The_ltz_guy Master: Don’t let your kids go here even if there white the staff allow the black kids to bully and pick on the weak white kids my son had two black eyes and was picked on called a cracker and a honkey and the staff did nothing I had the police dept go and pick up my son they only allow you to write letters to parents my son wrote to me crying because he was being beaten up they staff would hold bets on who could win fights it’s full of racist black staff members who have it out for the white kids who join they would steal his clothes and everything just because the staff allowed them to be stolen and would not give him replacements this place is a joke and needs to be shut down they don’t do anything
Kim Dailey: I feel like Sherwood Forest Camp is such a great place to send your kids! My daughter has been going since 3rd grade and she’s starting 8th grade! She talks about coming back as a CIT so she can spend the whole summer at camp!! She just returned from Summer 2021 even tho it was a bit different with Covid they made a difference in each and everyone of the kids! Thankful for a semi normal summer camp! They’ve also changed many thing to be inclusive and compassionate to any and all campers no matter what!! Great job everyone!
TurboChargedDad: They got political. We pulled our children from their program.Love Sherwood Forest camp! As I have been told by staff before. “You’re a believer.”Recent leadership changes have my opinion a bit in limbo but time will tell.
Will Pott (Dub): Been going since I was 8, its a great place that has lots of pretty cool things to do. Counselors and other staff are amazing, and I have made many friends there.

Kaylyn: I’ve been going to this camp since I was in 4th grade and now I’m about to be in 9th grade and that camp has a great program and a whole lot of activities and a lot of field trips to go on you get to learn a lot about outdoor living skills and communicating with others so Sherwood is definitely a place that I would want to go to.

Devin Hunter: My friend who teaches mathematics invited me to accompany him to a STEAM-teacher workshop, which took place on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022. I had anticipated a lengthy and eyes-closing lecture about teaching STEAM material, but my low expectations soon collapsed.Special S/O to Robert Powell and Caitlyn Rettke for providing us attendees a hand-ons experience with paper rockets; LED lights and music amplifiers. Continue to do what y'all are doing in your community.Making these items before the Challenger Learning Center (CLC) had been unprecedented for me, a non-STEAM based- teacher.Devin Hunter

M R: The Challenger Center is amazing! The school-year space experiences are captivating - for kids and adults. And the summer camp is superb. The Challenger Center staff works with a huge range of children with sensitivity, brilliant programming. I helped facilitate 8 3rd graders from a Ferguson elementary school go to summer camp last summer and each kid had a fabulous time. They returned to school energized about math, science, space, school and learning. Hurray for the Challenger Center! Thank you.
Stephen Schisler: I brought my S.T.E.A.M.club kids here today and it was an AMAZING experience. Our two commanders met us at the door and walked us through our entire mission. Top notch, every kid, at every level felt that they had accomplished an integral part of the mission. They were hugging and giving each other high fives afterwards. It's like having an EPCOT center exhibit right in my old NoCo stomping grounds. If you haven't been, and your kids love space travel and science, THEN GO! Call them and schedule a mission today!
