harry rodriguez: I am currently living here and yesterday marked 30 days of our ac unit not working, we have been patient and nice about it but we are to the end of a breaking point. I haven’t been able to properly do my homework due to the in-comfort in my home. Yesterday I was having an anxiety attack until I threw up causing me to get sick and not finish my homework that was due the next day. I have to die laundry ridiculously bc I sweat through everything I have and it’s $1.50 to wash, 1.50 to dry. This complex potentially ruined the next 5 years of my life. I feel trapped and like my health is at risk. I’ve tried getting moved into a different unit or compensation but all they say is to talk to the property manager who is never there or won’t respond to email because he’s on vacations. Something needs to happen. UPDATE!!!!! AC is yet to be fixed and they are refusing to give the month of June’s rent off even after we have went without AC FOR OVER A YEAR NOW. I have medical issues that I’ve acquired from living here. At this moment I just want to warn people from the DANGERS you can encounter leasing with the ICON.

McKay Hill: WORST PLACE TO REBT FROM. The laundry room is full of trash stains and dirt, especially in the washers and dryers. I constantly break out each time I use the washers. The laundry room as been dirty for months. We have possums on theGarage due to trash build up and overflow. The. Garage door is broken and has been for over a year, which means anyone can just walk right into the building.

shyanne hibbler: HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!! I wish I can rate 0 stars!! This place is awful to live in, trash is piled up for days which attracts gnats and rodents, laundry room is never clean and tenants touch others clothes. Our toilet was backed up and toilet water overflowed all into the halls and even the rooms, they came days later and sucked up the water but never throughly cleaned it which is a health hazard. Work orders ignored and maintenance was understaffed. Not mention we had strangers knocking on our door in the middle of the night and management did nothing about it. PLEASE DONT LIVE HERE!!

Mahnoor Amjad: This place is absolutely trash. Daniel (property manager) ignores all emails and is the rudest person I know. Previously Christi and now Jay are extremely rude as well. I asked for a meeting with them once and Jay straight up told me Daniel and Jay were not available for a meeting. The whole apartment building is falling apart. But worse than that is the management. They should all be fired. At this point, it feels like they are stealing from me but I am so done. They have made my life a living hell with multiple violations of my lease but no accountability. Pathetic place, pathetic management.

Dr. Arthur Vaughn: Don’t move here! I have never lived in public housing but imagine that this is what it would be like. The carpet in the hallways is beyond filthy. The smell of pet urine is rampant. The lack of water pressure is only surpassed by the lack of hot water and heat. Based on the trash spread around the parking garage I am surprised rodents haven’t taken up residence but it’s just getting cold so we shall see.When I expressed my concerns I was told they would be addressed but to-date there has been bit progress. Unless your other choice is homelessness I would not live here. I am starting 2023 somewhere else.

Clover Seely: Update (see my original 2021 review, below this review): Sadly since new management took over in May of 2022, this place has gone drastically down hill. When PeakMade first took over, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and chalked up the issues to the transition of new management. However, the issues have only escalated; amenities are dissapearing but rent rates are increasing. The cleaning staff that used to be here Mon-Fri has been gone since July, and nobody is cleaning the common areas. It's absolutely disgusting. In August, we had a period of over 2 weeks where no trash was taken out. The trash rooms were so full that the doors wouldn't close, and the smell went from bad, to worse, to 100% unbearable. It took so many complaints to the office to finally get them to do something about it, with no apologies whatsoever. They never address any of the issues that are brought up, and are perpetually using the excuse of "being in transition." I've been renting here since May of 2021 and in the beginning, the pros absolutely outweighed the cons. At this point, the only "pro" is having a roof over our heads. If you are thinking about renting here, I would strongly reconsider.Original Review 2021: So far I love living here! Friendly neighbors, a very friendly and helpful staff, and great amenities, in a central location. If you're looking for a rental I definitely recommend checking these apartments out.

Jayla Hen: Please do not move here!!! My experience was overall horrible. I lived there for over 2 years Masala the apartment manager was great they cared about their tenants. She end up leaving the new apartment management started to harass me for no reason. Danny and Cristi are racist and do not care for their tenants. They will try to dodge you for sure if you speak up for yourself. Maintenance likes to go into peoples apartment when they’re not there also they like to come in unannounced. They came in my old apartment multiple times while I was not clothed. Nothing happened expect they said they’ll “do something about it”. They are quick to evict people for no reason. Maintenance takes long to fix anything atleast a month or so to get anything done. Cristi & Danni know that there are things wrong in the whole building in different apartments and still selling them for over $1000. That’s why you can’t see them until you sign that lease !!! I’m just here to give awareness !!!!

Kathy Johnson: Never rent here. New management took over in 2022 and it is a joke. They say they are a student housing complex now and you are required to have renters insurance. My daughter is covered for up to $1 mil on our homeowners. They still want to charge her $20 a month since June bc the icon was not specifically labeled on the policy- our actual insurance rep had to call them because they are not smart enough to see she is covered and has been this entire time. Also now charging for laundry which was not done before. They are sticking it to the college kids any way they can for extra $$ to line their pockets. It’s a joke!
