Schwaig Art Glass Works: what do users think?
Chrissie Wojciechowski: John was so easy to work with. His work was amazing and speedy. Would definitely recommend!
Elisa Mullins: John was very responsive. Created exactly what I envisioned. The leaded glass insert in my storm door for a 1930’s Tudor was perfect finishing touch I asked for. Thanks!!
Robin Pritchett: Fast, friendly, and perfectly done. John matched the broken panes in my window exactly!
The Original Sarah: John did a custom piece for me. It is fabulous! He is incredibly skilled & reasonably priced. He should charge more & I never say this about vendors.
Nolesser Man: Mr. Schwaig (John) completed a stained glass repair in a prompt and timely manner. He recommended a excellent restaurant for lunch, while he completed the repair. The repair blended flawlessly with the rest of the piece. John explained what he had done and his attention to details to blend it. An excellent job.
Kayla Tatum: Such a nice guy that does great work for a fair price! Highly recommended. See the before/after pics
Brian Lein: John was amazing to work with. He fixed our windows and flattened them. We thought they were lead but we found out they were zinc, which is harder to work with. John took care of it in short time and was very professional. We will definitely use him again. Thank you.
Nicholas Coffelt: John (the owner) is a very kind man who does excellent work. I had him repair a section of my stained glass window that was broken, as seen in the before and after photos. He was able to remove, replace, and reinstall the stained glass within a couple hours. He was also able to install a clear protective window to protect the stained glass. It is now restored to its original beauty and is protected from damages for many years to come. I highly recommend John/Schwaig Art Glass Works for any of your general or stained glass needs.
Courtney McAllister: Not only does John do excellent work, he is a wonderful human being. I had a stained glass piece that was damaged in my move and John promptly repaired it wonderfully! I also can't recommend him enough for custom work as a family member had a beautiful piece created by John that is admired by all. Call John, you won't be disappointed!
Michael Savio: John did an excellent job repairing the stained glass window on our front door. He will be my first call if I need additional stained glass work done in the future!
Daniel Bossaller: As STL-pats now living in Texas, it's great to have a reminder of home hanging in our window. John's work is amazing, and he is a delight to talk with.
Margaret Bossaller: John makes remarkable, beautiful, quality work. His art is unique, with beautiful attention to detail and fine craftsmanship. It’s such a pleasure to hear him talk about his artistic process and craft. My favorite of his works are pieces that incorporate mixed media, such as slices of agate or yellow obsidian stones in with the glass. He also has a remarkable range in his work from a more classic, traditional style to truly edgy, innovative, modern pieces. John is also a genuinely kind person who is a delight to chat with.
Justin Palm: John took the time to understand our desired look for our window and kindly and gently gave us ideas to improve the design. The craftsmanship and installation also were top notch.
John Schroeder: John is deeply experienced at his craft, and it shows! He does beautifully artistic work, and approaches his projects with attentiveness and professionalism. Highly recommended!
William Morris: We needed the stain glass window in our front door repaired. The window was in very back shape. Most of the lead joints were broken and it was VERY loose in the door from the years of abuse. Plus it had two broken glass pieces. I was worried about the amount of time it would take for it to be repaired. Thought I might have to cut a piece of wood to secure our front door for a week or more, and then I found John. John came by on the next Saturday. He carefully removed the very weak window, repaired all of the broken joints, replaced the broken glass, and reinstalled it the same day! The window is very strong now, looks great ( John cleaned it) and it looks new again. Thank you, John for your service. I will definitely give you a ring for my other windows. I will highly recommend you to allmy neighbors that will need your service.
Dorene Alford: John is very courteous, prompt, and knowledgable. He does beautiful stained glass work and possesses the ability to take what you envision and produce it. We are extremely pleased with our front door and transom's. I recommend him to anyone looking for someone to do stained glass work.

Chris Cosby Art Glass Co: what do users think?
J Hovick: We stumbled upon Chris' workshop while on a drive, and what a blessing it was! Chris is very patient & kind and has great artistic instincts. While our project was very simple, it made 100% improvement to our kitchen cabinets. It was just the extra touch we needed to complete our kitchen renovation! (pls disregard the difference in lighting color....1 was taken during the day; and 1 was taken at night)
Kelsey Tinkum: Cosby Art Glass was an absolute delight to work with! From the initial consultation where I shared styles I liked/didn't and Chris came up with an incredible sketch, to great connections to help with additional prep work, to collaboration on the glass color, to final install -- I couldn't say better things! We love the new stained glass window, the character it adds to our home, and hope to have the opportunity to work with Chris again.
Marilyn Heller: Working with Chris Cosby on our two projects was a pleasure. He added art glass to our front door and side windows. It is wonderful, letting in more light and beautifully installed. He also designed a stained glass window for our bedroom and it is amazing- much more beautiful than we could have imagined! I highly recommend him.
Andrea McKie: I can't say enough great things about working with Chris to design a new window for my stairwell. He was able to create something that is even better than I had imagined, and the process was smooth and seamless. This makes me happy every time I look at it, and looks as if it was original to the house! I cannot recommend Cosby Art Glass enough!
Floyd Harrison: Sent email them no answer
Nola Jones: Owner so nice listen attentive 2 the problem an need try 2 get what u want came up with item close 2 what was need was 2 expensive 4 me gave solutions an suggestion
Kasey Eichhorn: True artists! They saved my original art glass windows and made me basically exact matches for the bathroom. Can't really tell which ones are the replicas! Both Chris and his brother are so accomodating and really go above and beyond. Would give 6 stars if I could.
David Stuart: Great small business that they do glass because they love the work.
Deb Veis: I worked with Tim to create this new addition to my front door. It was a fun collaborative process, and I get to enjoy the results every day. I highly recommend the Cosby brothers.
Annie Rosenkranz: Fantastic to work with, great craftsmanship and attention to detail! Matched a broken pane to the original stained glass windows to match the others in our home. Provided careful repairs and maintenance to ensure the longevity of their work. Couldn't be happier!
Jeanne M: My husband and I turned to Cosby Art Glass as part of our recent kitchen remodel. We wanted 6 cabinet doors done in leaded glass. Even though we live south of Wentzville we drove the 45 minutes to Webster Groves at the recommendation of our kitchen designer. We are so glad that we made the trip! Chris Cosby is so easy to work with and his work is meticulous. Our cabinet doors are gorgeous and I can't imagine the kitchen without them. I highly recommend this place.
William Lucas: My dog broke an old stain glass window in our U-City house about 4 days before a Christmas party. I called Chris and told him we needed it done in a short time frame, he worked tirelessly for 2-3 days, this was a complicated old stain glass window that was destroyed. He got it back to us in time and it literally looked like the window had never broken. I was amazed. Worth every penny and would highly recommend!
Ken Homza: Terrific. Easy to work with and did a fantastic job. Amazing what a piece of stained glass can do to enhance the look of a room. Highly recommend.
Bret Shaw: I was in need of some custom made glass panels for my veterinary office. Chris designed two amazing stained glass panels and expertly installed them in my office. His communication and attention to detail are second to none. Highly recommended!!!!!Bret ShawKingsbury Animal Hospital
Susan: Cosby Art Glass was able to locate, cut and replace some broken antique window panes with beautiful art glass that matched the original work perfectly. Chris reinforced some delicate wood framing, as part of the job, going above and beyond what he was hired for. Pricing was more than fair. He's polite, pleasant and professional and his workmanship reflects his high standards. A real asset to St. Louis.
Jim & Sue Rochow: Cosby Art Glass provided a custom art glass for our foyer window. Their design and fabrication was excellent, and their installation was flawless. We highly recommend them!
Sheri Hogland: I am so pleased with the work that Cosby Art Glass performed on my broken cabinet door/window. I built the stained glass door myself and was devastated when it fell and 5 pieces broke. They were able to repair the broken pieces AND put the wood frame back together just like new. The estimate for work was accurate and very reasonable. Thanks, guys!
Luke Menn: Cosby Art Glass Co. knocked it out of the park with a project for my home. I highly recommend their services. Chris is a great guy to work with!

Third Degree Glass Factory: what do users think?
Serge T: Great evening event. If you had never seen how glass is worked this is the place to go and see professionals to work glass, make new things right in front of you. They also have another person talking through the process. Very informative. There is also drinks and music. Nice atmosphere for a Friday evening.
Vic Goldberg: Amazing artwork at reasonable prices. You can talk to the artists while they're working. Friendly staff, very helpful. Highest recommendation!
Terence Seldon: Enjoyed the glass blowing presentation during my visit to STL for a conference. The artist was really good at explaining the various stages of making a sculpture. The staff were very friendly. Had a good chat with one of the artists. They also have pretty awesome gifts to get for friends and family. You ought to go if you’re in the STL area!
Rachel Lipton: Stunning gallery
Feasting In Valhalla: I worked there briefly about a decade ago and the person who had trained me obviously had a bias against me because I had learning disabilities and didn't teach me everything I had to know. It cost me my job and my respect of ever going back there again. Plus it gave me trauma that led into my future jobs that I could never be competent enough for neurotypicals. I finally have courage to speak about this.
Dick Blomgren: My wife and I wanted something unique to do in St Louis so we took a glass blowing lesson. We had a blast and our instructor James was very informative and patient. We highly recommend Third Degree Glass for a new experience and ask for James.
Shronda Jackson: Surprise 60th Birthday party. The staff was more than accommodating from event planning services to the staff being available and supportive during clean up. The service and feeling welcomed was superb. The bartenders Lauren and Dove made every drink special and kept up with the crowd without skipping a beat. The space alone is so beautiful and modern that you don’t need a lot to decorate. Third Degree Glass Factory Rocks!!
Alexis: I went to the Glass Factory for the Riverfront Times inaugural Sugar Rush Event, so I was able to snack on desserts during my visit. Overall I enjoyed the venue, and the art work was beautiful! Watching the glass blowing demonstration was spectacular, the artists were patient, swift and diligent. I could feel the heat from the materials sitting in the front row, so I could only imagine how they felt! The lollipop turned out great. Thanks for an awesome show!
MudRaider: What a great place to have a wedding! Love the glass blowing demo as part of marriage ceremony. Don't understand? Give them a call!
A Jameice: Great experience! Lots of beautiful one of a kind pieces. Some are very expensive but when you watch the demonstration you get it. Go and see for yourself, every third Friday!
Claire Gray: We had a great experience with Third Degree. They made a wonderful unity sculpture from the frits we combined at our wedding. We love it!
Amanda Links: Third Degree Glass has been absolutely amazing to work with. We purchased the Unity package for our wedding and Jen worked with us to custom make a vase using the unity frit to hold my wooden flower bouquet. Having the option of 4 colors was perfect as we were able to have my stepkids join in the unity ceremony and visually see their contribution.I recently reached out to commission two smaller vases using the extra unity frit as an anniversary gift and both Jen and Charlie worked to design pieces that fit my needs exactly. The final pieces are all stunning and perfect items to remind us of our special day and of the family bonds created.
Elin Asvaldsdottir: Amazing place to experience glass. You can watch or learn or make all in one spot!
Michael Baldwin: They were quick and efficient. Honestly super easy to work with and they even helped me because I made a mistake and needed it fast
Shannon Lupien: We wanted something different to add to our wedding ceremony that would be beautiful and we would want to keep forever. And these beautiful works of glass art fit the bill for us! We got to choose our design and the colors we wanted, we choose to go with our wedding colors. The turn around process was a few weeks but soooo worth the wait!! Can’t wait to put it in our home and share with our family and friends for a lifetime!!
Trent Moreland, Ph.D.: I went here for a Holiday party for work. A very interesting space. The glass artwork is spectacular! Watching the glass being blown was an added bonus to a fun event.Update: I returned to the Third Degree Glass Factory for another work celebration; it remains a very nice venue!
Danielle Renee': Amazing atmosphere and staff!! They demonstrated how they made glass. I really enjoy my visit and I would recommend this business to anyone that's planning a event
Dale Ficken: This place is awesome. You can purchase amazing glass pieces from local artists, participate in glass blowing experiences to make something on your own or even rent out a portion or their space for an event. It's a great place to visit especially on the 3rd Friday of every month where they have glass blowing demos, food trucks and a great bar for drinks.
carrie wadyko: Excellent time beautiful artist space!!
Lauren Mallalieu: Beautiful piece of art to remember our wedding day! If you’re on the fence about it, order it!
Simon Huang: Well worth the visit!
