VA St. Louis Regional Office: what do users think?
Julius Schweich: Three minutes of department phoneOptions followed by the " unusually high volume" cliche; some morecustomer service dodging Options, and then USE THE INTERNET!Surprise. Maybe I already have triedthat. All I want to know is how I can getHearing aids. I am 88 years old andhad 4 years active plus 27 ANG.
Mark Ryan: Terrible
Sharon Cox: We are there to serve our Veterans.
nikolas sargent: The representatives at this VFW are absolutely outstanding, and will do everything in their power to help you with your claims. They will ensure the proper forms are turned in. As long as you give them the correct evidence they need for each claim you are in good hands. If you do not know what you need, they will tell you. Don’t expect to walk in and have them do all the legwork. They will tell you what you need to do on your end and it is your responsibility to do so. They will ensure that the proper forms are turned in in the correct way at the correct time. Most of the negative feedback I am seeing on here is because the veterans did not have the proper documentation from the sound of it. You must have proper diagnosis, nexus letters linking it to your military service, and evidence, with either statements or physician written statements to prove your claim. Again, the representatives at this location are absolutely outstanding, and I highly recommend them
David Black: They said there're too busy to talk to anyone.
Jim Emily: Natalie helped me so much. I can't so enough gratitude to her. Thanks Natalie see you again.
Mushmouth: Apparently this isn’t Veterans Affairs it’s just records. Which could have been easily explained without the attitude. I called because I wanted to ask a question to get assistance about obtaining a Schedule A letter for veterans with disability 30 percent or higher for preference points. The “lady” was so rude I didn’t even get to ask the question and I use this term loosely she was just full of attitude and snark. I just huge up. No reprimand from me just silence but had this have been in person, I would have been ready to introduce her to Facebook. I was too upset to even ask for a name.
billy ham: They are very arrogant and have absolutely no empathy towards anyone I’ve ever heard them speak with. I should’ve known from the day I walked into the office and heard the way they were speaking to a couple other veterans on the phone. I should’ve ran away that day. Rather than doing as I ask I am told how they won’t or don’t want to do something. I’ve been told my options by hundreds of veterans and explain my situation hundreds of times and I am talked to like trash for trying to do things the way I’ve been told. I try to put in claims and I’m told no even though that is not their job To decide. They are new claims and they are telling me no because I didn’t see The doctor for it. Who cares, it is not their job their job is to put in the claims and do what we ask of them
aubrey young: It was okay I didn't get what I wanted there though
Ashley Baber: Very upsetting phone call this afternoon with Natalie Berry. I didn’t get the service which I thought I was going to receive. The lady made it seem as though I was inconveniencing her as she blew out her breath while waiting for me to speak. Sorry I needed a damn minute while being reminded of my MST. Just disappointing.
chuck watson: I have been in VOCREHAB for a while but due to COVID, I wasn't able to finish the program. I received a call from someone new to my case and he stated he was trained in a different region and he should just close my case. he said it sounds like you are on board. I was in the middle of a funeral so I told him whatever you think. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH HOW THEY TREATED ME. I GUESS MY MILITARY SERVICE DOESN'T MATTER TO THEM. I AM UPSET
Mark Palmer: Nobody knows anything, their system is down, their system is not pulling up ypur information, your not in their system, insult to injury, but thank you for your service in their most sarcastic tone. They call and leave a number for you to return their call, but give you a bogus number that is disconnected. A true reflection of the VA.
Ivan Page: I work there they goveVeterans the highest quality work when attending to their needs or requests
Dave Taylor: Great good friendly help
Scott Vandevander: Talked to a representative by phone, who was very helpful and gave me a better understanding of how education benefits worked. Also, gave me useful suggestions, thank you.
Kevin Childers: Great place to work and they're hiring by the way. New building is much nicer than the old Federal Records Center was. The National Archives and Records Administration has moved to their new facility up in Spanish Lake, off of Dunn Rd. Many of the Veterans' Service Organizations (VSOs) have offices here as well.
Adam Sandifer: The automated number does not allow you to talk with a real service rep. I’m extremely disappointed and want my benefits updated...
John Lemmo: I couldn’t even get through the automated answering service. After about 10 min of frustrating dialogue with R2D2, and refusing to give out my SS # to who knows who, I was finally placed in a que to speak with the next agent - and was told that might happen “in approximately 18 minutes”. Time to hang up and count slowly to ten...
Kristine Whitley: Great service as usual, customer rep was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions quickly and efficiently.
Astenos: Sick and tired of the VA dragging their feet. Have had a disability claim running 6 years now still nothing and my post 9-11 education benefits are always delayed even after receiving everything they need almost a month in advance. They I’ve medicated me to the point of 4 suicide attempts. A private doctor fixed that problem but filing a lawsuit isn’t possible can’t sue the government. So what’s the purpose of the VA system? I’ll tell you what it is, it is an established organization that the fed set up to babysit veterans and give American citizens a warm fuzzy that we are cared for. Hey America the VA is a sham
firstladymm: They usually work hard to assist Veterans and their families

Disabled American Veterans: what do users think?
kraisy dave: Always taking care of Vets! Please note they are handling tons of cases right now while other neighboring organizations stopped due to the lock downs. I had to walk in to get an appointment, but it was worth it.
Patricia Murray: Not very helpful like they used to be
Trainer pool: Still no response to emails...maybe they're undermanned
Taylor Rodgers: I'm sure they are great if they ever answer the phone. Haven't been able to get ahold of them, or get any responses for my emails in months.
D G: 👍
Wesley Scott: Hard to get ahold of at Columbia VA hospital so I just called regional office and they helped a bunch.
Terri Ross-Cleveland: DAV has always been there for the veterans. They have very good service counselors and their main priority is the veteran. I use them for my earlier VA claim and now I'm using them again
Elayne Sieckmann: Very motivated to help you.
Timothy Benoit: These guys are respectful, knowledgeable and great at what they do. I think I spent more time dealing with the circus of a security checkpoint at the building entrance than I actually did at my appointment. On that note, come a little bit early because the security is more thorough than an airport. Make sure not to bring anything considered a weapon. I was denied entrance the first time because of my Leatherman multitool. Good thing security was so vigilant. Who knows how much damage I could've repaired had they let me pass with that behemoth of a weapon. But yeah, anyhow, the DAV here is great.
adkwildman barkeater: They went to bat for my VA claim, very professional and a really big building! Security is tight, but nothing to worry about - they helped me when nobody else would! Definitely recommend them for my fellow veterans
Jerry Garrett: STL mo
Me Heitz: If your a veteran. They can help
keith pope: They go out of there way to help u
Michael Kozlowski: You'll have to pass through security but once inside any veteran should be able to find the assistance they need. Good central location off of Page. No longer have to deal with the city.
William Davidson: They are helping me with my VA claim. Be prepared this is a government building so there is metal detectors and full security. Make sure you account for that to make sure you show up early to get through security before your appointment.
Jin Zou (阿瑾): A office building!

St. Louis VA Medical Center: what do users think?
Deborah Halter: Good VA hospital. Most take their work seriously.
Yolanda Y Pendleton: Waited OVER 2 HOURS FIR A DOCTOR TO BE ASSIGNED TO ME AFTER I WAS ESCORTED TO A BED IN THE ER! WOW
Robert Morgan: Please tell your employees that in a hospital you don't stand outside or in the patient rooms discussing personal business or anything else people who are already sick don't want to hear your issues
Delbert Hults: Could be better
Joseph Favuzza: Doctors at VA are very good.Staff is blah. Some are good and most are like flat tire in rush hour.
Z Peter Florian: I have been receiving medical care here for 10+ years here, at least 6 visits yearly and a couple of hospitalizations and one surgery. The building is dated but always clean. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and always courteous. God bless them.
Victor Centeno: I am grateful for the VA treatments. I keep up with my appointments and they keep me running. I get my Rx refill over the automated system.Optometrist checking was a bit difficult but after COVID-19, what can you expect, podiatrist section(4th floor)where a “Sicilian” provides insoles and back support never smiles but does his job ok. My specialist on the 8th floor is cool…. The blood labs on the 2nd floor are always friendly. Receptionist always know by heart where to guide me to. I got no complaints. I am blessed.
David Hawkins: On Feb 10 2023 11am my ride. Not valet pulled to front I'm disabledI was trying to get in and 2 redcoat valets were yelling. Not asking us to pull up we couldn't there was a car in front of us. I was still getting. In. This happens on every visit. Something has to change. Always a bad experience with parking. For disabled. All the Handicap spots are taken up by Handicaped Hospital staff. Cheating this system for disabled Patients.
Al: Excellent customer service and the doctor was very nice, knowledgeable and informative, my short visit to the ER was fast 💨 in and out. I know everyone has different experiences dealing with the VA healthcare but my experiences has been great thus far 😊
Alan Robinson: I always receive good professional medical care from the VA staff, but the parking is sometimes a lil confusing.
Mark Miller: Great doctors and a very reliable staff! Vallet parking available and a lot of amenities to offer. A canteen store on the 3rd floor? They also have a cafeteria?
d k: Distrubing, chat with assistant, I was there to see a doctor.Assistant never said they were not doctor, seemed to not believe my research over fourty years of having this disorder, was any good.I am sure I offended them as much as they offended me.Went down to blood work, said to tech, howdy partner, they promptly said we were not partners, so much for trying to be funny. maybe die first before comming back.
Justin McGinley: Helped me on my road to recovery and helped the detox process from killing me from alcohol st.louis always impresses thanks VA
Shawn Forbes: I am writing this review specifically to review the phone reception/customer service/switchboard aspect of this facility. I have had very bad experiences with trying to get through to the right person over 50% of the time. For example, I just was on hold for 25+ minutes with the "Make/Change/Schedule" line only to get transferred to the wrong office. This or something like this has happened repeatedly. I've been sent in circles, hung up on, and hung up on, gotten dead lines, or told I'd get a call back only not to. I highly recommend leadership to review the telephone interface/support aspect of this facility as from my experience it needs overhauled. I'm saying this from getting services from the VA for 10 years from 3 VA systems. The others were good/excellent. This one is dysfunctional and is surely contributing to negative health implications for our veterans. I have an important appointment to make. I also do not have an entire hour of my workday just to try to get it scheduled.
Fleurette Henderson: I would like to recommend and thank the V.A. Cardiology Doctors and Kidney Doctors. My husband received excellent care and consultation before and after his surgery. The nurses in the SICU were profession and understanding of our needs. We were given respect and consultation with each step of needed treatment. Thanks to care received my husband is home.Respectfully,William and Fleurette Henderson
zhan wuzha: Run by bunch of bullies.
Israel: I just became a veteran and I must say that I am highly disappointed and even appalled at the treatment that I’ve endured. Louise in primary care is a horrible person. It’s disgusting the way that we are treated here. I just want my medications refilled and I am having to fight tooth and nail to get it done. These people here do not care about anyone. I don’t even know why they’re here if they hate us so much. I’m afraid that the toxicity at this location goes all the way up the chain.
Bob Probst: The VA has been my primary medical server since I got out of the Navy in 1951! I have nothing but good comments about the service, facility and in general everything about the place! I thank God that it exists!
Brina Harris (Puscats): If you’re going to listen and follow directionsGo to John Cohan
Christina Morris: Terrible experience. Went to the ER at the direction of a triage nurse. The “screener” at the ER was combative and RUDE! Refused to give me her name so I could report her. Disgusting, dirty, loud, non-helpful. After it was all said and done I was given anti-inflammatory meds and muscle relaxers. Drink plenty of fluid and good luck. I’ll be headed some place else. If I never have to set foot in this place again I’ll be happy!!
Shawn Beasley: Why do i keep gettin middle eastern therapist's.
