Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44: what do users think?
Doug Fieg: Nice place
Patrick Puder: Convenient
Sue Savage: Quick and easy transportation
Jimmy Conway: Plenty of buses and the Metrolink train heading Eastbound to get you wherever you need to go, in St. Louis, MO and across the river in Illinois. Make sure you have a valid ticket or pass, otherwise when the county brownies catch you without one, it's off to the pokey and a hefty fine! No restrooms or anywhere close to go if needed. There's no good place to get out of the rain here either. Security is always there so no worries over robberies, etc. Safe travels!
R Cusick: Nice central location for transit. I didn't immediately see where the #9 bus lines up, and thought I'd gotten off at the wrong place. While trying to figure that out on my phone, I was approached by someone being...strange. Stood a ways from me and said, "Hey there." Thought they might be on a phone. "God bless you today." I'm not religious but I at least hoped the person was proselytizing instead of creeping, so I said, "Mmm, thanks, you too." This led into a long mumbled speech about how we all have bad days, and then a recounting of how he'd gotten there... You can't trust folks at bus stops and I couldn't tell his intentions, so I hate to say I told him I was at the wrong station and walked in the opposite direction. Always better safe than sorry, gotta trust your instincts at the risk of seeming a bit rude.Twenty minutes later, after finding the bus and finding out it didn't leave for ANOTHER twenty minutes, it was me talking to strangers, but I was direct and friendly. "Excuse me, is there a bathroom? Anywhere around here?" There wasn't and I almost walked to a nearby gas station! Please please add in a restroom here. It's sorely needed.
JOEL VIERA: Connects, among others, w/ #30 to downtown
JD Pearson: Bus location
Small Byrdz: Parking is a plus and service is frequent.
TIMOTHY HERNANDEZ: Clean quiet and community
Olga Gavrilova: Love Shrewsbury Station! Parking is great!
Ceejae Hungerford: I have been coming here to pick up my son daily from this station. I see the security patrolling and enforcing the no smoking policy in certain areas. I feel safe here and the train runs on time. The landscaping is kept up and there is no trash on the ground.
Corey J: Plenty of buses and Metrolink trains to get you to your destination.
Robert Warren: Was pick pocketted, after trying to brake up a fight on the lin
Seth Lindsey: Nice parking lot, plenty of commuter space that can be used for longer term.
Lone Star87: Great experience. The train is much faster than the bus and it is not too expensive.
Donna Pryor: I have rode the trains and buses for along time. The metro link so quicker to get downtown.and the price is good, too.
Kristie Qualls: The bus's run on time but about 45% of your drives are very rude !!
Charles Dansler: Love it quick speed
Independent CriticalThought: Safe and lots of routes
Tim Krupinski: I dont ride regularly, but when I do its usually pretty convenient. While the trains don't run as frequently as they do in places like Chicago, a quick google search before you plan on taking it will save you having to wait 20 minutes on a platform. The fact that a ticket also includes bus transfer means its pretty easy to get to most spots in the city. I live a few miles from the nearest station, so I take the bus. Both run about every 20 minutes or so, and it seems like some thought went into the routes since I never have to wait more than 5 minutes for a train after getting off the bus.A lot of common criticism I hear about Metrolink is that the "wrong crowds" ride it, its dangerous, etc. It's all pretty much nonsense. I'm not sure what the right crowd would be, but its used heavily by WashU and SLU students getting around. I see a lot of Blues and Cardinals fans on it as well. If your worried about safety - I always see transit authority manning the platforms, and while you sometimes get on a car with obnoxious people, its no different than being in a crowd anywhere else.Overall I wish it serviced more locations and had a farther reach out west. However, as a pragmatic person living in St Louis I realize that they operate on a pretty limited budget at the mercy of outraged county denizens who bemoan any attempt to expand it. Taking that into consideration, it's an overall great system that I use whenever I can.
Jaylen Riley: It's a little messy as in there is a lot of garbage hanging around.

Jimmy Conway: Plenty of trains and buses coming and going to get you wherever you need to be. Security is almost always around so you feel safe.
Corlis Dotts: 4 Great service and great security. I feel very protected at this station. Police always visible

Union Station: what do users think?
Ashar Organic: really enjoyed this area as just a casual stop on a date night out, although we didnt participate in alot of the events (yet) there was alot to do and see. feeding the fish was fun and the soda fountain is a really cool little spot. there is also a ferris wheel, mini golf, a carousel, the aquarium, and a few other things to entertain.
Kati Forstner: Family friendly, neat atmosphere, reasonable parking fees. The aquarium is small but we enjoyed the experience. They have several touch pools to feel different species of marine life. The prices are a little high for what you get to do but we were on vacation and expected to pay a little more for things. They have combo ticket deals if you plan to do multiple attractions. We enjoyed walking around outside and watching the fire show. There are several restaurants on site. We didn’t eat at any of them but the food we saw looked delicious.
Jennifer Rowlinson: St Louis Union Station is AMAZING! From the Gorgeous well preserved train station which is now a beautiful Hotel to an Aquarium & the awesome Fire Show! I mean this place has it all! Places to eat, which I highly recommend the Soda Fountain, Best shakes and great food! A massive Build a Bear store located out front. A Ferris Wheel, play area for kids, tons of old trains, including the Polar Express! If your in St Louis, you have to go here!
Irsan Sutanto: Grand hall light show. Short light show. Recommended to visit inside the hotel.
Michelle Tyler: It is absolutely ridiculous to charge $45 to park at your facility parking lot and then take over an hour to get out. I will not be back for any events.
Sonja Sims: Great place!
Brittney: A good outdoor venue with a lot of activities and options for food. We enjoyed riding the Ferris wheel while there. Family and kid friendly!
Melanie Tatum: It's fun(ish). The updates are pretty cool. However, knowing that it's a spring break week for millions of kids, having some the attractions down seems a bit of a fail on the business part. What was planned as one of our coolest days on our trip has been a bit of a disappointment to our kid. When we asked if certain things would eventually open we were told they weren't sure because of their staff going back to school. Bad business. Staff your business so you can be fully open during one of the busiest times of the year. Huge disappointment knowing our kiddo is let down on vacation.UPDATE: DO NOT USE FREE LOCKERS AT THE ROPE COURSE. The employees have access to them and stole the 2 squismellows we purchased at a vendor on the outside. They treated me horrible for being upset about it. When I requested cameras to be watched, they quickly changed their attitudes and replaced the items. Just awful!!!
K2gd: Loved the feel of this place. The energy was great. Ate dinner and walked around a bit. The aquarium was closed but looked spectacular. I recommend a visit.
EV US: My other half wanted to bring me this location as we walked from downtown on a rather hot day, as he wanted to go later to a game, so here are some things you might find helpful, if you are a 'newbie' just like I was:- you can surely walk to here from downtown but it was a good 20 minutes walk passing near the baseball stadium, lots of government buildings, small parks etc which I would be scared to walk alone during the day in USA - in Europe I would not be scared due to the 'funny looking people not having guns': that is a reality!- returning from this location by train would mean to the train from the station near the hotel (even locals do not know where it is) so simply descend from near the car park on S 18th street which is off Market street passing in front of Union Station hotel- Union station hotel used to be a station, looks nice from outside and as we got inside we realised the potential it could have been better revealed if it was renovated in London for example (where they done some amazing renovations of equally old buildings or former train stations - I guess is down to money the investors can make, right?) The guy at the entrance advices us, speaking to us over the shoulder, how we can reach, via S 18th Street, the Wheel/restaurants/etc located at the back of the hotel - they can be accessed only via here at this moment in time, although I saw some doors on S 20th street, however they were locked- the area behind the hotel is centred around a massive pond with koi carp fish you can feed by purchasing over price food in different locations. There is also an aquarium (located towards the back of the hotel - we thought it was the entrance for the train station!!!), also Landry restaurant where we had a great meal, The Soda fountain where I was looked on with disrespect by the funny big mammas at the entrance paying more attention to their wigs and nails and several other placesAltogether is a nice place, learn from our mistakes and be as relaxed as you can when you are abused by some people with mental issues who do not know how to look at the bigger picture of the world due to lack of education probably, as is normally the case.
Gabby Zimbelmann: Everything was really fun, but there was no one at the thing where you get yourself drawn and at the snake area there wasnt a snake! once you get your tickets for the ferris wheel, its very expensive and not worth it. You wait in line forever just to get on the ride. but its worth it when you get in. the view is gorgeous
Ronald Kruse: Pro tip: one of the fish food dispensers is busted and if you turn it left you can get free fish food instead of 6 pellets for a quarter.
Farc Herring: Last night we went on the polar express train ride for the holidays. When boarding the train one of the conductors said to my family: “look at all these spic and span” people. This is not appropriate and sounded quite racist by his tone of voice. Nothing new for us to experience here in Missouri. How sad.
Donald Allen: Went to Landrys. Nice evening out.
Miranda Ramsey: No ignorant stinky bums
KAYODE OJIRO: Kids enjoyed the acquarium and the people were friendly.
Julia Hahn: Very central metrolink station.
BabyD SixtiesChick: I gave a 4 because there is always room for growth. I had a great time during my stay. The double queen room 4310 was clean. Bathroom tub, toilet and sink were clean, as I always check. Sheets were clean, no bed bugs. Carpet looked clean, no stains. There's quite a bit to do in the area, so once you're there you don't have to go far for activites I will be staying again when back in St. Louis.
Lucia Kingsby: Lots of great experiences. Loved the interactive displays in the aquarium.
Mellissa Jones: Union Station was great fun. Every activity my granddaughter and I did was great fun. I was expecting more in the aquarium but it still ranks top level for a fun place. A definite "do" when in STL!
Amy Quinn: The fire and light show is very pretty and the ice cream and milkshakes are to die for at Soda Fountain 😋

Tim Price: Some incident and no communication as to what to do! Poor planning and execution!
Lord Rev. Shaun Boswell: If it weren't for the people, and if they had a restroom, it's a very nice station.
Michael Smith: It Is almost silent as you listen to the hummingof bus engines. Number four bus was on time and i can hear east bound train approaching. Not crowded in fact three people on platform.
Donald Davis: Bus 7554 female driver was extremely rude and condescending totally unpleasant and unprofessional while talking to me and texting
Donna Parris: Very secure and safe
Naomi Taylor: Downtown E. Stl is a mess
Duane Sniderbey: Great

St. Louis Gateway Transportation Center: what do users think?
Carla Dennis: 1st time ride in the train was for Memorial Day weekend we departed on Saturday. The 27th that trip to Chicago was excellent on the way back riding train 3. 05 was the most horrible experience I've ever had. They had a mechanical issue. No one told us you stopped in the middle of nowhere they. The air went out the tallest Built-in up that whole experience was just horrible lack of communication. Nobody told us anything just a homework and endeavor we got back to the Saint Louis station. The escalator was broke we had the look. I looked just up the steps which was very uncomfortable for someone. My party at 12 had medical issues and could not maneuver steps well the 1st time and the 2nd time traveling returning home with told Toby different experience don't. Know if I write and track again. .
Michael Carannante: One of the best transportation centers out of all of the places we stopped on our Greyhound journey from Arizona. Absolutely unable to compare to the quality of a station/terminal on the East Coast and could most certainly use a facelift.
Trotamun2 *: Rock hard seats, no leg rest, no recline no dimming lights, bossy staff. Ripoff should have taken the shorter bus ride and cheaper. Stay home don't travel
Z M: This station has gone downhill since it opened. One of the Amtrak employees from Chicago said that this was the worst station in Amtraks system. She didn’t feel safe going into the station and she’s from Chicago. Both times I traveled through this station in a week, someone had overdosed on drugs by the bathroom. Welcome to St.Louis! Such a cool city but I hate to see it go downhill.
githren moonpetal: 50 plus hours of bus traveling, and it seems you are the only transit station that cares to clean and keep utilities a working. I appreciate it enough leave a review. If you have a long layover here you won't feel gross during and after it.
Carolyn McGlynn: I used the greyhound bus but it also has Amtrak there
K T: I gave this ride 3 stars because the guy working in the restaurant on train attitude was HORRIBLE!!!! He was not friendly at all! Face stayed frowned up! I was so hungry but I refused to buy food due to his demeanor then he had the NERVE to have a tip box! SmhHOWEVER everyone e else was pretty cool👌🏽
Johnathan Rial: We are stuck in a blizzard.
Makaylia Jones: RACIST!! Beware! They picked on a 17 year old for no reason!
Ruby Garcia: Let me share you some truth they have the rudest employees , have not a drop of respect for the people on the train if something goes even a little wrong in their minds they will off board you even if it’s not right :) this infuriated me but it’s okay I hope nobody goes to this train station because they suck fr
Rose Longuemire: I juat wanna say that Christein was a awesome lady. She was a big help to and for me.
Sniypr Q: Why would I want to use a service that throws 17 year old kids off the train mid trip for cussing. Especially when the other riders are defending him. Absolutely astonishing. Maybe you should train your employees better. Also using the "were a private business we can throw out anyone we want" to reply to the people defending him is pretty low.
Jayson Slobodzian: Very good experience here with Amtrak. Took the train from here to Chicago in the early morning. Train was on time and we boarded quickly. Although the train was rather old, it was clean upon boarding. Would recommend the Amtrak app as it made our travels easier.
Really Lawrence: Amtrak,Can you please post here the rules, regulations, conduct of passengers prior to entering the train? What was the outcome of the teenager kicked off the train for using profanity prior to boarding? Was Bob reprimanded, what about the conductor who said the young man had to go?
Shellie Milligan: Nice and help full
Christian Fierro: It is a transit center. No frills found here. If you need Greyhound or Amtrak services in St Louis City this is it. The local Metrolink service also operates buses and a limited light rail. Boarded is easy and stress-free. I hope to see future improvements with the downtown revitalization efforts.
eric martinez: Security was rude and angry at everyone. Like you’re just security for a bus!/train station. Security are nothing more than trashy losers
Joseph Emery: Very clean
Jaylynn Pena: The rude conductor kicked off a 17 year old for cussing even though she was being disrespectful to her own employees. The conductor position should be placed on someone else. It is extremely unprofessional completely a waste of time. They should be embarrassed. Other passengers on the train tried to reason with the “security” to let the minor stay on the train. It was simply unjust. You should be ashamed.
Gary Bearden: Dirty.
