After SIX months on a wait list with one local Ford dealer who eventually said “drop it off and we’ll get to it when we get to it” and a second Ford dealer charging $300 for a diagnostic report on my 2017 Ford Raptor that only said “technician recommends replacing engine and transmission for $24K” Gary and his team quickly found the root cause, came up with a plan, and did the repairs at a fraction of the cost. My local repair shop recommended them to me to have a look at my transmission, and I thought "oh, boy, here we go .... " as I know transmission work is a bit of an art -- a view shared by my local shop ("we don't do THAT", lol). These folks are busy for a reason: they are great to deal with, straight-forward, courteous, communicate well -- and in a timely manner. And it turned out that my car didn't even NEED transmission work, which is exactly what they told me! Charlie and Roland acted like they had no idea and told me they were on before they started. Strange, they never mentioned them at all until i came back in and complalained. cheryl wittenauer: My truck broke down and started smoking in the middle of a busy traffic lane on north-bound Hampton Avenue during rush hour -- right outside the shop. Randall from the shop saw what had happened and came out and pushed my vehicle across the intersection and onto the shoulder -- and into safety --- as I waited for my Triple A tow truck driver to take my truck to the Toyota dealership. Randall came out to help me, unsolicited, without my even asking for help. He is a gentleman and a kind soul, and I really appreciate what this stranger did for me. Thank you!

Lucas A: My experience with Quality Transmission has been excellent. I’d been having transmission issues and it was determined, as I suspected, that I’d need a new transmission. I was prepared to be without a car for a several days but the shop was able to turn it around in under 48 hours. A few months later, an issue presented that caused a leak. These guys stand by their work! Over the phone and in person, they went above and beyond to be accommodating and honored their warranty without hesitation. Jonathan Shadis: I work for a transmission shop in Baldwin County Alabama, one of Gary's customers was down here for vacation and had an issue with a transmission he recently repaired. The issue with the transmission was a failure that could not have been predicted, simply a part failure. The technicians here at our shop complimented on how professional the installation of the transmission was performed with everything in place down to the last bolt and harness connection. After the issues were diagnosed Gary put the customer's needs first, took care of everything for the customer and we were able to get them back up and running smoothly and quickly. Gary's approach to an out of town repair and the quality of the work his shop performed speaks volumes. Doug S: Excellent business. I had an issue with the rebuilt transmission a little over a year after Quality put it in. Gary fixed it again even though we were over the warranty coverage mileage. Great, honest costumer service. Plus a cute little friendly dog is in the waiting area on some days.
Chris Dellinger: Never met a bigger con artist in my life. If you dont know how to work on a high end vehicle, just admit it like a man. Stick to Dodges and Chevys and nobody will fault you. Pull in with any European vehicle and charge $90 for your opinion? No thanks. Stop payment it is! Better Business Bureau will be notified of your threatening behavior and unscrupulous business tactics. Enjoy THAT business, friend.

Joseph Consiglio: Do not go anywhere else for transmission problems. Full stop. These guys have one goal: to make sure you are satisfied, at a very reasonable price. They went out of their way to get my vehicle in much sooner than anticipated, and completed the work for a price lower than they first quoted. They did not have to do that. Luke Z: If you are looking for a no BS shop that stands behind their work then this is the place for you, Dave and Corey did an awesome job on my wife's transmission in a very timely manner and kept me updated as they progressed. I went by the shop when they had everything apart and dave took the time to show me the bearing that came apart which is what he suspected it was when i told him the symptoms over the phone. The other shop wanted double what route 66 charged and kept telling me they had no clue what the issue was. Thanks dave for getting me out of there! Beau boy: While visiting St Louis from Tennessee with friends for a memorial service my 2014 Fiat 500L 6speed manual transmission suddenly developed an issue. Mike and his crew managed to successfully diagnose and fix the problem in one day and had us back on the road. The problem was a walnut which was lodged in the gear shift. An unscrupulous mechanic could have taken advantage of the situation. Mike handled professionally and honestly charging only a reasonable fee for the labor. He and his team are capable trustworthy. My only requirement was patience which many seem to be in short supply of these days. Mike said it was the "nuttiest" thing he'd ever seen!Thank you, Mike and crew!!!Bruce Watson

victoria ward: I would have rated this place five stars prior to the owner Mike assaulting my fiance because he questioned him about the charges for work that was never done. The total was around $300 dollars, but the car never made its way into the garage. It remained outside on their parking lot the whole time. I know this because I live two blocks away. Everyday I went past the.shop the car was still sitting in the same spot. Mike is TOO OLD to initiate a shoving match because someone asks you to expalin the charges. He also throws the keys across the lot. He should be charged with assault for putting his hands on a customer. Correction a former customer.
