C Smith: This is now one of my favorite BBQ places in the St. Louis area. I had the ribs, and they were falling off the bone tender. The food was all great and the people were really friendly. I accidentally dropped the salt shaker and broke it, and they were super nice about it. Add to all this the fact that there is also a gun range, and it becomes an iconic Midwest experience. I highly recommend trying this out!

Karen Stewart: Great experience here. As a non shooter the area that I had to wait in was comfortable, a lodge feel, there is a pool table and they do offer memberships. It was a beautiful day outside so I also took advantage of the picnic tables out front to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

The prices are the best I've seen anywhere. The staff is great and not stuck up. Also very knowledgeable. My wife and I go allot. I've also brought friends. A new range opened 3 miles from my house. I still travel the 18 miles to Sharpshooters. Keep up the great work.

Teale Jones: I don't think I’ll fully be able to express how much we adored working with Wild Carrot for our wedding, but I will try. We booked Wild Carrot before we had even moved to St. Louis, but we knew we were moving to the Shaw neighborhood and were hooked on the perfect aesthetic and supporting a local business. We booked and then moved to St. Louis and were amazed with how personable Laura and Casey were- they would randomly see us walking by or at neighborhood meetings and remember who we were and that we were getting married there. The whole team including Grace and Marie were attentive and always willing to answer any question we had. We did a signature drink tasting with Luc who also worked our wedding and were just blown away. We have had multiple guests tell us it was by far the best open bar they’ve ever experienced at a wedding (and we agree). We truly had the most perfect night and we owe that to Wild Carrot. We will recommend them time and time again. Thank you so much for everything you did for us!

Gregory Chandler (AlternativeOne): It's a pavilion on a hill. There's not much that I can say about it, there's a really nice fountain down the hill in front of it that everybody uses as a swimming pool.I use the park daily for skateboarding and exercise there are a lot of steps that you can run up and down for exercise. The payment is rough so it's not ideal for skateboarding.The scenery and atmosphere is always pleasant. It's a nice place to sit and chill while the sun goes down.It's hard to explain but sunset in the park has this almost magical kind of energy. I always feel grateful for being alive and happy that God allows me to experience something so special.

There are tons of steps to go up and down if you want to get a good workout in. There’s also lots of flat grassy areas to use. The large fountain is nice in the summer months.

You almost feel like Lewis and Clark staring at the wide open spaces before you.

We planned our wedding long distance as we are located in Chicago and the team at A.Casa made it so easy for us and I had zero worries. We knew immediately when we did a virtual tour that it was right for us and our crowd and the guests had a fantastic experience. We also have many children in our families and the parents felt comfortable with their kids being in the space. I only wish we were local so we could host something else with A.Casa again!
Jessica Sheldon: I got married here in June 2022 and I can not say enough good things about Megan and the staff of a casa. Everyone was so friendly and genuinely helpful I was blown away. Megan answered all of my emails (and there were a lot) promptly when helped me bring my vision to life, and kept me on track with things I didn’t even know I was supposed to be keeping track of.Our venue package included the bar package, china rentals, and furniture. Megan coordinated with the caterer and rental company to make sure everything we needed that they didn’t have was taken care of. They even had some decor available for me to use which was so helpful for last minute items to bring everything together (candles, extra picture frames, etc). I am also not ashamed to say that a huge plus for us was that were two bars so no one waited for a drink the entire night.The best part about the space is that it is truly so customizable and versatile while still being so intimate that you can create a totally unique experience and Megan and her team will help bring it to life. I can not say enough good things about a casa and the staff there.

Casa and it was the most beautiful and perfect day thanks to Melody and Megan!!!When we originally toured the property we were blown away by the positive personality and knowledge that Melody shared with us.Walking into the venue itself makes you feel like you are stepping into a beautiful home in a France. Casa already created the perfect wedding oasis.We had a couple planning meetings prior to our event, which was so helpful to get advice and ideas from the experts themselves.Our wedding day was raining the whole day up until the ceremony and Megan did an amazing job keeping me (the bride) calm and positive. Ashley Windler: We hosted the most beautiful rehearsal dinner for my brother at a.casa and the staff, service and overall details just exceeded my expectation. a.casa is a gorgeous venue that has beautiful finishes, furniture, and overall atmosphere. As an event planner, more and more venues feel like blank, cold spaces that need to have an abundance of florals or rentals brought in to make it feel warm, inviting and comfortable, but not a.casa. They have truly done a beautiful job designing a space that is instantly inviting and married it with exceptional service. They are definitely at the top of my recommendation list to all friends, family and clients!
Emma Gibson: We had our wedding at a.casa a couple of months ago and it was a wonderful experience. We had to downsize our wedding and change venues due to the pandemic. Melody helped us figure out a new plan and was so accommodating during the entire process. She, along with all of the other staff, truly made the process and day of worry free and super easy. When it stormed all afternoon on the day of the wedding, she coordinated with all of our vendors to move the event inside. We didn't have to stress at all because we knew she had it handled. The venue itself is beautiful and we loved all of the furniture and decor that is in the space. It feels very modern and fits in well with the city around it. The cocktail options and bar selection are thorough and everything I tried was tasty. We would not hesitate to host another event at a.casa.
