They were very responsive and the coordinator followed up with several calls to make sure the driver had made contact with me. The driver was there quickly. The only disappointing part was the price which I thought was high at $300. I haven’t paid that much for a tow in STL before.

krissy ludwinski: Tow me St. Louis & Gotcha St. Louis are also associated with other scam towers, one such known as Chauncey's. My son's car was illegally towed by tow truck labeled "Chauncey's" on Friday at 11:30pm. We made multiple calls, left voicemails, sent texts all to the same telephone number listed on "Chauncey'" site, throughout the weekend, to not get any response. We were attempting to get answers on where to pick it up, when we could pick it up, how to pick it up, wht forms of payment were needed, etc. Only to be told AFTER 3 LONG DAYS the car would be at 5735 Fee Fee and bring $625 cash ONLY. Almost IMMEDIATELY after finally giving us address (on Day 3) the man told us he was there waiting but couldn't wait all day and it would be $75 more per day if we missed him?? I told him we had to drive there as he JUST gave us the address. *********Public should know this****** When a vehicle gets towed, it is, by law, required to have VIN placed into database which was NEVER DONE by this company. After dealing with police officers and local tow companies, finally found out that a random tow "company" (aka 1 man with a tow truck) took the vehicle unlawfully, he never submitted the vin, . After showing up and waiting at the address (car was not even in the lot), the tow man showed up an hour later. When he FINALLY showed up, police questioned him as to why the VIN was not submitted, he simply said "he must have accidentally sent the fax to the wrong police number."This is a scam of 1 man who takes vehicles illegally. Law enforcement already guided us on how to handle this activity. We consulted a lawyer , contacted Fox 2 News and will not stop until this fraud has been dealt with accordingly.

The tow truck driver arrived in 30 minutes and safely towed the car to the requested gas station to put air in the tires. Shani Karma: Asset towing illegally towed my car and charged me for two days storage fees and it was less than 24 hours since the tow. They also charged more than the maximum amount on their sign. I had full permission to be on the lot that they towed my vehicle from. They were extremely rude on the phone. They were very shady and they had illegal scouts on the lot. I hope karma takes care of them for overcharging and scouting people who have every right to use the lot. They said multiple lies on the phone including telling me that I had an appointment to pick up my vehicle at a given time when in actuality the time they gave me is when they close. Matt Clark: So I have used Hartman's before in the past and already knew that they were good. But your guy's driver Quincy went above and beyond his duties today. My truck was broke down at a customer of mine's house who I was remodeling the bathrooms four. They have a toddler son who loves anything to do with big trucks. Quincy not only one over there and got my truck no problem but he also spent time to let the kid get a picture with his dad in front of the truck and see how the truck worked which is amazing to me. Not to mention when he got it here he was able to get it into a tight spot no problem. I would recommend these guys to anyone in town especially considering their prices are better. Two other places that I won't mention wanted to charge me about $100 more for the same service. It's nice to know there's still some quality businesses out there keep up the good work guys!
Michael Davis: They towed my car and ripped out the rear cradle. After that wrote up a ticket saying my car excessive rust. They hooked up to something that wasn't even durable. Who fault is it?????. I'm sure they have towed cars way ruster than mine. I have pictures. They are careless

After pursuing the matter with my insurance and the better business bureau they declined to pay for the repair because “they weren’t responsible for items left in car.” This was damage done to the vehicle Not the interior. You stated you wouldn’t repair the damage because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I’ll continue to pursue reimbursement of damages.

Stacy Petty: I was stranded in a vacant parking lot because the alternator went out on my car. I needed to have the car towed exactly 8.4 miles home. On my initial call to this company I was told a set cash price for the tow. The tow truck driver that was in route to me wasn't very good with directions but he did eventually make it to my location. My car was loaded on his flatbed and ready to go. At this point I am told a different cash price that was more than double the amount I was told on the phone. He also now informs me no one can ride with him in the front seat. I had him drop the car back down. This is an awful thing to do to someone and you absolutely do NOT conduct business this way. I will be calling the BBB to report this company's deceptive business practices. I would steer clear of this shady business.Service:Car towing

Lucinda Hamilton: They charge $100 to tow our car to the city impound lot after an accident. Then, it's $25 a day until you get your car out or have it towed to salvage yard. Whoever towed our car ate our pizza we just picked up before the accident. No word of paying for the pizza when we got our car out. Added insult to our injuries.

Tayler Bertelsman: Awful experience. My car was stolen, crashed, and towed to City Tow. I went up the same day it was taken there and signed the paperwork and took pictures of my vehicle. It took over an hour and a half just to do that, mostly outside on a cold winter evening. They told me my insurance could pick it up whenever.14 days later, and they still refuse to release it to insurance. It has been racking up outrageous fees each day. They give a different story each time me or the insurance adjuster call. I just want to move on after this horrible event. City Tow is making that really difficult.

I didn’t go to the hospital woke up the very next day to go get my belongings out the white guy up front rude as ever! But long story short they haven’t had my car for a full 8hrs and I had stuff missing from my car. These people are savage yo after dealing with maybe two people I’ve found out why he’s so grumpy cause his mom died. Which I can understand but why come to work? Take off time or go in the yard or somewhere away from customers! I felt for him but how rude he was I didn’t! Sorry but not sorry. At the end of the days it’s a business not run on feelings and what piece of paper work u want and not need!
