Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Jacqueline Lay: The Representative I spoke with today was very helpful and professional by informing me of what data I needed to bring when I visit one of the other offices until this location reopens.
Mary Nahm: I set up a phone appointment on October 13 for December 5. I received a mailed confirmation. I have now waited 3 HOURS past the appointment time. No phone call. Called their # and after 18 minutes on hold was disconnected. No business would survive with this level of incompetence.
Amanda Sweeny: Fast quick service i wouldve gotten in quicker had i known that i need tk undress and ho thru metal detectors ...not really undress butbu know what i mean.
Phyllis Williams Robinson: Nice experience was very helpful, knowledgeable and fast!
Diana B: I went to the Social Security office twice recently. The first time I went to drop off some paperwork and found that I was missing a form which was provided to me very kindly by the person who assisted me. The second time I was just dropping off the additional form. Both the representative who helped me and the security guards that I encountered on both visits were super polite and helpful. It was really a positive encounter and I so appreciate the help that I received! Highly recommend.
Carly Finegan: Quick service, presented my documents and was out within a half hour. Friendly staff! Note I arrived after 1 pm on a Monday, there weren't many other people there.
Liss: Very inhumane. I’m a disgusted and sadden by the way people are treated in mostly black neighborhoods where this location resigns. Only 7 people allowed in the air conditioned building in 90-100+ degree weather they ask the rest of the line to stay seated outside and wait. I asked politely if I could receive a call due to the extremely hot conditions so that I could wait in my car where I could at least flick on the air condition and I was told no it’s just their rules to make us wait in the heat even during heatwaves. The weather is so hot that it could cause me to pass waiting outdoors out as well as the the children who had to wait with their guardians.
patrick cunningham: I tried to go this morning, and they have moved!
Ya Wang: This one is permanently closed according to a staff. The nearest one is 717 north 16th st in downtown. Sucks
prashant ahuja: People were very helpful there.
Deng Weiye: Trash, even worse than trash. I would give zero star there is an option.
Nayah playz McKenney: What’s going on why is all the offices in Stl down
Jacques May: Horrible have been calling last hour the call waiting eventually will go silent. it looked ke it just disconnects after ten minutes of waiting.
Jennifer Nattabi: I waited for ages to be connected to the agent but as soon as I started speaking, the agent hanged up on me. So rude!!!!
Pk Rollz: They never answer their phones and you be on hold for ever
DJ Nasty Nino: the lady was very nice nasty, trying to rush me off the phone.she did not want to repeat info i was asking for. I never finished the conversation nor did i get my answers. VERY IGNORANT!
heavyseven88: It's much slower than being able to get inside to see someone, I needed to get a new SS card, and it's taking a long time to get by mail, but the DMV has walk-in service now
kaira hudson: Not being able to go into the building and get a Social security card is extremely frustrating, time consuming and annoying. Please fix this
bamba kane: Fair organization, open late
Mirah Johnson: They answer fast! They helped me so much!!!!
xiaohui liu: Impolite attitude! I call the office, either No one answer or available agent answer the phone say No words and hang up.

Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Kevin Harris: You guys must think it's funny what's up with that ignorant rude security guy
Ronald Kruse: The security guard told me they were closed and locked the doors in my face at or around 3:45PM on May 19, 2023. The publicly posted hours state closing time is 4PM. I had to sit in so much traffic just to get there and be told "We closed bruv"😒
kabita neupane: Worst experience I've ever had. I have to wait more than 2.5 hours for my turn. There are four windows too many people to work but only one window open at a time. They are super slow and didn't value our time. I had never thought the system of here in USA is also like this worst. I wish I could never have to go there again.
Mohammed Abdulkareem: They need more professional and cheerful security guard. He looked so depressed and in a bad mood!
Chey Wright: Came around 2:30pm and the doors was locked. Knocked on door for about two minutes before the rude ‘security guard’ finally came and said they have an hr wait and they are not letting no one in because they close at 4pm and by the time they handle the people waiting inside it would be closing time. Technically Your open till 4pm not 3:30 so more ppl could of came in or waited. Like I said nasty rude fake security. Get it together
Ana Chourio: Excelente atención y recepción. Muy ordenado y progresivo
Kelsey Stringer: Was hesitant to go to this SSA location after reading the previous reviews. Had a good experience overall - I waited about 30 minutes, once my number was called the whole process took about five minutes.I would recommend bringing the correct documents need and bring any forms filled out, if possible, for a smooth process.
Jeff Hoffmann: Security guard is rude... They don't care
Sara Jaggie: I stood in line for three hours to get my daughters Social Security card Copy it never came in the mail, so I kept the receipt like they told me and then brought it back in to inquire about her card, and they made me wait in line for another three hours again When I called the one 800 Line as I waited they told me that there was no record that it was ever requested …
Patricia Northcutt: Encouraged to make an appointment, I attempted and was on hold for 55 minutes. When I finally spoke with a representative, first she told me I wasn't entitled to receive the benefit I was inquiring about. But when I questioned her response, she checked and began the intake information needed. After 20 minutes, she informed me that no appointments were available at all. She advised me to call back in 7 working days to try again.
Wikly Bad: Very disappointing!!!!Why are there 4 windows, but has only one functioning, as multiple voices and laughs are being heard in the background? Why are we wasting tax dollars like this? What are the public officials doing about this unprofessionalism? Disgusting attitudes too!
BAJRAM BEQIRI: 10371 PARKMAN Dr st. Louis Mo 63123 Lakeshire
Najib Azizi: The worst service ever.
Shelly Mcgee: Need more employees.
Vahid Moradi: There is 4 windows here, only one of them works. You should wait here more than 3 , 4 hours just to get answer a question 👎They are so slow 🐌
Tracy Burks: Don't recommend going here unless you want to wait for several hours. Only one person working and over 20 people in the waiting room. One lady had been waiting since 10am and she was #5...I got #20 when I came in at 11.Security guard pleasant, said it's only been one person for the last two months. Poor guy working the counter... I imagine just as frustrating for him as everyone waiting.
Amanda Massey: The worker I spoke with was super helpful. Too bad I can't review the people that you have to talk to on the 1-800 line
Kenshiro Hohm: Only one person working. Wait is unnecessarily long. Security’s attitude needs adjusting.
Elisabeth Kenney: I was so stressed out about going and put it off forever but no complaints for me personally. The weather was nice so the outside line wasn't an issue for me, although they definitely should have an awning or something for the days it's not if they're going to keep restricting the number of people inside. The security guard was really pleasant and explained why they had the outside line and brought people in as soon as there was room, and the actual Social Security guy was awesome. He was business-like and kept things moving, but he wasn't impersonal and he clearly knew his job well. I could see he was genuinely helping people with more complicated problems than mine - everyone I saw go ahead of me once I was inside left happy and relieved-looking. Maybe I just lucked out with the staff today but it was great! Never expected such a pleasant experience at a government building.
Bonnie Brumpton: Used this office three times...always treated well and was taken in order that I came in...no problems!
Jamie Schroeder: Terrible. Unless you are prepared to wait in a line that doesn't move outside in the heat, avoid this location. Security is beyond rude! Don't request a chair for the elderly who are struggling to stand unless you want to get barked at for even asking. Watson location DO BETTER! Go to any other location while the staff at Watson get re-trained. If you are in management, please pay the staff at other locations better who are deserving of it.

Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Rodney Jordan: They where very professional knowledge able, office ran very professional, security on point that's a A plus .I go tomorrow I have no appointment bringing mom also. I no we have a wait but that's cool it's nice clean no craziness thank you 😁
Dora Harrell-Bey: Love this place very fast and the workers are nice
Chino: Worst service ever! Don’t answer the phone so went there during business hours and office was closed.
Mavilma Holland: Very satisfied with their service..fast and accomodating..well..I always lucky to be there and not crowded ..
Paula Reno: I visited January 2, 2023 Wait was 15 Minutes. Guards were pleasant and helpful. Staff pleasant and very helpful. Highly recommend this office.
Josephinx Ziesman: Took a minute, but very helpful!
Roberta Black: Pleasant staff but not exactly LGBTQ+ friendly. Another issue with this office is seating. When you arrive you are placed in a vestibule with no seats for the physically challenged. I am legally disabled and I was forced to stand for about 30m until security allowed me into the office. Given that the SSA is required by law to affirm the ADA, and provide services for those who can't work because of disabilities. You would think there would be a procedure in place for people like me.
Leonildo Azevedo: I visited there on 08/22/2022. To be honest, I was very afraid to go there due to some reviews about the security guard and their behavior. However, to my surprise, I found a very kind and polite security guard, who gave pre-instructions and important tips. I'm sorry for the ones who had a bad experience there. I solved my problem in a few minutes without an appointment or problem at all.
Huanyue Liao: Really nice people, effective work, not wait too long without an appointment
Laura R: Clean, comfortable, and very nice staff. I was in and out in 20 minutes.
Chante Griffin: Nothing to say
Kemmy Anna: The security guard A. Lawrence is very rude, I’d really like to know where to report these people. I call and spoke with someone on the phone who told me to come to the office at 3pm on 3/22 to pick up a SSN verification letter. I drag my baby out in the cold and rain to go obtain this letter only to be greeted at the door by Mr Lawrence, “ do you have an appointment, i don’t see your name on the list”. He didn’t even care to find out who told me to come in. And turned around laughed in my face after I was on the phone trying to file a complaint about them, “ Good luck with your call”. This how you get treated after working and paying taxes. I was on the phone trying to get in touch with someone after all that for more than 2 hours and still no response.
Google Reviews: Closed due to construction.
Anne-Sophie Blank: Rude security officer, After I explained that I needed to make an appointment, he pointed at the phone number I should call because I could I could not do it in person. I called the number and waited 47 minutes the 1st me, was disconnected after 8 minutes the 2nd time, waited 30 minutes the 3rd time, only to be disconnected again. I am still waiting for the replacement of my SS card (my name was misspelled) on my previous card. That branch is a hot mess... I am giving up...
Jade Corbitt: Are you able to make any appointment for a replacement card at this specific office? Card is needed for housing services asap. The rating is toward the 800 number customer service agent that I had in particular. Very rude and never answered my questions. Never dealt with this particular office or its personnel yet.
Mohamed Olad: Nice and quick service great service from a to z thank you for your service and godb
Ebony loveyouP: They are great how can I make an apt too get in too get my son replacement social security card and me too
mbarissaner: Helpful, Friendly and Professional Team. Thank you
Kevin Childers: Always helpful, always crowded. Just a tip to the wise, try to go mid-month if possible. Also avoid Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Those are the busiest times and days.
Lyle Treadwell: The staff and is honest and there to help
Maurice Smith: I don't love it just something to do

Social Security Administration: what do users think?
Rosie “GranGran”: I was in there less than 30 minutes and completely satisfied with the service I received.
Cassia Jordan: Great service
KARMA IS COMING: Great customer service. Handled my situation with knowledge and respect. Thank you!
DENNIS WILLOUGHBY: Is because you sit there for hours on the phone and they want to sit there and say okay get back with you and when they do get back with you to hang up on you
Sharon Franklin: Alrighty
Bessie Hairston: Mrs.kemp was so nice and helpful, she done everything she said, very professional.
zainab zolita: Most horrible place ever, they can't do anything right. Something needs to be done about this place its ridiculous.
Katie: Called four other SS offices trying to get a question answered, had dropped calls or was left on hold for almost an hour. The East St Louis office picked up in less than two minutes and was so pleasant in helping with my questions!
Daniel Godoy: You don’t get any help there at all. They keep putting you on hold and never come back. Then they hung up.
Latashabaileyaustin Austin: I just called talked to someone then hung up on no call back or anything why answer if you don’t want to help smh
Mike Nulsen: I am currently being held liable for an SSI overpayment that happened from 82’ to 91’. That puts the overpayment beginning when I was 4 and continued until I was 13. My father was not a good father. He is now deceased and my mother has memory loss. They said they “assume” the extra money went towards my benefit. If you count my dad going out every night being on drugs and getting drunk, than yeah. SSI should know better than to “assume” something like this. The total I am being forced to pay back is $18600.00. I currently survive off of my once monthly disability payment. Now with them wrongfully taking money out of my disability I am severely struggling to pay bills/medical expenses/medicine. Two of the many medicines are required to live. I’m picking and choosing what I get and going days before getting some refilled. You should feel protected by your own government. Mine is taking money I don’t have for something my deceased father did over 30 years ago. This just makes me feel sick and saddened.
Belinda Harris: They need a drop box because I sent items there and nobody can find them. I had to send in paperwork because someone who works there changed my birthday in the system, now I’m stuck in limbo because of them.
Darnell Murray: Staff are efficient and we'll prepared to assist me.
Antaneisha Hoskins: I called the number and was on the phone for a hour and still haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone this is my second day trying to talk to them
Frank Murphy: Slow people on vacation I mean long lunch breaks the lobby hold about 50 people well today it was about 65 people with no movement in sight it was also like that in st.louis nxt to the art Museum just need a copy of my social security card for wrk.
Precious S: Theses people are not friendly but the guard is cool as hell.
Jeremy Genin: Federal building in Estl
Kenneth Moore: I am very impressed on how professional they are and answered all my questions and resolved my problem think you
Sarah Wiszkon: I went to this Social Security office when I lost my social security card because it was the only one I could get to without having to take time off work. It was easy to get to; security was excellent (polite & thorough, but not intimidating); the staff was exceptionally friendly; my wait time was reasonable (and I went towards closing time); and the facility was clean & comfortable. Don't let the location turn you off - I didn't feel unsafe about myself or my vehicle at all.
