Caleigh Hampton: I’ve been a member of Palm Beach ever since high school and I am almost 30 now, if that shows my loyalty. I will sometimes freeze my membership and rack up points that eventually get me perks or products. I had a great experience today with the GM today at the Hampton location. She was very informative and helpful with getting me the best perk for what I was wanting. I appreciate the facility always being clean and efficient. Probably my favorite tanning spot in stl.Service:Tanning

kaley hubbard: Had to come edit a past review I posted as they are back to their usual post-covid hours. I have been to many different PBT locations and this is by far my favorite. Even though it isn’t the closest to my house, I always prefer to go here. The staff is always quick and friendly, and most of the ones who are there all the time know my name and have me pulled up in the system as soon as I walk in. It’s always clean, always smells good, and they are never too pushy with trying to upsell product but do always make sure to tell you what promotions they have going on.

Tiffany: This place has mastered the tan game. I’ve done it all over the last few decades from stand up and lay down sessions to spray tans being a personal fave. Chose not only your level of dark, scent and crystal add on (jade and amethyst with dark and a sunshine scent for me) leaves you looking as if you put self care where it should be at the top of to do list. 10 min in total and I feel, look and smell like I expect attention and I do. No matter where you travel your membership will go with you. I bet there a Palm Beach Tan near you!

Haley Whitehead: The business it's self is not horrible. Usually always have a cheerful hello and the girls are usually happy to help. Its clean to my standards and I've got high cleaning standards.. However, these hours are not making any sense to a more than understanding and laid back patron. The store used to be open until 9pm, awesome. Then 8pm. Okay I can swing that. And now 7 pm as of a few weeks ago. Okay we're really gonna have to plan to make it. But I got here tonight at 630 after rushing from work to get here since I now only have a 45 minute window to get in here to tan since they open at 11am..... and the shop is CLOSED??? Seriously? I feel as if I can't even get use of my membership I pay monthly for with these hours. And I've been told I can't tan if I get there past 645 before (while they are still open). I'm not sure what to do but I feel jipped. Please, do better for the sake of your paying customers. Pay your employees more, offer benefits to them (dinner, a free product, something anything) to help motivate employees and future hires. Do whatever is necessary to staff your store. I understand staffing being an issue here. But my money is wasted and unused due to these new store hours continously decreasing. Not what I signed up for.

Tara Anderson: I've been a member at the Hampton location since early 2000's. However, I'm rethinking my membership in the last month I've been there 4 times and they've been closed during business hours. Today there were 3 other people there standing at the closed doors upset because we all drove there to tan and they were closed. I pay monthly for my membership however they've adjusted their hours so I've adjusted mine. Now they don't even open during business hours that are new. If you are thinking about going here is suggest finding a more reliable place.

Tina Rinehart: I was a diamond member at the BRIDGETON location, I have not been for almost a year now. Decided to go ahead and give it a try again even though my last experience was more headache than relaxing. I walked in the evening of 5/11. I was not greeted and I had to stand there for a good five minutes before being acknowledged. I let the woman at the counter know that I was there to sign back up at the level that I was before. I did have some questions about the emails that I was receiving about specials and what would apply to my specific circumstance. she said she didn’t know, I do believe that she was probably relatively new. I fully expected her to contact her manager to assist me and my membership. She did not she just looked at me and I asked her Can you reach out to your manager? She instructed me “no” with an attitude, and told me I could come back tomorrow. This will be the exact reason why I will drive farther that I actually wanted to spend my money, to an establishment that has customer service skills. I do believe if in fact she was new maybe she was not trained correctly, but that does not excuse the fact that she was rude and did not wanna help me. A business needs a new business to grow, this was exactly the opposite. I am truly disappointed.

Cici: I used to love this place but they slowly started becoming more sneaky in their pricing and restrictions and at the same time less knowledgeable. The last girl I asked questions regarding the best method to obtain a tan since I hadn’t been in a while seemed confused and unsure. Then I bought two spray tans and they never told me I couldn’t gift either of them until I have one to my mom and they wouldn’t let her use it. So then I call later to use them and they couldn’t find them, then say I only had 45 days to use them, then when I say I paid for each of them separately, not for a period of unlimited, (is that even a thing?! I don’t think that exists with spray tans) they say they expire after a year then. Not transparent, not honest, not knowledgeable and not really as affordable as they used to be either. No longer a fan of this place unfortunately.Service:Tanning

Cara Mazzola: Just visited the Hampton location for the first time in 2+ years and had a really great experience! I haven’t run an errand for myself since COVID and having 2 babies and was a little off today but Denae, Emma, and Madison were super friendly and helpful. I was tempted to go grab them a coffee afterwards but hopefully this shout out will suffice.

It was my first time and I didn't want to end up looking orange or spotty like so spray tan many horror stories turn out, but Danielle was so professional and knew exactly what she was doing. She made me feel completely comfortable and did a great job of explaining the process as well as how best to care for the tan afterwards. I got so many compliments on it and how natural it looked! Jennifer Derda: I love my tan! I am naturally pale so typically I have to be careful with fake tanning due to it looking orange. However that is not the case with the tan I received from Danielle at O.C. Tan 2 U. My tan is very natural and streak free. Even in natural light it looks amazing.I was nervous about the process because although I didnt want tanning lines I was afraid to go nude. However Danielle made me feel very comfortable and at ease. They have different products to use to make you feel better. For example disposable underwear to cover your bits but leave barely noticeable lines.The salon itself is beautiful and clean. Very nicely designed and welcoming. I can't say enough about this amazing salon. I will definitely be going back!

Madison havel: I really like going here. Since all they do is custom spray tans I think they’re the best in the area. I also like that if you have any skin that you want sprayed differently they work with you to get the results you want. I’ll definitely continue to go here.

Anna Holyan: I hadn't had a spray tan in many years and was a little nervous to get one before my wedding. O.C. Tan 2 U was recommended to me and it didn't disappoint! Danielle made me feel totally comfortable and explained the necessary after-care thoroughly. My tan looks great- very natural and not too dark. The shop is really cute inside, too. I will definitely be back for a honeymoon spray tan in a few months!

Crystal Lee: I would have given this place a higher rating; the owner had so much helpful information on how to care and maintain for a sunless tan, and I was very excited. The tan was applied very evenly and there was no streaks. The problem was the tanning solution. I know sunless tans leave your skin sticky, but this was really bad. I also thought the color I achieved was on the orangey side. She told me it would fade naturally, but it's not and I have that scaly look that I'd get with a mystic. Maybe my skin just sucks? She also wiped the solution off of my hands and feet instead of using a barrier cream. Tan arm, white hand. So it ended up looking a little goofy (I was probably the only one who noticed) in the photos I had taken.

Kimberly Teague: I normally build a dark tan pretty fast but for some reason I barely get any darker when I have used their beds? I've bought different lotions from there , tried all of their beds, and I still haven't gotten the results I usually have elsewhere. The only time I seen a significant difference was when I used their spray tan, which only lasts 3 days max. I do think that their monthly pricing is Affordable and decent but at the same time it is pointless if you're not getting any tanning results I wish I could give this a better review but this is the experience that I've had and I've tanned about 4 months straight with them using their monthly membership and had to freeze my account because I just was not getting anywhere with it

The expert helped me pick the right shade and gave her advice while not being forceful and it was wonderful! All week people had asked where I went on vacation. The facility was very nice as well and clean. Picture is an odd choice I realize but it shows the tan nicely. It's 100% spray tan.

Nicki Wilga: If your going to purchase a tanning package, I highly recommend doing it with Bronze Tan! They have 2 locations one in Clayton n one in Brentwood. They are knowledgeable and have the very best beds! Also if u pay for the whole year you will save a ton of money!!!! So there are 5 levels but for a level 4 membership which includes half off spray tans as well (only $15) they allow u to pay $300 for the year saving you approx $254!!! Almost half!! That’s a lot of savings!! I’ve never had another tanning location offer this as an option. The girls are kind and tolerant and the owner is 💯! Would give 6 stars if I could! I have had many spray tans done by different companies, there is one I go to that is close to my house but ALWAYS end up streaking and blotchy and so orange and the lady doesn’t seem to concerned about it when I mention it so I thought I would try something new. I drove an hour from my house to bronze tan and it was so worth the drive!! The girl that sprayed me was Alex and she was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable, she took her time spraying me to make sure my spray was perfect and asked me if I had any areas of concern. After my spray was over she assured me if I had any concerns at all to just call and they would fix it and to not hesitate to call. I definitely will be a returning customer, my tan looks amazing!!! Afterwards...she then gave me instructions for maintaining and getting longest lasting results. I purchased Norvell PH Balancing Shower Cleanser(because it's moisture rich) & Nësoi Catwalk Sunstyle Daily Moisturizer. As of today its a week & a day since having it done & I still have a tan. The products definitely extend the lasting effects. Also Ali who checked me out was super friendly & gave me great shopping recommendations...since I was only in town for the weekend. I would definitelyrecommend this place for a spray tan.

Erin Lowry: I have a been a member for at least two years, if not three. As long as I live in STL, this is where I will go. The staff goes above and beyond. Every question I have ever had has been answered thoroughly. If I am wanting to obtain certain results, they have guided me. The facility is always immaculately clean. They have been so accommodating. If an issue arose, with billing for instance, it had been dealt with as soon as I brought it to their attention. I started a membership for the red light therapy; in hopes it would help with depression. Its not a cure all but when I have a time lapse of not using it, it becomes noticeable just how much I have benefited from it. I’ve noticed scars healing quicker, less acne, and cellulite smoothing out. I also love having my own personal sauna. They are very informative of their products and deals, but I have never felt pressured to purchase. I’ve moved a lot over the years and have tired many different tanning companies. Most of the time I have cancelled my membership within a few months due so many things… feeling out of place, bad advice that left my skin burnt, false advertising, feeling super pressured to buy things, or questionable cleanliness. I have never had a doubt with Fit N Tan. Love this location! I highly recommend it.

john meller: DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!!I joined on August 15, 2022 for the one month package price of $69.99 which came to $82.49 with tax? The woman who signed me up told me that I could cancel the package by the 1st if I wanted to and not pay another charge which are charged each month on the 15th. I decided today August 29, 2022 to cancel and was told I had to do it by text. I texted, they tried to talk me out of it a couple times, I said I definitely wanted to cancel and then they sent me a text saying one more charge of $76.99 would be drafted on September 15. I'm arguing back and forth with them but they say that everyone has to complete 2 billing cycles. This is NOT WHAT THEIR EMPLOYEE TOLD ME!!!Service:Tanning

Kelly Burns: Do not go to this business! I used their tanning bed one time in August of 2019 and they have been taking money out of my bank account without my authorization. You are required to pay in full before service is done, so if they get busy like they did while I was there they will stop in the middle of your service & have you waiting forever while they work on the next people so you obviously will have to wait since you’ve already paid in full. The lady who does nails actually did a great job, hence the 1 star. If you like poor quality service definitely come. Paid $228 for 2 short full sets 2 basic pedicures & 2 big toes with acrylic.. basically WE GOT GANKED .. my nails were cute tho!

Rachael Dewey: Last night I went to Tan and Beauty World in South St Louis, and Lana is the technician that worked on me and has always worked on me for almost 20 years since I've been going there and she's my favorite because she's so polite she's so professional and she takes the time to do her job right the first time and my nails are always come out looking elegant and like I've got them done at a way more expensive place than Tan and Beauty World but I went and got my nails done last night again and I asked her what seems she would think for New Year's Eve and she did my nails so cute and also she did my lashes again so I'm going to post a couple of those pictures on here and I just want to tell everybody to go to Tan and Beauty salon next time you need your nails done, tan or get your hair done, or a pedicure (not to mention they offer way more services)and ask for Lana she will become your favorite I can almost guarantee you that.

A R: It saddens me to leave this review because I loved this place and went there religiously. Unfortunately, they are just like every other corporation,they do not see you as a human being. I am not being dramatic when I say that they ruined my life.last time I went was the beginning of july...the day before I lost my job. Mind you, I had the most expensive package because I went so often. Of course, they have to take $75 out of your account monthly automatically. Which is fine under normal circumstances.Then I lost my job suddenly. Id get texts from the occasionally saying my payment was declined (obviously I was flat broke). Unfortunately i had more important things on my mind like paying rent and feeding my kids. So calling them and freezing my account just didn't cross my mind. I was reck. I just stopped going.Fast forward to September. I FINALLY get a job and I have enough money to cover rent and bills. But as fast as my paycheck went n my account they came in and took $225. I called, explaining that I know I had made a mistake by not freezing the account but I hadnt stepped in the place for months. And that this was going to cause my rent check to bounce and take all of my money to feed my kids. I was crying and shaking because I was just so upset. The girls I spoke to both times were nice, but could do nothing. Which is understandable. Both girls said they would have someone call me back to help and no one ever did. I dont think a phone call from whatever pompus person owns this place was too much to ask.Now...my rent check has bounced. I owe more fees than I will ever be able to pay. So im probably going to be evicted. True life :, me and my kids are in serious trouble. because of a tanning salon. I understand corporations policy but have some humanity. I, personally, have migrated to only air brush which requires the most interface and I’m always pleased with my artist. They’re professional but kind and always timely. Feels like a 5 star experience for a bargain. I started with a medium clear tint, per the spa consultant recommendation. I got an amazing and natural tan. The spa consultant walked me through the whole process from start to finish and recommended additional products she saw fit to help the tan go on smoothly and stay. I have since been back to go to a dark clear spray and still love the results. The rooms are always clean and sanitized and it’s usually not a long wait, if there is one, to get a room. Angela Ennis: I’ve been to 5 different palm beach locations and this location is by far my favorite. The girls here are above and beyond helpful. They actually tell me when I have earned rewards. I went to tesson location and was never once told of my rewards this location tells me every single time. And they give me tips and advice and always make me feel welcome. I work within walking distance of a PBT and I live within walking distance of another in Illinois and I will happily go out of my way to come to this location over all the others!!!

I switch locations all the time because one is close to my work and the other is close to home.I have decided to change my review from a three star to a one I was recently at Palm Beach Tan about maybe two months ago and had asked them to hold my account because the summertime is coming up and I was not going to be tanning and the girl said yes you’re all set! Then comes to show that they’ve been charging me for three months now, I have talk to the store manager ( Two days prior to their billing cycle I had called and asked to talk to the store manager and she is the girl at the desk said that she two days prior to their billing cycle I had called and asked to talk to the store manager and she the girl at the desk said she well call me the next day and the store manager never called me I called the following day and asked hey can I talk to the manager just trying to see what’s going on with my account and finally got a hold of her but it was past the billing cycle time but I had reached out way before it ) she pretty much said that she could not refund me the previous month that I was billed or the month before that and then she said that she will make sure that I do not get billed before the month of July however when I looked at my account I was charged for it and then when I had reached back out to her again and she said no I still can’t refund you that money and I am she will find out what’s going on and how she can refund it she never called me back I waited almost a week and then I called again and asked to speak to the general manager and she said that they will call me but I still have yet to receive a phone call it’s been almost a week I believe that they still have not canceled my account it’s upsetting because I’m getting charged 40 something dollars for something I’m not even using . Extremely unprofessional the way that they’re handling the matter because the communication is so bad .
