Funnel Cake Factory Saint Louis & Turkey Leg Factory Saint Louis on Washington: what do users think?
Mark Anthony: Place is literally never open. Voicemail says hours that aren’t accurate. Business website even says hours that are not correct. Two websites, two numbers and no actual business hours, person, etc.I’m confident this isn’t a business more so a hobby that’s done when they feel like it.
Tiana Jones: This restaurant hasn't been open since the end of the summer. We started negotiations with regard to leasing this space at the beginning of October. We took ownership of the space February 1st, and people come in EVERY day looking for this business. I think it's a shame that the owner of this business and this page hasn't updated its potential customers. It indicates that the owner updated the listing 2 weeks ago saying that it's still open in this location. That's a bold faced lie because we've been in the space renovating it since February 1st. To have potential customers drive to support a restaurant that YOU KNOW is no longer in existence is despicable!!! The look of disappointment on their faces is terrible to witness, and I hate being the bearer of bad news! PEOPLE, this place is NO LONGER The Funnel Cake Factory! Whoever owns this page, PLEASE UPDATE IT!!!Follow up to the owner...what you say is not true! If you hadn't registered this business, you wouldn't be getting updates. I am well aware of how Google works because I have other business pages. Furthermore, since you have access, simply mark it as closed; and just FYI, when a person googles "The Funnel Cake Factory", no other information appears except this. If you have moved or relocated, please update that info the same way that you just chose to respond to me.Best!
Demekia Santana: Funnel cake was yummy and the conversation with the young ladies was very positive!Thank you
Kyss Mi A55 (Anarchy): The food was Delicious and it was served fresh and hot everything was well seasoned and crispy and the smoothies were the Best it just took awhile for the food and they were out of a lot of things I first ordered and the food was brought individually not all at one time the wait was the only complaint I have. Other that that it was a good experience. I’m going back soon
Antwan Sidney: Had a great time! Food is well cooked and taste so good!
Victoria Esther Pines: SLOW SERVICE!! Funnel cake was awful. Got a refund. Buffalo chicken sandwich was okay. Fries were okay. Won’t be back. DO NOT recommend. 😡
Marquinten Bryant: Very poor service, all the food was out but we were told after 20 min of waiting. We ended up getting refunds for half the food because it didn't come out after an hour and half of waiting.
Kuan McCloud: Was scared to order do to lack of customer service. Not welcoming enviorment. Maybe it was cause it was close to closing which we did not no upon entering. It looked dead and seem risky to order again do to poor customer service. Was very excited to come and very sad to leave without turkey leg.
becca rich: I was so excited about trying this place and I was also excited that it is black owned but my first experience wasn’t great . I spent over $50. I was excited about trying the Turkey legs and funnel cake . The Turkey leg is not worth $20 . It was not tender or falling off the bone just hot . And if you’re a person that likes to get their money back if you’re aren’t satisfied, ( they don’t do refunds ) . The skin was tough as well . The funnel cake was just okay , I had ice cream with mine and strawberry cheese cake . I will say the nachos were good but it was hardly any chicken on them but as far as how they were seasoned , they were tasty and the boneless chicken was good as well, way better than the Turkey leg . But If the food is going to be over priced , it should at least live up to ppls investments. With so many ppl excited about trying this place , you should work on the energy in there . It wasn’t welcoming . The workers seem like they aren’t happy about being there and that can be bad for business . You can’t have bad attitudes and want ppl to dine in or overall purchase from your company. And again that Turkey leg needs some work , if it’s gone be $20 , it needs to be worth the price ! So over all I’ll give the place a 5/10 . Hopefully you guys can improve .
Taylor Ready: I would give 0 stars if that was an option. Was out of all menu items except for wings. Asked if we could cancel order due to hardly any items available, was told they do not refund anything even though we placed the order minutes prior. Very unprofessional customer service as it was a group of teenagers working. I will say the food we received an hour after we placed our order and had to argue with the manager that fries came with the combo (even though we specifically asked the girl at the register who said they did) was good.
Keyana Lovee: It should be open but its closed. So disappointing
L Edwards: Horrific customer service and communication by manager and team. No orders taken over the phone and team member verified with designated person regarding turkey legs being ready in 1 hour. Upon arrival, I'm told that it will probably be another hour. Nasty tone used by so called manager. Im attacked and excuses made with no apology for the issue at hand, particumarly poor communication and wasting my time. Learn to listen, address and resolve issues instead just throwing things out in attack mode to see what sticks! You get what you give, and that's what the so called manager got in return! This is the type of attitude that gives black businesses a bad wrap and makes people not want to support them. I will support other black owned business that know how to listen amd speak to me and customers professionally and then resolve issues that they are at hand. This will NOT be one of them!! I go and spend money where I'm valued and appreciated! The restaurant business is not one that most DON'T survive long-term. Good luck operating with that attitude and business model!!
kaylahmaurnae _: very nice employees. I got in and out! They made sure I had everything and the energy was positive all around!! definitely will be back ❤️
Cobi1k -: I went to the funnel cake factory today and I ordered an 6 inc funnel cake and fried Oreos and they were so good the time wasn’t long at all and service was nice
cora Durley: The place was filled with smoke..... food was hard 😫 i paid alot of money 2 be so disappointed 😞 horrible slushy 😒😒😒😒
Ezell Smart: I placed an online order, the restaurant confirmed the order then told the door dasher they were warming the grease to prepare it. Then over an hour later they cancelled my order saying they couldn’t fulfill it. This beyond ridiculous. Every time I try to patronize this place whether in person or other wise, it’s always something. The food is good, but waiting extreme amounts of time for such simple orders is not desirable. Never again.
CoTina Nelson: My Family and I first time here, spent well over $300 for the worst tasting food ever. Turkey leg had no seasoning at all. Funnels cakes seemed like my Granddaughter made them. Smoothie and the service was ok, until they tried to accuse us of stealing an extra turkey leg, like I didn't even want the one you gave me and had I known you didn't give refunds, I wouldn't have come, Cause you know this food was awful 🤔
Scoopers Scoops: Was disappointed with this place after reading all the great reviews. Drove way outside my comfort zone to eat a funnel cake here. 1st finally found the place then 2 doors to enter the place and 1 was locked. The other was not really noticable. People inside offered no assistance in redirecting us to the other door. Felt really unwelcomed here. The people running it seemed confused and did not understand their own menue. What is on stuff, etc. Prices subject to change. Took over 40 mins to get 2 funnel cakes. Watching them make one was entertaining since it seemed they had no idea of how to do it. They spent 10 mins looking for ice cream. Confused about toppings on a cherry sunday funnel cake. Charged 1.50 for water. For the price I feel this is not worth it. Six flags funnels cakes are similar priced but really great. That is a theme park! I expected better. It feels like this place has great potential and maybe we just picked a bad day. Maybe staff was new. They did apologize for the delay and it does have a good atmosphere. If I am ever in the area again I may try again.
Conscious45King Ahart: Love this place! Nice in the open duck off! Promise you will love. Ordered a smoothie with all the fruit in it and a 8 inch funnel cake.. She deep fried everything right on the spot.
Paris White: I have not tried the funnel cakes yet, But my daughter has and she said it was the bests she has ever had, and everything was fresh and delicious. she also ordered the churros and loved them too. And the turkey legs are to die for. I picked it up careful because it was still hot and it fell right off the bone. seasoned just right and it was so so good. I am already addicted that I went back the next day and bought three more of them, one for me and my daughter who went with me the first day that I ate there and my other daughter. they were hooked just like me when they tried it, service was fast and staff was top of the line friendly. please go and give them a try, it is so well worth it. great food, short wait time and friendly staff.
Jay Coore: We were visiting and had this urge for funnel cake and turkey legs and were excited to find this location. At first I was put off about paying $20 for a turkey leg, but turns out it was indeed a huge turkey leg that fed 3 of us. So if there is more than 1 of you, definitely do it. The funnel cake was a little clunky instead of light and airy. With that said, when talking about taste, both the turkey leg and funnel cake were great! We didn't get pictures, by the time we got back to our hotel we were so hungry, we just dived right in.SN: I think it's important for a restaurant to display accurate prices, not just have a note that can easily be missed that says prices are subject to change without notice so you check your total before you pay. Most people look at the hanging menu and biggest, most quickly spotted sign, update accordingly.

Benjamin Reha: Standard for a cheesecake factory. Service was a little slow and it took forever to get a refill on my water. Also - not their fault - but a family with children was sat next to me where the children threw a fit and kept throwing things that hit me and landed on my table several times. If you have children and dine out - be respectful of those around you.

Kate McGinty: I really enjoyed my experience at this location. It is really well-lit and open-spaced and everyone was friendly. Our server Niko (I hope I spelled it correctly) was one of the best waiters I have ever had at a restaurant: super patient, extremely attentive, and an absolute sweetheart. The food was pretty good, especially the chicken nachos!
Sharice Carr-Brown: Words can not even begin to express how much I am in love with this Cheesecake Factory location. This has been my favorite restaurant for YEARS!! I have always had exceptional customer service, large portions of fresh, hot, and well-seasoned food, and a clean, well-staffed experience here. The restaurant is always busy, but it is never unorganized or full of chaos. The environment is what you make it - romantic for date night, celebratory for birthdays, or calm for weekend lunch dates!

St. Louis Union Station Soda Fountain: what do users think?
Jason H: Really long waits, Burger burnt, fry uncooked. St Louis standard was good and the people were nice. Understaffed for sure though.Went back today and it was much better. Everything was delicious this time. The Everything but... was outstanding.
JonMichael Deisher: The staff was horrible.A restaurant that was actually staffed. And the service was horrible.Tons of employees standing around and on their phones. We waited for at least 10 minutes making eye contact with several of the employees and it was several and they said nothing. Finally someone asked if we needed our order taken. The place was a joke.
Reagan Rose: The experience was relatively awful. I've been previously and had great service though. This time the food was cold, my server was beyond rude, we were charged the auto gratuity because we two infants. Which, okay. I understand the need to auto gratuity. But, they were 6 months old. The buns on the burgers were rock solid, the fries were cold and soggy.
Bamstar456: Good ice cream, but we were in a very short line of 8 people and waited over an hour for it. Also they do not go in order per ticket. We ordered ours and 2 groups behind us were served first then us.Overall 45 minutes in line with 8 people in front and 5 behind. Another 40 minutes just to receive 1 Strawberry Shake. Also a group ahead of us wanted water and waited 30 minutes just for water. We will not be coming back. PS I never really write reviews, but I had to for this.

NadeKillz: Went to the Soda Fountain and the food was great and the service was just as good. The freak shakes are so worth the price!! lol. Everyone should get them!!!
Mohammed “Mo” Is: Floor manager was a great guy and made experience great.
Jennifer Rowlinson: If you’re in St Louis, you have to go here! Delicious shakes & great food! Has a classic diner atmosphere and the staff is so incredibly friendly! You can even sit on the patio and watch the fire show!Kid-friendliness: Our server went out of her way to ensure our kids had everything they needed. Not only is the staff kid friendly, but so is their menu.Parking: Parking is located in Union Station so it’s huge!
Marina Pursley: My friends highly recommended this place and were SO excited for me to try it. The best part is the decor and the atmosphere. LOVE the old school diner theme. The shakes were creative and tasted really good. The food was honestly mediocre. There's a very minimal selection. I tried the burger and while it wasn't bad, I can get a better one almost anywhere else. It was dry and didn't have alot of flavor. The fries were good but also bland. My friends agreed that it was nothing like when they came here the first time. The service is what killed it for all us. We waited half an hour for a table (which was fine. It was busy) then once we got our table we sat there for 45 minutes before our waitress Koda even acknowledged us. She brought us waters and then disappeared for 15 minutes before coming to get our order. She took the order. We waited 15 more minutes for 5 sodas and a classic shake. After 30 more minutes we saw her actually ringing in our food. When the food came out it was okay. We had 3 extra baskets of fries, don't know how that happened. After about an hour I ask for a box and a to-go cup which I never got. We told her it was one check (bc we didn't want to make it difficult) but we got 2 that weren't correct. We had to wait another 30 minutes (for her to run around with who I assume is the manager) before we got our still not correct checks. The manager was walking around the whole time we were there. Never stopped and asked us anything. Honestly she just walked around with her nose up in the air and kept tapping on her iPad. Got the feeling she wanted to look inportant vs actuallyworking to help others out. We never saw her so anything, other than walk around with that iPad. She barely acknowledged the staff or the customers. We just paid the checks and then venmoed each other. The most frustrating part is that there was a different waitress at near by tables that turned at least 3 tables while we waited to order. This really ruined my first experience and my friends' 2nd. I wanted to love this place. I was so excited to come here. My friend could not stop telling me about it on our wally to the restaurant he was so excited. After this experience, my friends who wanted me to try this "amazing" place so badly, they don't even want to go back now. We want to give it another shot because we don't want to discount the whole restaurant on what seems like one poor manager and a bad server, but it's gonna be hard to go back.EDIT: My group was invited back to try again completely on the house and our 2nd time back was MUCH better. Our waitress Amber was amazing. Very attentive and super friendly. Will definitely be asking for her section when we come back. The food was so good, much better than last time! It came out super fast and was cooked perfectly. I am so glad we gave this place a second try. We will definitely be back with all of our friends.Parking: Parking isn't my favorite. You have to pay to park and with such slow service it's kind of a rip off!
Sid Larsen: Jelly belly heaven!!!
Sam Huffines: The best smash burger on the Mississippi River.Great service, great atmosphere, unbeatable value. Perfect way to end a visit to the aquarium.
Cyan Vines: This place was a huge disappointment. I had a friend visiting from out of town and really talked up our soda fountain. Upon arriving, the place was chaotic. Parents weren’t watching their children. They were running all over the place. The tables weren’t cleaned. The cleaning products were out and on the tables. The workers just weren’t using them. It seemed like all the workers were on a break. We couldn’t decide on a flavor and asked for two samples to help decide. The clerk went to get them and I heard someone say “for who” and “NAW” very loudly. She returned stating they don’t do samples anymore. Strange, right? I asked for a card for the establishment. I was told they don’t have business cards. I asked for the managers name. They didn’t know the managers’ name. I asked about a GM and finally got a manager’s first name that was sloppily written on the receipt. It was completely illegible. We settled on the cookies and cream which was nothing really special. I won’t be back and recommend everyone avoid this place. Baskin Robbins is honestly better tasting and their workers want to be there.Kid-friendliness: It’s like a huge playground. Not really. But people aren’t watching their children here.
Nathan Fonda: Food: 3/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Andrew Nelle: Great experience, great hamburgers, innovative ice cream! I highly recommend this spot 👌
Andrea Robinson: Horrible sent my food back twice still was cold.. The waitress used her had to left up the top bun of one of our burgers. Only for her to see her was are wasn’t on it .!!! Really that was my first & last time . But when all said and done the owner took care of us Thanks for that 👍

Shronda Keen: The website states the do take out but they don’t
kristin g: We brought my son here for his 8th birthday because he wanted to eat and get ice cream. When we came in they told us a 20 minute wait, but we actually ended up waiting 45 minutes. After we were seated we waited 15 minutes before being greeted by our server. All of the staff looked absolutely miserable, besides the bus boy. We ended up just eating our food and leaving to go somewhere else to get ice cream. Definitely will not be going back, which sucks because the place seems like it could be really neat!
Account 0856: In St. Louis on business and dropped in for lunch - super clean ice cream/burger joint! Service was awesome! Food was nice and hot - chicken sandwich, fries, chicken strips, onion rings!! Ice cream for desert and a stop at the candy emporium!! Great spot in Union Station!! Young lady who waited on us gave us a soda refill to go! Loved the music - was waiting for the Fonz to show up with Ritchie Cunningham!Kid-friendliness: What kid wouldn’t love this place!!Parking: Plenty of parking
