Treasurer LSNA: Lafayette Square had a 50-year tradition with their integral fundraiser, the annual Holiday Parlor and Summer House Tour. With the event of COVID and social restrictions, the Lafayette Square Restoration Committee, a 501(c)(3) charitable entity, needed to find a balance of community outreach, local fundraising and preserving a unique opportunity to share the history of one of St. Louis’ oldest neighborhoods. Jill Peckinapugh: I am a member of the Lafayette Square House & Garden Tour Committee, and my role was to present to the board a new vision as well as head of the Publicity and Marketing for the House & Garden Tour event. COVID hit and it had been over a year since we were able to do a in house tour and were heading into another season without the possibility of a tour. It was our job to reinvent how we were to bring this historical house tour back to the public and fans that had been attending the house tours for over 50 years , make it safe and bring it current to 2021. Our gala has been very successful in past years, selling out and raising needed funds for our MAT Program. The pandemic was the challenge and situation that caused us to look into a virtual option. Lindsey Barile: I am the Brand Experience Manager for Neiman Marcus St. Louis. I oversee all marketing, special events and community partnerships.
