They didn’t look over the clothing with us before dropping it off, nor did they inform us of any of this!I called and they said it would be $40. Then I asked for a receipt and they said “well I was just guessing about the $40 so if you want a receipt I can get it to you when they give us the quote but $40 is what they usually charge us.” SCAM!They also then told me there were “pit stains”…. Before I purchased she told me she wouldn’t want it to have “pit stains” and I explained to her I do not ever sweat (medical). She was just coming up with anything to try and get more money. They will do whatever they can to screw you over. Absolutely do not ever use this company!Absolutely horrible- will never utilize their services again.Very unorganized. The place and the clothes smell horrible- doubt they are cleaned.

Corey G: Nicely curated pieces. No stains, rips, tears, or rot noted. Vintage appeared to be authentic. Size range seemed to skew small, but possible that larger sizes had been purchased. A highlight of the merchandise was a small section compromised of pieces created by a local designer using vintage fabrics.One large display near the back of the store was categorized by color instead of size or piece type. This was the most interesting section of merchandise – and held what seemed to be the most unique pieces – but was difficult to thumb through as each piece blended into the next. It almost feels like a prop or set designer set up the store rather than a retailer.This is definitely a good place to stop in and absorb a beautifully curated space while visiting The Foundry. It is a great place to meandering into. It is not likely to be a place you’d head to because you have a specific event or occasion and need to find something for it.Staff had the standard midwestern vintage store energy of white lady aloofness with a touch of disgust. Hopefully I caught them on an off day, but having shopped at nearly every vintage store in the region over the past decade it would not be shocking if it’s part of their branding.Overall, it’s a beautiful space in a convenient location, but it doesn’t reflect the warmth and authenticity that permeates neighboring retailers.

Mer: Anytime a friend visited I always made sure they got to go to Mays. The clothing is in fantastic condition and I have so many amazing leather jackets and one of a kind pieces from here. There is a wide variety of fairly priced clothing in great condition. This shop is a must if you love vintage clothing.

It is embarrassing to witness and it's I'm so unprofessional doing it in front of customers. She is too attached to her stuff to have it offered for sale. She had Linda go upstairs and gather large bags of lace and I went through every bit of it. While waiting for prices she kept My friend and I waiting for 25 minutes while she was sorting magazines to go in the recycling bin. We stood there not knowing what to do and then finally when she returned her attention to us she said she couldn't make up a price and put all the lace that I had picked out back into the bags and again had Linda lug them back upstairs to put away. Some people should not own a shop and this is one of them. There are so many other options in St Louis to go to, avoid this!!!!! The worst shop I've ever been to since in business of 25 years

I'm a theatre director and I know what I want and what is needed for the show, I don't need them to tell me what I want and push me around the store. Not to mention, she called me wide when in fact I am very petite and regularly wear an XS/S or a 0-4. They don't deserve to be in business. There are plenty of other professionalvintage shops in Saint Louis that are much more welcoming AND have a better selection.

I found a beautiful black lace shawl to wear to a wedding at a great price and actually had several to choose from. I was also able to get a lovely black jet hair pin. From go go boots to Great Gatsby, this place has you covered!

Jon Colt: Until you go in here, you will never know what you have been missing. This little gem will turn any event you have to attend into a special occasion. If you don't like being noticed...stay away. If you do, there is almost any 'dressy' outfit, from any era over the past 200 years, in every color and every style. For men and women, by the way, they both rent and sell. It is definitely a local St. Louis gem, that is unique to our fair city. BTW, they will ship for out of town events/customers.

They overestimate/overprice nearly everything they sell.The staff were kind enough today - but this has rarely been the case on previous visits. I tried reaching out to the store in my free time but was blocked on Instagram.Oh and there are sketchy characters, in addition to homeless individuals, that loiter at the adjacent parking lot.The remodel: great. The experience: not so much.

How can you say “great selection but price is too high” ???? You get what you pay for and you have to pay the cost to be the boss! I’m pretty sure most people want to pay $10 dollars for a shirt from the 80s that is in excellent brand new condition! Hop in a time machine and go to that concert and buy the shirt you see at Reset ! LoL Oh you can’t ? The prices here are not high compared to Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, or even Atlanta! Go to Florida and try and find anything for a fraction of the price you see anything here for. Anybody that comes to town and visit will spend a few thousand here and KNOW they are getting a deal! I would give 4 stars because the prices are so low! Too many people come and get what I want before I see it posted on the Instagram story LoL! Please don’t hate on this place because you have never been to any place like it! Just appreciate what they are doing and tell or don’t tell anybody about this place! Don’t tell if you frequently shop here and want to keep your fresh Swag to yourself LoL! Please do tell all your broke friends so they can bring their swaggy gear in here to restock the store so I can get it next time I visit! We all know the broke friends won’t buy anything but they surely will give this place a 1 star because of whatever “broke” reason they can find :(Do everybody a favor—step your game up, huSTLe Hard, come to Reset, and get fresh, don’t mess up the gear, so I can come and wear it better than you did 💯-sincerely the illest in Nebraska 😎
