I was told to call to identify myself which I did but still issue on file and then I was told to come into the unemployment office but there’s no office and they know that so I called and verified myself again but still issue on file and it’s been a month already and I got all these weeks going unapproved

Bill Delehanty: What a joke I filed on September 13 of 2020 and here it is the middle of October and I still have not received a check. The website is a total joke. Spending 30 minutes on the phone just to try to get to a human being and then scheduling for a callback to only be hung up on this is a disgrace. This is unacceptable. I have officially given up trying to receive the benefits I am supposed to receive because I’m convinced they don’t actually have people working here. Don’t waste your time, try to survive the pandemic without their help.I’ve been calling at least once a week since 5/27/20 because of incorrect denials on my benefits. I’ve tried to appeal and still haven’t been given an appeal date. I routinely wake up to call at 7:59 since that’s the only way to get through only to ALWAYS wait 3 hours until I’m immediately hung up on. Beyond frustrating.

No response.Called Wednesday, was quoted a 97 minute wait time. I was on hold for 4 hours before giving up.Called today and was on hold for 3 hours before giving up again.Get your act together and answer the damn phone!

I have no problem coming into talk to someone exceptfor I cannot even figure out where the actual unemployment office is! I have 3 children and its been a real struggle. Benjamin Kern: Same issue as everyone else. Hold lines constantly full. Was once on hold for 6 hrs and the line dropped after 2 minutes. This is incredibly infuriating and stressful.Also there's only one song for the hold line on repeat forever. Would it kill you to just put on the radio?

This shouldn't be a thing in the "greatest country in the world". The worst part is nobody really knows what's going on, is this malicious? Or just incidental? Or both?

I am 2 months behind on rent, not to mention I am completely out of food to feed my children. I have been working on my credit for years & now it is ruined from just 2 months. this is truly devastating. I cannot believe our government has failed us this miserably. why haven’t they sent help to these offices and treated this as the National emergency that it is. Stephanie Brown: The staff in this office is extremely slow. I needed to take a letter to a MO Job Center and show my ID. There was one person ahead of me. I sat there waiting for 2 hours while the stag walked around talking about ordering fried chicken for lunch and looking a menus from local restaurants. It's sad that people look for ways not to do work while at work.

I called 8 weeks ago because I couldn’t get a hold of anyone in the state UI office (imagine that), I spoke to a lovely receptionist who forwarded my info to a supervisor, who sent in an email to the State UI office to be contacted. It took 5 days for the state UI office to call me back, but the emails I sent on my own took over 2 weeks.I have had to call again because of an automatic error processing my weekly claim (State UI office’s phone wait lines were full, again, at 8:02am, IMAGINE THAT). I first called the south county office but they were completely closed. I then called this office and again, quick spoke to a live person who has again forwarded my info to her supervisor.Superior operation.Thank you.

Christina Singleton: I had been self employed for 11 plus years when COVID happened. I was denied any/all pandemic assistance from unemployment since April 2020. My appeal from September 2020 is still pending appeal and unemployment cannot give me any type of timeline regarding a decision or even appeal hearing at this time due to being "backed up". The staff at the Arnold Career Center gave me the options and answers that I needed.

E P: Call to speak to someone and gives you options to leave a msg ....then recording comes on to find out there's no room and mailbox is full ...ok. Then you get a chance to talk to somebody or an operator if you want to talk to the operator hit number 0 on your keypad as they say and there's no operator there to beat oxy right now they are busy goodbye click call back go to the same thing and now you want to see if you can talk to somebody else if you know the extension well I want to hear the options for the extensions and what they tell you is to put the person's last name in well that ain't going to help much when you don't know the person's last name or anybody out there it's working by their names so there's no way to leave any kind of a message whatsoever for anybody to contact you back and this is day after day after day now so now what am I supposed to do? the service is very poor and no possible way to get in touch with ANYONE !!!

Jessie Shoukry: Debbie is incredible, she is caring and compassionate for everyone’s individual circumstances. She is very knowledgeable on programs and assistant programs the job center offers. I would highly recommend anyone in the area swing by the job center for all career needs!

You are also able to attend workshops and seminars on topics such as resume preparation, interviewing skills, job searching, social media skills and networking. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a. m. to 4: 30 p.m. and Friday 9 a. m. to 4: 30 p. m.
