Jordan Petersen: We signed a contract with them nine months ago and we still don’t have working solar panels. Beware the customer service is nonexistent, and they do not care about you after they get paid.
Emily Petersen: I would give them zero stars if I could. The crew just showed up at our house 3 days before Christmas with no notice. We have now had panels for over 4 months that don’t work. We’re paying for them but can’t use them. I’ve contacted the company multiple times and no one seems to be able to give me a straight answer. Mike, the owner, is abrasive and condescending. He has hung up on me before. I’m extremely unhappy with my whole experience with the company and made a complaint to the BBB. I will also be making a complaint to the loan company because I am paying for panels I cannot use.

karen henderson: Don’t recommend this company. They forgot to put hip shingles on our roof under decorative tile. They broke & had to buy a few tiles. They bought green & sprayed them clay color. The first rain showed their deceit. We tried to talk to Dustin, the president . He heard our problem but never wanted to come out & view the problem. Their rude receptionist, Norah berated our house several times as a couple hundred years old( It just turned 100 in Webster Groves). We hired Kirberg roofing to fix their mistakes. If you have any issues, they will not fix. Yes, we have lots of pictures to verify this complaint.Service:Roof installation
NotLandon ._.: Contemporary solar just did our solar panels. Everything went well, our last electric bill was only $12. We looked into multiple solar installers but contemporary had the best price. Glad we choose them!
Andrew Miller: I have a tricky leak and scheduled an inspection with their best leak detector Dustin. I paid $45 for the upcoming inspection and changed my day around to meet Dustin and show him through the leak. (The window for the appointment was between 3:00 -5:00pm) At 4:50 I called because the sun had set and no one reached out to me. (It’s literally the shortest day of the year. My appointment was during the winter solstice.) They apologized for not showing up and rescheduled for the next day from 3:00- 5:00. I stated that with the sun setting so early and being a no show the day before couldn’t they do it earlier. Norah stated that she would try to get Dustin there as soon as possible. Next day at 4:30, with the sun already set they called to state they would be there in about 20 mins. They expected to do a whole inspection in the dark. Clearly not worth my $45 dollars. So I cancelled. I wish I would not have wasted my time and scheduled with another company from the get go. Norah was polite and they did refund my money. I just wish they would have told me they were too busy to assist me. I respect companies like that not ones that schedule you for service then don’t deliver.

Knowledgable, professional, fast, and educating me on several things i did not know about my home and solar panels. If you already have solar and need repairs, LOOK NO FURTHER. Dustin is a trusted pro and Nora kept us informed every step of the way. So grateful to have finally found them.

Aldin Hasic: I would never recommend their company. They charge for an estimate and fail to provide any follow up around it. The gentleman was late - well beyond their scheduled time. I had to call their office multiple times to check in and was told they would have him call me. No calls ever occurred. He was on the property for 10 minutes, never received a follow up estimate. I had to call their office and still haven’t received an estimate. They are now refusing to refund the estimate fee on a service they never performed or followed up. I’ve had 2 other companies come out and already send over estimates where they both followed up like they said they would. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.

G: Contemporary Roofing was a great company to work with. They were extremely responsive to our questions and concerns. We had both the roof and gutters replaced; however, these replacements were scheduled a couple weeks apart.This is the only reason a star was deducted. It would have been more convenient for our schedules to have both services completed at the same time. The crews were on-time and worked hard. The crew replacing the roof, were extremely hard workers and diligent at cleaning up the yard of trash and screws/nails. The quality of the work and materials are fantastic. I love the store, but one person cost you a sale and now a star.For today 4-29-2023 around 1715 I waited at a check out along with everyone else at 5 or 6 other check outs backed up. I waited in my line and the associate rang up my items and I proceeded to pay and she told me this was cards only, no cash. I mentioned that there was no sign or poorly indicated that this was for cards only. No response.She started deleting the items that she rang up and started looking over to other checkouts and I just said forget it. Take the cart. Which cost you a customer today. Due to This experience I'm not inclined to make this my first choice. Today my money will go to your competition. ~ SB************Previous review which still stands from 2 years ago.I had never been here before and when I walked in I was stunned to see how clean, organized everything was and seeing it was a two-level Menards with just about equal space on the second level as the first.There are two escalators which you can go up and down on with your cart and also an elevator. You could walk around in there for a couple of hours. Just about everybody working there asked if I needed help. I went in for a few things and I could not find one and the other is an online order. An associate named Larry who stocks the shelves helped me, stopping at one or two computer stations and they led us to the item. The other I wanted would have been on the 2nd level, but it's hard to find and needed ordering.. Larry was awesome as he stayed with me to make sure I found what I needed. Thank You Larry! I wandered around for quite a while just seeing if there were new things or something I needed that I had forgotten about.Being from out of town from Rolla Missouri the Menards in Rolla (which I like as well) is like a shed compared to this one. I will visit this Menards when I am back up towards St Louis area. I want to thank everyone for helping and answering questions. Keep up the great work!
Ann Na Belle: No service in this area is of quality, but I figured cutting sheet flooring would be simple enough. I was proven incorrect. I’ve never seen anyone cut a 12’x12’ sheet and STILL proceed to roll it the 12’ way. Not only is it unnecessarily cumbersome, it hides an incorrect cut.

It took me three days with the scaffolding and they sent the police to my house because they assumed that I wanted to keep it. That same night I go and pay the difference and rent the scaffolding for one more day, the next day when I went to return it, I returned it a few minutes late and they charged me the full day. So they charge you more if you spend the time for a few minutes and if you spend more than one day they send the police to your house. DO NOT RENT TOOLS IN MENARDS.

Terry Mazdra: I would give Menards five stars, but some of the plants were dry and look like they were dying.
MT Hamma: Good employees, terrible management. The employees make this store 2 stars instead of 1 star. Management needs overhauled or investigated badly. Most have a rude, uncaring tone and seem not to practice the customer service that should be standard for any business especially ones in charge of other employees or on management. This attitude and lack of customer service is mostly on management. Again most employees are fine, it is most of management slowly adopting this I don't care attitude. There may be some good managers, but they must be in a lower position or are not enforcing corporate policy with their peers, or very few on number.

The reason they are considerably more competent is not because they are doing something unique.. they are well trained and knowledgeable as one would hope employees would be in all business, but Home Depot and Lowe's are so f'n utterly incompetent that Menards looks like they've employed the Justice League 🤣I love Menards and appreciate all they do with respects training, management, customer service, and selection!
Sara Lorentz: This store is close to my home and I visit for home needs often.You can get anything you need for the home here from new construction to remodeling to decorating and even cleaning and upkeep.They have the best selection of light fixtures from any of the big box stores. They also have a great outdoor and seasonal furniture selection (patio, bbq, christmas, etc.).Prices are very reasonable and they have a nice return policy for those times you don't know which fixture you need and have to return.Employees are usually available for help and usually are helpful.I don't love the checkout system used here, I find it annoying and a bit awkward, but I guess you can't have it all.Also they always run rebates. These are not easy to redeem as you must mail data in, even if you fill it out online already and more than once I never received my rebate in the mail.
