I got to ask a couple questions which weren't answered, when the staff told me that they needed to do a few things and just ignored me and started making phone calls and talking about watching tennis later. I'll be looking elsewhere for getting my racquets restrung and a replacement for my broken racquet.
MMMcrafter: I was surprised by how fair the prices were here for the equipment I was looking for. I was thinking things would be a bit overpriced since there are barely any tennis and pickleball stores around and because the store located in Frontenac, but no everything was going for the same or even slightly lower prices than buying online.Besides these good prices they also let you test the equipment (with the grip) which gave me a good idea of the product I wanted to buy. Overall I would highly recommend this store for any tennis or pickleball equipment purchases.

Kevin S: Saw all the great reviews so decided that I would try them on restringing two tennis rackets. The staff was very friendly with an immediate greeting when I walked in the door. They turned the rackets around in about 4 hours and gave me a call when they were done. It was $30 per racket restring so that was reasonable. One small negative, I did see a few new scratches/chips on both rackets but nothing that looked like it would affect the play of the racket. Parking can be a little bit of challenge. I would recommend them.

I recently decided to upgrade from my old Prince racquet and Jim provided three demos, one of which I liked which is a Wilson Clash 108. He guided me to string the main with gut and cross with synthetic, all at 52 Lbs, to be easier on my tender old elbow, and it works great.
Bob Bono: Racket man ordered a Wilson tennis bag for me and I went to go pick it up and they charged $119 with tax when I got home they had their price tag on it as $79 when I went to call them they told me that there’s nothing that they can do because the online price is 109+ tax and I said but they put their own price tag on it of 79 and now they won’t make good on the difference I think it is a bait and switch I will never shop there again .

William Lam: Bought a refurbished slinger bag ball machine. It arrived four days in excellent condition. A small part was missing but it was mailed right away. Tested the machine and it worked fine. After one hour of playing, the battery was still near full. Happy with the product and the service.

Another clue about the quality of service provided is that some of the largest equipment manufacturers outsource their repair work to Tennis Machines - and it is no mystery why: the owner and his employees are straightforward, honest people who know all there is to know about this niche corner of the world!
Peter Urkedal: The most extensive knowledge about stringing machines anywhere! Tennis machines have massive selection, and are the only ones that can help you for sure when you have a problem. If you are a stronger, downtime is your enemy. These guys get you up and running again faster if you have problems.
Joey Gao: Absolutely fantastic and professional service. I needed my racket restrung quickly so I called and brought my racket in and they restrung it right in front of me within the half hour. With my own string it only costed $15, which is the lowest you'll find around the area. They even threw in an over grip for free afterwards. They're conveniently located close to SLU and WashU, so they'll be my go-to place from now on.

Bob H: I was there on 9/14 at 11:25am. Several employees throughout the store offered help as I shopped- very nice! When I got up to check out at the registers, there was one register open, and the gentleman behind it was having some sort of issues waiting on a lady. Our line grew to five people, at which time the cashier went and found someone to come up and deal with the issue. After waiting about three minutes, with no other cashiers in sight, I left my items on the counter, and left the store. I don’t get it. Lots of employees, but only one cashier. I’m sure I will not return to that store.

When it went on sale, as a Labor Day Special, they were flying off the shelves and I couldn't find one within a 100 mile radius. I happened to call and check at the store closest to me. Steve's team just had two delivered. There were several complications which made it not an easy process (it was kind of unbelievable and comical, in fact) but they still made sure I got one. I used up a lot of their time yet they were so accommodating and nice! They even loaded that heavy thing up in my car for me and wouldn't even accept my offer to buy them lunch. Michael Kenyon: Visiting a friend in St Louis and down the street was this iconic park in the heart of the city. I borrowed a bicycle and made my way to the tennis courts located on the far side of the park. Upon arrival I found pickleball courts and a fine group of St. Louisans to play a few games with.

Called a couple of times after my reservation to see if I can get issued a refund or reschedule. After more than a month of trying to call them they finally returned my call once the season is over telling me that I can only use my credit for this calendar year (which is over now lol) and that they do not issue refunds, which is not stated on their website. Very poor service and communication. I will definitely recommend everyone stay away from this place.

Ed Loeffelman: First time customer but unfortunately I wasn't too happy with the trade in value on what was essentially a brand new item. I proceeded with the trade in deal on a used golf club regardless because my time was more valuable to me spent elsewhere than bickering over a more reasonable dollar value. Just got the sense they bargained low on my trade in and will wind up reselling as though it's new. All in all, didn't feel like it was a fair deal!!
Joseph Novel: Great selection of disc golf brands & usually can find some great used gems as well. Great staff with very fast and friendly service. Highly recommend.
J Gates: This location is packed with items across the sporting board. Weights, football, basketball, golf, baseball, Lacrosse and soccer as well as hockey and more.
Daniel Jacobsen: Play it again sports is an awesome place to buy sports equipment! The staff is so helpful and will even repair things like baseball gloves. You can trade old equipment to them for money to be used for other purchases. A great sports store all around!
Missy Cates: Ryan was super knowledgeable about hockey gear fit and was very professional. So we bought the whole set here. Skates, pads, helmet, gloves etc.
Daniel Barnes: For a resale place the prices are comparable to new! So I would choose new.
