Dick Scharnhorst: We had dinner on Saturday April 15, 2023. That night there were terrible storms in the St. Louis area. The assistant manager Rob alerted everyone there of what would happen if tornado sirens blared. Sure enough they did. Rob usured us down to the parking garage along with other patrons of the Frontenac Mall. We stayed there until an all clear was given. Unfortunately, the sirens blared a second time. Throughout the whole ordeal, Rob kept us informed and remained very calm and pleasant. When the final all clear was given, he guided us back to the restaurant where we paid for our meal and thanked him for a memorable evening. His coolness and demeanor were extraordinary and he is to be commended for the way he handled the situation.

karen mccoy: I am on a restricted vegan whole food eating plan on medical advice. My order consisted of removing more than half the ingredients from the vegetable fajita entree. The waiter and the chef created a remarkable, delicious dish that helped me enjoy dinner with friends. Thanks again for your kindness and willingness to accommodate me. cynthia aleidan: Ate here today because it was the only restaurant in the mall that was open. WOW! What a fantastic experience. Not a big Mexican food fan. I ordered the Caesar salad with salmon. The chips n salsa were high quality with sweet potato chips mixed in. The salad was fresh and the salmon crispy. Plus, the Cards spring training game was on the tv at the bar. I think Im a convert. I'll be back for sure!

Jana Mcginty: Have been coming here for years and am so happy it continues to thrive. Most recent visit was before a movie, ( just walk up stairs!) and CC gets five stars. Our hostess was able to reserve a table for 6 which was nice as timing important to make a movie. Our gentleman server offered up the same happy hour specials available in the bar which prompted me to have a margarita and some amazing, very fresh and flavorful guacamole. Their chips are unique and even have some variety including a sweet potato chip and special chips for my pal with celiac. I had a bowl of the chicken chowder which was off the charts amazing. Pals had a variety of other tantalizing offerings and we all left full and happy. Separate checks no big deal and every one gets an after dinner chocolate wrapped in a tortilla. Well done Canyon Cafe team!
