He gave us all the information we were looking for and answered all of our questions during the research process. He even encouraged us to look at other spas (of all price ranges and both at Prestige and not at Prestige) before we returned to buy the Artesian Elite from the showroom. No pressure whatsoever! He also offered for us to make an appointment to do a soak test if we wanted to. When we chose to buy our spa, he helped us with the best deals and handled all of the delivery for us.We were supposed to get a year’s worth of chemicals with our purchase, which didn’t arrive when the spa did. One email to Paul, and not only did I not need to go pick it up, he had someone bring them to our house 39 miles away (approximately 45 minutes). Amazing customer service. They also do free water sampling.Our spa is fantastic and we feel even better knowing we have Prestige Pools & Spas helping us ensure we can take the best care of it for its lifetime. Highly recommend purchasing from them (especially Paul!).

Kmart: Our pool has been serviced by Prestige in the past yet I cannot get anyone to call me back about an inground liner install. We don't even need it until next season. I spoke with a very nice lady months ago about potentially getting on the calendar this year and we'd get a call back but it never happened. I've left messages and filled out the online contact form but haven't received a single response. We've found another company closer to us who is accepting new customers. I know times are tough right now and may never get back to where they were but this is excessive and has to be unsustainable for your business.

Paul Gill: Update: My deposit has now been returned. I filed a complaint with the BBB and I credit them for helping me resolve the issue.I have been trying since October 4th to obtain the return of our $20,000 deposit. We decided not to pursue a pool and we have simply not been able to get anything back from them. Pooltron did not begin any detailed drawings other than the high-level marketing ones to show us the concept. The bid for the project was very high and we did put a deposit down to hold a potential timeframe. However, we decided not to pursue the pool and we have been unable to obtain the return of any of the deposit. Lisa DeLorenzo: Horrible service! Was supposed to come out and fix a pool vac. Called in the morning and they said they could not give me an estimated time of arrival or even an a.m. or p.m. I waited 9 hours for them and they never showed. When I called, they said they came by but no one was home, which was a lie. The front door was open, and there was a note to ring the bell. I took off work and waited all day, and I have a dog that barks at everything. No music on so I could hear when someone arrive. They never came and lied about it. They also never called my cell phone which was with me the whole time. Not professional at all. Do not use.

The day before they called to reschedule, which is fine. However the estimator didn't show up at the new time and I got no call. Not a good way to earn business. If that's how hard it is to get an estimate from PoolTron, imagine what it's like after you fork over the money.Update: they did eventually show up 2 weeks later unannounced to assess the pool but they never submitted a quote.

Nicholas Schubert: John contacted me very quickly regarding a leak and getting an appointment set up in a very expedient manner and he quoted a rate of $1000-1200 for the service. That is where the professionalism ended. I received a call from American Leak Detection who is subcontracted to do the leak detection work; and was a bit startled as I already had them booked for July and knew of their rates. The fact of the matter is John is making a large profit off of a subcontracted service and when I called him out on it; he got very terse over the phone and stated that I guess I should leave the service in July. The moral of the story is; don't try and make $200-400 + off of subcontracted service and gouge your customers, be honest with them and when they are educated about the price, honor the price. It never hurts to be an educated consumer and a warning to all for this company is do your due diligence.

I can recommend them highly and without reservation. Throughout the course of the construction, Liquid Assets and their crews were consummate professionals. They were accurate in the initial assessment of the scale and cost of our project. He was absolutely clear in his record keeping and time log. Also, Liquid Assets chose and managed the sub-contractors well. Our pool project was done with care and precision. We especially loved the tile, coping, stone, pool deck that was chosen and installed. In addition, the Liquid Assets crews were extremely clean and tidy in the workplace. He and his assistants never left the worksite in disarray. They vacuumed all drywall dust daily. Mr. Jacobsen took special care to prevent any of the job dust from trailing throughout the yard. The only complexity in working with Mr. Jacobsen is that, as he himself will tell you, good work takes time to complete. Patience is required when you work with a perfectionist. Although our project took time to complete, I think we have a wonderful outcome and a great Asset to our home.

It was off the track just like it was back in November.Take responsibility for your sloppy work and don't destroy property to cover your tracks.I won't be responding to the owner. But, I will let everyone know about his shady practices.

Craig Mason: Receptionist is completely unprofessional. Has a bad attitude, gives misinformation, schedules appointments and then cancels and in other cases people do not show up. October 2022 I had to replace a controller and had an appointment scheduled and got a no call no show as they were closed the day of the appointment on a company retreat. SO, I had to hire an electrician to hard wire the pump so the water didn't go bad since it was a Friday and the pump controller went out on a Monday. When the tech showed up to install the new controller, he was very pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. He did a good job although I had to hire an electrician again as he didn't want to rewire the new upgraded $2500 controller the same way the old one was, so that was another call and bill. $600 in electrician bills on top of them getting the job to install the new controller. When I paid the invoice, they charged another 3% to take the payment unless I dropped off a check. Dropping off the check was a nightmare as they have some contactless system in the waiting room. It took over an hour to get the finally get out of their office.They did an OK job opening an closing when they did show up. However, this year, we called to schedule opening, and the same problematic secretary told us that we were not in their system as a customer. So, they scheduled our opening for this year. They called back today and said they did find us in their system and we now fall outside their service area. WOW. I asked if they would still service the controller they installed and she beat around the bush saying that it was under warranty by Jandy. I continued to ask if THEY would work on it if there were any issues and she just kept saying there wont be any install issues and Jandy would cover the warranty. I kept pressing her and she said IF something went wrong with it I could call them and they would see if it is something they would do at the time. WOW. No call no shows, overcharged for drive time on openings and closings, lost in their system as a customer, then found, then told cant be a customer. Shatonia Bell: My first opening with this company and I am really disappointed. I have never had an opening where the pool service company left with my pool water still green. However, stated that if we want them to come back it will be 130 hr but I have to list what I wanted done. I do not service pools so I was trusting their services to provide me with what was needed to have a pool opening. Then the manager Alex said she was tired of arguing and we can just part ways. My question is that how you conduct business when the client has questions because clearly there was a miscommunication somewhere and I needed clarification because my pool was still cloudy and my husband had to add additional chemicals to just get it to where the water was not green. I have never experienced such a horrible opening. Then she stated well you want us to do it for free which we NEVER asked for anything free. I explained to her I just wanted my pool done right and needed to know how we could get this corrected. The manager Alex was just really combative and not willing to show any empathy as we are the paying customer and we clearly paid for nothing because pool is still not open to swim in. Margie Borger: Steve was amazing and very professional with the initial process of installing a pool. We put a deposit down approx. June of 2020. Install date was to be in December. Then COVID came along and everything got behind which was understandable. We were then told that we would be swimming in our pool Memorial Weekend. Well that didn't happen. We were then told we were on the schedule for October. After so many delays and frustration we decided to cancel and they refused to return any portion of our deposit. We were also told that our pool hadn't even been assembled due to material etc. I wasn't interested in having a hole dug in my yard with the potential of looking at a mud pit all winter. A partial refund would have been the right thing to do. .

After I gave my deposit I had a severe life change, had to sell my home and they refused to give 5000 dollar deposit back. Can't be trusted and zero compassion. Michele Phillips: San Juan Pools allowed a pool company out of Columbia, IL, who also had an office in O'Fallon, MO to not only incorrectly install pool and concrete, but also allows the installer to take advantage of a chronically ill single Mother trying to provide a safe place for her children and the only safe form of exercise for myself. I have been battling with Destination Pools/Outdoor Systems/Pools and Beyond, since my pool was installed. I contacted the manufacturer, sent photo's of how the install was going and they initially did send, from what I was told, a mediator to take a look at the install that took over 6 months.Dan Flowers, owner of Destination Pools/Outdoor Systems/Pools and Beyond was then told he had to replace the flat work he placed since it was falling into the pool. He had to be forced to redo a horrible install. Problem began initially when he refused to take any responsibility for the issues that were becoming defective prior to the pool being completed. My pool is not square from not being braced properly and I have an auto cover on my pool. Since the flatwork was not placed properly and dropped 5 inches over the winter, my auto cover would not function the very first swim season. I had to pay another company to open the pool was placed in our original contract and the same company closed the pool and adjusted a brace on the auto cover so the pool cover would open. When the track for the auto cover suffered from the drop in the concrete, it also had began to fray at the corners due to the bowing of the pool. He will absolutely call you a liar and you are paying him. My pool has never been complete and now this summer, my Pentair UV Sterilizer will not work and my son is allergic to chlorine.Dan Flowers insists it was installed correctly and he obviously did not read the Installation manual. It is clear in that manual that the sterilizer is to be removed and placed indoors for the winter. Winter in the manual specifically states any region that is consistently under 40 degrees through the winter months. I live in Missouri. Dan Flowers closed my pool last fall. They did not winterize the pool properly and I have been in contact with him and he still continues to deny any improper issues his company performed and wants to discuss money owed to him for a completed project. THIS POOL has NEVER been completed. I did request that he not come and go without a quick text letting me know they were coming. They wouldn't show up for days at a time. I had to lock my gate and finally he became so unprofessional I was became afraid of him. I did ask him to leave my property because of this issue. Extremely unprofessional company. I have documented everything including one of his family members power washing his shoes off into the unfinished pool. His brother, unhappy about how dirty the pool is left that he is responsible to clean. I asked him several times to not quit prior to the job completion.Do NOT employ this company. There are other reviews very similar to mine on YELP, all of his Facebook pages, Outdoor Systems/Destination Pools and Pools and Beyond and now on Google. All he has to do is complete the issues and he absolutely refuses to do so. Forcing the Attorney General of Missouri to get involved. He will deny all of this and this isn't half of the issues. I have documentation of everything that the Attorney General will review. No one likes to give a bad review but this guy sits here three years later and speaks to me as if I work for him, not the other way around.

Jon Schneider: My wife and I met Dan and team at the St Louis home show in 2016. We were building a home in St Charles and imagined our backyard with a pool. Dan created a 3D rendering of our backyard space and delivered it perfectly. In addition to a beautiful San Juan pool, this included a covered outdoor porch fully integrated into our home with woodburning fireplace. They also landscaped the entire back and side yard. Their service and quality of work exceeded very high expectations we had. Now in our 4rd season operating our pool, they have provided excellent opening and closing services. Rippling Waters Counseling: My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received from Destination Pools. We had a leak in our pool and could not figure out the source. They responded immediately to our frantic plea for help. The guys were professional, pleasant to work with and cleaned up after themselves. We had landscaping close to where they needed to dig, but were sensitive to our desire to keep the bushes if possible. The sonar system used was state of the art and they were relentless in finding the source of the problem. We are very pleased with the service and will continue to call on them in the future.
