Suzanne Chisum: It is good that there are 24 hour urgent care’s available. I appreciate them especially in times of illness.Parking at this location is challenging. There is a parking garage a block over but ghat is not the best walk of a person is sick.I was probably asked for either money or food by four different individuals between parking the car and arriving at the clinic. That can be rather put-offing.The entry is unremarkable to the clinic. So unremarkable that it is easy to pass by.On entering, there is a desk where you pay up front for services, $250, for our visit. Then there is a large waiting area. We were the only ones there on this day initially. We were there for 3.5 hours.

Fernanda Martins Rodrigues: 10/10!!My husband came in with a knee injury. Dr. Itoro Obot and the entire staff (April, Vicky, and others) were seriously great. My husband does not speak any english and everyone was extremely kind, understanding, and made sure he was properly taken care of. Dr. Obot went above and beyond to make sure his pain was relieved and his condition was resolved to the best of her ability. We are truly thankful and would recommend this facility and Dr. Obot to anyone in need.

They collected all of my info and didn't tell me they had run out of PCR tests...until I was sitting in the chair in the back ready for them to swab my nose for a regular rapid test. I could have done that at home on my own.They charged $250 for this.

Vincent Nania: I took my son there for a physical exam. I was told it is $ 35. I paid it at the counter. We were the only people there, but they would not let us in. Waited for 2 hours. By that time it was full of people, and they still would not let us in. Really bad experience. On top of that, they are sending me a bill now for doctor's visit, because my insurance does not pay for physical exams. As I mentioned before they told me it will be $35 cash and that's it. It was school physical exam. I went there and told them about the bill. They said that it will be taking care of. But this month I got that bill again.

Shannon Okain: Went there last Friday for sun allergy and toothache. I was prescribed prednisone, eczema ointment and lidocaine. I asked if I would get an antibiotic for the tooth. My dental appointment wasn’t until 4/24. I called Monday morning to let them know that the lidocaine was not working, the pain is worse. I was told that they would send ibuprofen to my pharmacy but I have to go to the dentist for an antibiotic. I’m still waiting on them to send the ibuprofen to the pharmacy and it’s Tuesday 🙄
T T: Went in for an issue dr made recommendations but didn't bother with x-rays. He also explained that I could be at risk for a blood clots but bc my skin Is darker he couldn't see my veins. That being said an xray or ultrasound was even more important. 6 days later ended up in the ER and I now know what was wrong and was properly treated.I tried to address this before posting to no avail. I also plan on contacting my insurance provider to let them know of the experience.I 100% don't recommend them. 1st and last time for me.Update/response to owner: I already did a contact me form. That was my first attempt before ever leaving a review. Your people dropped the ball.

Erica Losito: I went in for a sinus infection and was in and out within an hour. I know there are reviews that mention long waits when no one appears to be there but honestly I don’t think these people have ever been to an urgent care before! Typically, UCs have very long waits and SLMP was much faster for me. Their online check in questionnaire is long but it asked all the pertinent medical questions needed for care. I think now that I’m on file the next visit will be easier. Dr. Salama was very kind, listened to me, and gave meds with no issues. Personally this is faster and easier than a TACU or Mercy UC Center with equivalent care!
Rafael Alegria: Working with Taylor up at the front was a Terrible experience. She got very upset when I asked if there was another option for a covid test. Lied to me several times. That women should be fired for acting that way.

Just know that they will get down to the bottom of whatever you're dealing with and treat with precision. You'll have to just see.. I brought my daughter here because she hurt her hand at school there was literally no patients and we stayed here an hour when I told him my concern and why there was nobody in the office being seen they became very rude. When I walked out to complain the doctor was in the back laughing and doing nothing at all with no patients there. When I asked if that was the doctor they said yes they did not care about my business which is why they probably don’t have any customers I would stay away from this place they did not care about me and the staff seemed very lazy and confused.See the response below--- to my complaint. Just so that EVERYONE knows...there was NOONE else there. I came out of the room and the doctor was doing NOTHING. When I got there, there was 1 patient. I seen her leave. When the doctor was laughing and sitting for a very long time (30 minutes) I finally came out and the 2 people at the desk that were doing NOTHING seemed confused that he had not seen us yet. I am a medical provider MYSELF and would NEVER treat my patients like that. COVID excuses!!!! ...Honestly it felt like a Walmart clinic...no class. A room FULL OF NOONE and we waited an hour. I even sat in the parking lot after for a bit...still noone and 0 cars in the parking lot. Great way to respond to my complaint. STAY AWAY EVERYONE, there are much better providers elsewhere.
Charlotte Grider: If you really need medical treatment, do not go to this place. The checkin process on their website (bring your well charged smartphone for it) takes forever. The form malfunctions in a number of places and does not allow responses that do not fit its choices. In some places, you answer the question, and it still insists that you didn't. If you are really sick, this will not feel good. I was experiencing shortness of breath and had to sit there in a mask, fussing with this thing. For over half an hour.The doctor was obviously not interested in providing a proper diagnosis and care. He wanted to just stand there and ask all the same questions I had already answered. I told them my blood sugar was low and that I needed to eat something (called the desk while I was filling out the form). They did not seem to give a care. I did get a cup of water. The doctor was rude and uncaring. Absolutely not interested in providing proper care. I almost have to wonder if he is a real doctor or if it is just a role he was playing. There was nothing proper about his demeanor, tone, manner of asking questions,or even listening to my lungs. I asked for my money back and left. This is NOT a place to go if you are sick or in pain. I was there for an hour, and all I got was more grief for my trouble.They also have a "possible covid waiting area." If you have covid symptoms but do not yet have covid, you might by the time you leave. Some facilities allow people to wait in their vehicles. That seems to make more sense.It took all the energy I had to get up and get there for my appointment. I am sick and need healthcare. This is not the place to get it.I told them when I made the appointment that I had had two negative covid tests. I think the covid screening questionaire might also have asked about it. Those questions were not on the website form. Doctor launched into a long-winded explanation of types of covid tests I interrupted and said already had. You didn't ask about that. He is like, "You didn't want to talk to me." It seems like some of the most important information that they needed. Why does everything have to be an argument? I am SICK. VERY SICK. I NEEDED A PROPER EXAM AND DIAGNOTICS. Symptoms vary with covid and how patients describe symptoms varies. He should have asked questions to get a proper description of what was happening and what treatment I had been given. They already had in their records the cough medicine prescribed by another urgent care for these same symptoms, but I guess the doctor didn't bother to look at my file. He had no sincere interest in providing proper care. None. And the excuses like we see in their responses to reviews were like the excuses they were making while I was there. Either a thing was beyond their control or it was my fault. He repeatedly said, "You didn't want to talk to me."I MIGHT HAVE COVID, AND A TEST IS A FINE IDEA. BUT A FIVE MINUTE LECTURE ABOUT TYPES OF TESTS WHEN I CANNOT BREATHE IS NOT, AND A CHEST X-RAY IS DEFINITELY IN ORDER, SINCE I HAVE BEEN SICK FOR TWO WEEKS. But Dr. Salama was not interested in diagnosing the problem. He was more into something along the lines of gaslighting.Some places in St. Louis operate on a political differential. This might be one of them. (The name kind-of hints at it, but I thought, surely not.)I apologize for the disorganized nature of this review. I am still sick and not thinking in as clearly as I normally do. Had to go ahead and write the review anyway. This place is toxic.

Make sure you bring your own mask, they don’t have extras so you have to go somewhere else, buy a mask & come back. nicole kekich: Do NOT go to this urgent care!!!!! They are awful!!! Charging for xrays that they couldn't even upload to a disk. Staff is slow as molasses with no urgency whatsoever! I talked with the office manager about not charging for the no xray disc they provided...they never even showed us the images!! And of course they have to charge because they took the xrays...hmm but did they?!?! Also let the office manager know there were multiple bugs crawling on the wall and floor in the exam room and she said that was a different issue! Lol your dang right it is...bugs in an urgent care. After nine days I called this office to say that I was still sick and I asked if the doctor could give me another medicine.I called three times on November 19 th and twice on November 20th. Shavette Wayne: Although this area is in desperate need to keep resourceful services in the area, providers shouldn’t take these patients for granted simply because they feel people can’t do any better. I patronized this facility because I wanted to support the urgent care in this underserved area. My health insurance affords me to take my business anywhere. They have you to complete all of these forms asking for allergies and etc. I wrote I was allergic to NSAIDS. So what did the doctor call in and prescribe me…ibuprofen (NSAIDS)! This is what I mean about not putting forth more care in your patients oppose to assembly lining them through the process. I was disappointed for sure. I would not have him treat my dog if i had one. I'm not sure what kind of establishment he's over there running. How are people going to him for help & he's being very rude & maybe not all but my experience was not an pleasant one at all. I chose to go to Total Access the next day and I'm so glad I did. Finding an appointment on the website was easy. I was seen within a short and reasonable time after I was asked to arrive. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The tech or physician assistant (whatever his title was) that took my vitals and preliminary info was patient and empathetic. The doctor I eventual saw was no-nonsense but still warm. She listened and related. She offered a plan and a possible solution. I left feeling like my voice had been heard and my needs had been met. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

We came in for Covid tests to travel & the young woman at the desk looked up the country’s embassy website & double-checked requirements for us to make sure they did the correct test! Above & beyond all the way - cannot recommend highly enough. Even if you’re just in for a test like this, they check blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels - made us feel looked after.

Tiffany Bush: Nearly every experience we’ve ever had here has been absolutely amazing, which is why I’m still giving a five star review. One of my older children had to go in recently. We chose this location as it is trusted and always a very pleasant and speedy interaction. Even the time we were sent to the hospital, they were so fast with tests and informative and caring and eliminated hours that would have been otherwise spent in the emergency room. My child was stable when we went in, and, paying out of pocket, as her insurance was not accepted. The NP asked her twice in a row, a bit condescendingly, kind of shaking her head and lightly waving her hands, why she didn’t just go to the hospital. We were both kind of speechless. And, maybe she was having an off day. But, it’s an unnecessary question, that’s only purpose seemed to just be to reduce her a little. What was the answer she was looking for? And, how was the relevance of any answer going to aid in her treatment? We came there because it’s close and safe and trusted, and she was not in an extreme medical emergency. We just needed to make sure her vitals were stable and that she wasn’t in any immediate danger. People come sick, and scared, and sometimes feeling very helpless, and sometimes alone, with no one to tell them that on occasion, people that we trust with very important jobs say dumb things to attempt to make us feel bad for whatever additional superiority they may need to feel that day. Very few medical professionals do this, and this really is a great location where everyone goes above and beyond, from the reception on. We will absolutely still go. Everyone else was amazing, and the NP still did her job efficiently. She just might need some better bedside manner.

She got me diagnosed and sent me home with a bunch of stuff. It’s only a day later, and I’m already feeling a little better! She even gave me tips on how to prevent underarm abscess that I tend to get fairly often. Seriously, above and beyond!

Vicky: My mom is 75 years old. She been having pain on her head and half side of her cheek bone & jawline. I took my mom here for a check up. We check in and wait in the lobby. One of the doctor or nurse I don’t remember her name but she was wearing a white coat. She comes up to us and ask only one question repeatedly “Is she having the worst headache of her life? If she is then she should go to a hospital. They haven’t diagnose my mom yet and that is only question she ask. Her attitude was like she didnt want to treat my mom. Really horrible!!
J.R. Horrall: DO NOT VISIT THIS URGENT CARE! My son, daughter, and wife all visited in Jan 2023 for flu symptoms. Very routine visit, got prescriptions and left. We then received bills totaling $1500, for an Urgent Care Visit which is normally $40-$100 out of pocket after insurance. After going round and round with the facility and my insurance company it was discovered that they coded the visits as ER VISITS because they "could do it that way". My wife visited a different Urgent Care a couple weeks later and it was $40 after insurance. As far as I am concerned this is 100% INSURANCE FRAUD! Do not visit this facility even if you work for a major corporation and have excellent health insurance, they will screw you out of unnecessary expenses!!!!!!
Samantha Dilbeck: My mom took my younger sister here within the past few days. The doctor Karen did an x-ray on my sister to find out why she kept coughing and to find out what was going on. She had her Covid tested but do not believe she tested for Strep or Flu which should have been done to rule out those as well. She came back and told my mom and sister that it was just allergies and prescribed tessalon perles and nasacort and something else that wasn't even covered by insurance (the tessalon was covered thankfully). My mom said Karen had attitude and when I went to this Urgent Care she was a bit condescending as well when I had went last year in 2022. I haven't gone back since and am not suprrised that my mom and sister had the same experience. We won't go there anymore and will find a different urgent care but iit gets better. My sister went to her pediatrician for a follow up visit and she actually has a sinus infection and it wasn't allergies. So thank you Karen for the wrong diagnosis and sending her on her way and chalking it all up to just allergies. Go to a different Urgent Care, this one isn't it. Not worth it going here. Not everything is always allergies, in this case was a sinus infection.

Esmedina Patkovic: From the reviews of this place- it’s evident that more than just an automated system explaining that you are sorry for people’s experience is needed… scheduled an appointment for a simple strep test…. 1:40 … as you all already know there was no greeting … lady was on the phone and it was evident that she did not want to be there … waited from 1:40 -2:20… place was fairly empty . There was another gentleman there who arrived after me. Either they forgot about me or they helped the gentleman who came after me, but I was never seen by a doctor.. the results were never communicated until I was about to leave and one of the front ladies told me the results needed to be read by the doctor (who never showed in the time I was there) … I had to get up and leave. 40 minutes for a strep test that was processed in 6 minutes ????and who knows how much longer as the doctor still was not around. Needless to say - I will never go back there. Love Mercy, but this place was a joke. TAU is just down the road :)

She just had me open my mouth no tongue depressor then said I had a viral virus. She did not check my ears or my nose. Two days latter I went to Total Access Urgent Care where they did COVID, flu, and strep test. The Doctor there checked my nose, throat and ears. I had an ear infection which she prescribed Amoxicillin.

Jerry Palmer: I went into Go Health urgent care in Oakville last night at 7:25PM while holding washcloth on my head and bleeding down my face. I had a big cut on my head that needed attention. It was very visible yet when I walked into the door Dr. Lickenbrock told me they are not accepting patients any longer. Mind you they close at 8 and I was there well before 8pm. I didn’t think anything about it until the urgent care down the street ( total access ) which they are amazing… told me they can’t and should never turn you away or deny services (especially someone needing 5 staples. I am filing a formal complaint as well.

Austin Raithel: I went in for ear pain and a sore throat a few months ago. I was seen pretty quickly and got a strep test which was negative. I told them I think I have an ear infection but the nurse said that my ear “was not that bad”. I could not sleep well due to the pain and missed a day of work the next day. Went to a different urgent care and they said I had a progressed ear infection and immediately gave me a steroid which stopped the pain and ringing in my ear. Worst experience at an urgent care and highest cost after insurance. Will never go to a mercy urgent care again.
Anela Barbanell: I walked in at 7:20pm asking them to see my 8 year old, who was saying his ear was hurting. Both front desk ladies said we are done for today with walkins. And, completely didn’t care one bit that he was standing there crying in paid. Given it was almost 7:30pm, I called Total Access just down the street. Destiny asked me how old my child was and said yea come on down, I’d hate for you to drive to ER you’ll stay there for hours on a school night. They have a customer for as long as we live in Oakville. Mercy UC location couldn’t have cared less.
Tara Danielle: The provider was quite condescending to me when I merely asked her to look at my daughter's ears during an appointment at Go Health urgent care in Oakville. My son and I already had appointments, she made this big deal out of looking at her ears, she got all flustered saying "we have to register her and you are cutting in front of other people in line". She was really rude. I'll never go back. I'm a nurse, if I had an otoscope I could easily do it myself. And to suggest that I was purposely asking her this to cut the line, she wasn't sick enough to need an entire assessment. All she had to say was no I'm sorry I cannot. Instead she got all bent out of shape about a small request and shamed me for even asking. Then of course, they forgot to upload the results of our covid/flu swabs to mymercy or into the record, so insurance is all messed up and, I'm still getting bills from the visit when the office manager stated it would be taken care of. Long story short I would not recommend the doctor at this location and also would not recommend the go health urgent care in Oakville, the one in Maplewood was leagues better. Maplewood gohealth is what informed me that the COVID swabs are covered 100% under my insurance, and that I would not receive a copay. I'm still fighting this bill that they continue to send me even though they messed up by not putting the results into the chart. Both my son and I were tested for COVID but because he was diagnosed with a sinus infection and not as PUI for COVID and there are no results in the chart they are trying to charge me for a $50 copay on his account but not mine because I was PUI for COVID even though they failed to upload the results on both of us. All around a bad experience.
