all of my major vendors right out of the gate. I knew I had to be prompt with all of the brides having to rebook as well as the other newly engaged brides that didn’t want to wait 2 years to get married. I got to a point and said to myself, ok what now? I was encouraged by many to hire a wedding planner. Not just any wedding planner though - HillayJEvents. I sent an inquiry and immediately got an email back saying thank you so much and someone will reach out, it’s been a crazy year for the industry. I was not left waiting. Hillary and Caroline swooped in and helped guide me through the next steps of my planning process. They allowed me to share my vision with them and they made it come alive. She hit the ground running, and not only made sure every item we wanted was present at our wedding, but came up with so many small, creative ideas that made our wedding feel like 'us'. On the actual wedding day, there was never a moment I worried or stressed over anything, I knew that Hillary and her team had it all worked out, and the day went off without a hitch. Sara Wood: The team of Hillary J Events is nothing short of spectacular and other than saying "YES!", the best decision of our entire engagement and wedding! While pivoting from a large wedding and reception in St. Louis to a 30 person intimate week in Kiawah Island was challenging for me to manage as the bride, Hillary could see every important detail in the new setting with just a little southern charm added to it. Her focus and commitment to discovering each couple's "most important details" was reflected in the final design of the ceremony and reception that was everything we had dreamed of. She had a way of creating a unified vision from different thoughts and pictures that unburdened me as the bride. Anyone can pull down Instagram and other inso photos - it truly does take an expert in event design and planning to execute the dream on your biggest day! Every ribbon, every plate, every flower, and every linen was nothing short of perfection - without Hillary and Caroline, I do not believe this would have ever happened. Alyson Tegethoff: Hillary and her team really are the best ever. I knew before even getting engaged that I wanted Hillary to plan my wedding so when we started planning in 2019 the experience was amazing! Hillary adapted to every twist that planning and re-planning a wedding in 2020 threw at us and managed to pull of the most perfect day I could ever have imagined. Hillary’s vendor recommendations were spot on and every detail was taken care of. Hillary’s positivity and creativity never cease to amaze me. Not only is she a fantastic wedding and event planner but the most kind and thoughtful person as well!
Clare Donovan: Hillary is THE BEST!!! Hillary can be as involved or uninvolved as you want. We originally thought we just wanted a planner for day of stuff in St. Louis because we had already found our "big" vendors. When we had to pivot to our "Plan B" wedding and have a micro wedding in Colorado I called Hillary in tears explaining how I couldn't imagine replanning a whole wedding three months out and doing this without her. She was quick to accept our invitation to Colorado and immediately started planning the entire thing and found every vendor (which was difficult in a tiny resort town in CO!) I didn’t lift a finger after our big STL wedding was cancelled which was a life saver and made the entire process stress free during this extremely stressful year! Every single detail of our Plan B wedding was absolutely perfect, and all the things I never knew I wanted! That's because Hillary makes sure to get to know the client for exactly who and what they are so she can make your wedding day reflect exactly what you want and need. It was an honor and a privilege to have Hillary as an essential part of our wedding day, and I wouldn't have had it any other way!!

Alex Levis: Melody and Absolutely IN! Events are wedding warriors who I would trust with my life. For over a year, they were in the trenches with me and my husband, Matt, as we planned our dream event in St. Louis while living in Los Angeles. Melody was a master of creative solutions to myriad curveballs thrown our way during the process (even the thunderstorm that rolled in the morning of our outdoor wedding, dropping the temperature to a brisk 50 degrees). She never blinked and kept everyone cool, calm and collected. From start to finish everything was immaculately organized, collaborative and personal. She helped develop our vision from random buzzwords into a sophisticated, romantic and FUN wedding that our guests are still raving about. Melody became so much more than a planner to us – she is now a lifelong friend. We can’t speaking highly enough of her and her concierge business. We loved the intimacy of working with AI – feeling like our event actually mattered on a personal level and wasn’t just another wedding churned out by a larger company. Melody is patient, attentive and prioritizes the client experience above all else. She took the time to get to know us as a couple and tweaked elements of our wedding to reflect that. Nothing seemed to trip her up either. Melody navigated complicated family dynamics with professionalism and charm. She wrangled underperforming vendors (that I made the mistake of engaging before I started working with AI…whoops) and had the tough conversations to get things back on track. She even took on planning the rehearsal dinner with my mother and sister-in law and created an equally impressive event that set the tone for a memorable weekend. We constantly relied on Melody’s expertise, her vendor recommendations and her creativity. Her connections and reputation in the St. Louis wedding planning community are excellent – vendors were willing to go above and beyond for our event because Melody was at the helm. We would have been lost without her. In every photo, in spite of the frigid weather, Matt and I look so, SO happy and I can confidently thank Melody for that.

I work with Melody on a regular basis and cannot say enough about her professionalism, attention to detail and kind, can-do attitude. N Chard: UPDATE: I have never replied to a business owner's reply BUT the condescension and tone met with a 100% truthful reply is more than enough validation that this is not a reputable company to do business with. As I previously stated this woman was unprofessional and her reply proved that. That alone gives credibility to my review. I don't need your phone number Ellen because you contacted me directly on my cell phone and not only do I have your number but I have your phone number and apparently posting numbers is frowned upon because Google will not allow me to do so. A nasty reply to an honest review is what's really hurting your business so that cannot be blamed on me. And I am not the first person who reached out to you and you failed to deliver. There are reviews on YELP that skewer you as a person and business woman. You don't know an "N Chard" because you probably bs'ed your way through the call and had no intention of following up. Again, you make yourself look bad and proved that you more than earned this poor review. Would you like me to forward the emails from Melody Lowry at Absolutely In? A business owner is accountable for his or her staff as well.I contacted her from out of state for my child's first birthday party. I needed a person who would be able to arrange things, set up vendors, find a venue as well as refer me to a bakery to create a custom cake. When I initially reached out to her it took her a week to call me back and she explained this was because she was traveling. I don't know of a professional in today's world that is out of reach when traveling and this should have been my first clue as to her level of committment and professionalism. I decided to discuss my vision with her and she asked for a budget. I explained that I didn't have a budget in mind and wanted to be somewhat obnoxious as this is my first and only child. She seemed excited about this and told me she would work on a contract that would include pricing for vendors and their fee. This was oh probably a month ago. I have not heard from her since. After about a week I realized she is as flaky as the worst reviews I have now found about her. I would not trust her for details for an imaginary tea party.
Crystal Prag: Absolutely incredible! We could NOT have done it without them! Absolutely IN was the number one reason I could enjoy the many special moments of our wedding day. We worked with Melody and McKinley who were attentive to the finest of details, professional, kind, and very reliable. They felt more like friends who were constantly there to support us throughout our wedding weekend. As one who has worked a number of weddings myself, I knew we had a lot of moving pieces on our wedding day with multiple venues, tons of surprises, guests from all across the country, many specialty rentals, rain, and a lot of logistics -- and they handled everything seamlessly. I knew from the get-go that we needed a team we could really depend on so that we could be present on our big day and they were just that. They had excellent communication with us, our guests, and all of our vendors. Anything we asked of them was always given an affirmative, reassuring response. They were also sensitive to the many emotions that are felt on such an important day. They are the ultimate planning team that made our wedding day a dream come true. We cannot recommend them highly enough for your best day ever too! Thank you, Absolutely IN!

Galicia Guerrero: We had a magical day because of Big Bow Events. They embraced our vision for the day and let us run with our color scheme and theme. Our reception was absolutely beautiful because of their hard work. I was absolutely in love with my florals. I was so excited to have real sunflowers in my bouquets when multiple other florists said they'd never be able to get real sunflowers in April. They literally worked magic!
Christina Clemons: Nikki and Muhammad are a pleasure! My maid of honor and I had a blast planning everything out to make this wedding a dream come true. Drew Sinha: Big Bow made my and my wife's wedding the most special day that we could ask for.The two of us were interested in a fusion (Western-Hindu) ceremony in St. Louis for Summer 2020 that would bring together many different groups of friends and family. From the beginning, Fahan and Nikki demonstrated a strong commitment to channel our vision into a plan that would be true to our values for our wedding. They put us in contact with exceptional vendors and staff, and also accommodated some of our special requests (e.g. my family being Bengali, my parents found an additional source for some regional food to be served at the at the reception). Fahan and Nikki even accompanied me to a casual sampling for one of our dinner vendors. Overall, we both appreciated how much they listened and considered our interests throughout the plan (in addition to being straightforward around their opinions of whether certain ideas would be feasible or reasonable for our budget).Naturally, our wedding was postponed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Big Bow was very supportive in developing a strategy to maximize chances of making the day happen. Despite having done a considerable amount of work already prior to the pandemic and all of us having some planning fatigue, they were attentive to detail in getting us to our wedding day.Come our eventual day (June 2021), we were amazed with the smoothness of our wedding. Fahan and Nikki were both around, and we had little to do except enjoy. We did not experience any challenges (or, if we did, we knew little about them - they handled day-of coordination professionally and efficiently). We would not hesitate to recommend Big Bow to any friends or family who would be interested in hosting a similar event (or, for that matter, any fusion ceremony/celebration).
Giselle Estep: Let me start by saying that Big Bow Events is amazing! We loved meeting with them initially, subsequently and having them plan, decorate and do lighting for our daughter's wedding in Cocoa Beach, FL. The thing we loved about them the most is that they told us the truth. Sometimes the truth hurts, but when you understand that they wanted our success and to preserve their reputation as an awesome event provider, it all makes sense. They are so genuine (real) and cut right to the point, even when they say it in a joke! Nikki and Muhammad are fun to talk with, give great advice and have incredible follow through! We would highly recommend them a thousand times! We wish we could give them a million STARS instead of just FIVE!
Jasmine Ice: He was not interested in listening to my ideas of what I wanted for my wedding. I have my own centerpieces and arch, and he told me my arch was not sturdy(he had never seen it in person or touched it to know that), so he was going to use it. His primary focus was to use all of his products to charge a renters fee on top of whatever else he was going to do. He told me reusing the centerpieces in the ceremony to reception was disgusting. We informed him the centerpieces would be cleaned before being put on tables and they was going to be on top of the runner. His wife had to keep jumping in because he kept getting off-topic, trying to act cool and talking about how he was from the hood like that was supposed to impress us. We do not care! He should let the wife handle the consultations because he will run customers away. I only went in looking for flowers, and he was trying to sell us everything we did not need. Customer service is everything, and as a business owner, this wasn't very pleasant. I would not recommend this company to anyone!Understand that this was my experience and my review, your response just provided my point.

Sabrina McRoberts: We loved Benji. There is no one better we could’ve had. I can’t tell you how many people were dancing, and I come from a fairly stiff family. He did everything we asked perfectly and was extremely flexible.
Brittlynn Royce Hetzel: I contacted Millennium Productions for my Ceremony and Wedding. They connected me with the perfect DJ who shared mine and my Soon to be Husband's music tastes. My Husband and I are both into heavy metal, metal core, and rock metal, and while I do listen to other genres I'm not very knowledgeable about the music that is popular right now that our guests will be expecting to hear. We also have no idea about country music, so we needed a DJ who knew what they were doing. We got the perfect DJ, who listened to what our wants and needs were and Also took notes for what was expected for the ceremony. I just know I made the right decision choosing them, and will be updating my review after I get back from my Honeymoon.

Check-ins with us following the ceremonyA few disappointments/opportunities would be the following:1. Not having the specific kind of music we requested and they agreed to play *especially* when we had a class that focused on teaching all of our guests how to dance to this type of music.2. There appeared to be a gap in downloading our must have music we sent (after they asked for it) and understanding the difference between our slow beat and fast paced music.3. Not reading the audienceWe felt often times the audience was not read to make adjustments on the fly for our music during the dance party4. Playing the full song rather than transitioning and mixing the musicWe did not notice very much mixing of the music and very much felt the approach was a more “select and play” strategy-Following my request of playing more of half of each song since it appeared that our attendees were getting tired/bored of many songs played to the end, I did not see any adjustments.Although the music play for the ceremony and reception went very well we saw large opportunities during the party. We had worked hard to meet, communicate and give our DJ everything he needed for a successful night but it was extremely disappointing.

We have pretty specific music tastes and knew exactly what we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. DJ Tony understood perfectly the vibe we were going for and absolutely rocked it! Our guests were on the dance floor the whole night and so many people commented that they had such a great time! He was so professional, "herded the cats" as our emcee perfectly through speeches and announcements, and communicated to us excellently about what the plan was and any in-the-moment decisions that needed to be made. Rave reviews all around.

He had great suggestions when we were stuck on song choices. Harry worked with our wedding planner and venue to make sure all went smoothly. Kelsey Ortmann: I cannot say enough good things about Millenium Productions! We booked them for our DJ, Videographer and they did the uplighting in our venue. Cameron was an absolutely amazing DJ-we got endless comments about how amazing the music was! We recently got our video back and it beyond exceeded our expectations! It was absolutely beautiful and I cannot stop watching it! And if you are thinking of adding additional lighting to your venue I highly recommend it. It truly elevated the beauty and elegance at the Caramel room! 10/10!!

Taylor: If you are needing a DJ for any event, you should use Millennium Productions. They have many DJ's and with all different styles. I truly believe they have a DJ for every event, every setting and for specifically weddings or parties, they have a DJ that matches your personality or "energy" haha. My husband and I are so happy we used Millennium Productions for our wedding. They wanted to get to know us and really took into account who we were and what we wanted for our wedding. Our DJ was Shawn and he was so easy going and amazing. My husband and I listen to a lot of house music and Shawn is a master at mash-ups, so it worked perfectly to play songs loved by all with a twist. We wanted Shawn to do his thing, we didn't have a long list of "must play" songs, we trusted Shawn after meeting him and wanted him to have fun. Our only request was no electric slide (it really is overrated). Shawn got to know us and wanted to know what music we love. I am also a huge 80's fan, I asked if it was possible during dinner to have some 80's hits. I'll just say that I wish I had his playlist now, it was perfect and everyone loved it! All I keep hearing about was how our DJ was great and the music was so good. Thank you Shawn and Millennium for such an amazing night, it was perfect!

From our initial consult with Brian where he was very professional and did a great job explaining our options to our meet and greet with our DJ Patrick to the wedding of our dreams! The DJ is the gatekeeper to the wedding the day of and Patrick was AMAZING! Jake and I weren't nervous at all because Patrick was nice, communicative, and flexible. Our friends and family loved working with him and Patrick did a good job sticking to our rules of no one gets the mic except for us or with our permission lol. We had a lot of last minute changes and Patrick was extremely nice and accommodating throughout it all. Trust in Millennium and ask for Patrick! You will not regret it!

Will was so timely in setting up a meeting with us before the wedding to go through what we envisioned for our wedding and what songs we wanted for every portion of the wedding and what songs we did not want. His personality and professionalism are exactly what we were looking for in our DJ. He curated a truly AMAZING wedding playlist and we had an amazing time dancing at our reception!! He went above and beyond, reaching out to us even beyond the music to make sure we had a great wedding.
Meredith Novak: We used this company for our high school’s prom for the last two years. The first year, the DJ didn’t have any of our music downloaded and couldn’t connect to the venue’s wifi, so he didn’t play anything that we wanted (and couldn’t accommodate requests… but he asked for them anyway).What happened this year is reprehensible. During our dance, this DJ asked multiple high school-age girls for their phone numbers. He showed up to a kid’s house party after the dance ended.That night, some students found a bio online that he had written saying proms were his favorite events to work, but, in our call weeks before, he told me that this was his first prom. This detail has now been removed.We reported this incident to Millennium Productions. Their excuse for a solution is to restrict this DJ from working proms in the future. We are extremely disappointed in the company’s failure to fully hold its employees accountable for inexcusable predatory behavior. Do not work with them.
George S: This company DJ’d my schools prom. Everyone said that he looked creepy even heard a “he’s giving American psycho.” Later in the night he showed up to a house party with many underage teens. My school attempted to report him, but no action was taken. Do not hire from this company.

Lindsey Shelton: Working with SSD and more specifically, Sam, was the best decision I made for my wedding. They took so much stress off of me in the process and delivered the perfect day. Sam is phenomenal at her job and is a wonderful advocate for her brides with vendors. If you are getting married you need to hire SSD! I am forever grateful for the wonderful day they helped make happen!
Paula Naugle: Ashlee, Katie, Sam and the entire SSD team … simply amazing! They guided this mamma bear and my daughter/the bride, Mallory, seamlessly through the wedding planning process and put together the most extraordinary group of vendors for us. The best of the best! There is nothing Mallory & Jonathan would change about their special day. Truly their dream wedding. They took any worry or anxiety away and made the process easy and stress free. Their level of knowledge in this industry is top notch. Plus they are loads of fun and we made a new group of friends with these ladies that continues today.
Sara Jaspers: Ashlee, Sam and the rest of the SSDE crew made our wedding seamless. I don't know what we would have done without them. They helped us from the beginning, since my husband and I are both busy professionals, and had no idea what we needed, what vendors to choose, etc. Basically they would ask us what we liked, give us options, and we would say "yep, that looks great". Also, on the day of the wedding they were so helpful in keeping everyone on schedule and "herding the cats" on both the bride and groom's side. I thought at first it was a bit "boujie" to hire a wedding planner, but if you're spending that much money on a wedding, you want it to be executed well, and a lot less stress on family and friends since they don't have to help with details as much (and can enjoy the wedding, without worrying about a "task" they have to do).
jess jeyabalan: We had the best experience working with Ashlee, Sam, Katie, and the SSD team and they did so much to make our wedding day (June 2021) the best day ever! We will be forever grateful to them for everything they did for us, they went above and beyond. We planned our wedding remote from NYC/during Covid, and only met them in person the day before our wedding. They were always on top of everything and were consistently authentic, constructive, thoughtful problem solvers, detail oriented, and made the whole process from day one smooth and seamless. They have great relationships with so many amazing vendors and helped us find the ones that aligned with what we were looking for that we wouldn't otherwise have known about/had access to (for example our cake vendor was fully booked, but they made an exception for us because of the SSD team). We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this team.

Rachael Silverstein: I'm a wedding photographer based in NYC and I had the privilege of working with Signed Sealed Delivered Events on a beautiful wedding in St. Louis at The Caramel Room (with getting ready at Angad Arts Hotel and portraits at Missouri Botanical Garden). As a photographer who was not able to visit St. Louis prior to the wedding day, everyone at SSD was so incredibly helpful, gracious, and more than willing to help (like printing a revised shot list the day before the wedding when I didn't have a printer easily accessible). They answered my 5,000 questions and were literally a DREAM vendor to work with! I cannot sing their praises enough from the vendor perspective.The wedding they planned was EXQUISITE! I've photographed (and attended) a LOT of weddings and this was by far one of the top MOST beautiful ones I've documented! Every detail was thoughtfully, beautifully executed and stayed true to the client's personality and preferences. They are also FUN. Weddings days can be stressful and the fabulous team at SSD always stayed calm, professional, kind, quick on their feet to smooth out any hiccups--their energy flowed through the whole day and evening and really created such a special, memorable experience for the couple and their families. I hope to have the opportunity to work with them many more times despite not being based in St. Louis!
