Erin Mohr: I opened my salon on June first, so the weeks before my doors opened we were painting every surface. We were just going to home depot because it was easy for us, but when it came down to doing the floors I wasn't getting consistent advice. I was told by a friend to go to sherwin williams because they are the experts. I really wished I would have gone sooner. I was set up with a water based concrete stain and a wet look sealer. We also went back for other paint to do the doors and our wooden salon stations.Every visit I was treated with respect by someone who was friendly and very knowledgeable. I definitely felt that my service was very good, but here's where that good service turned into exceptional service.I started noticing that my floors were not holding up to the high traffic of the salon. I started getting paint chips coming up. I called the store and they said they had two options that would be stronger. So they set aside a gallon for me to try in an inconspicuous area. The result was just what I needed. On the weekend after Thanksgiving I closed my salon to do 1/2 of the floors( I will be doing the other 1/2 after Christmas) When I went in to grab the additional gallons of this new water-based urethane I was talking to the manager ( did not know he was the manager at the time) I was telling him how I loved the look of the paint but was disappointed in how it held up. He agreed and comped the remaining gallons i needed for the job, I was shocked and did not expect that, I just wanted them to know. The floors are breathtakingly beautiful with this new top coat and i tried to test them by sliding furniture on them and they seem to be holding up well! Sherwin williams stands by their products and goes the extra mile for their customers. Later in the week he stopped by to make sure I was happy and to see the floor. I have told so many people about their customer service and from this point forward will only be getting my paint from a sherwin williams store.

Sandra Miller: The staff is friendly and the store is easy to find but the prices are ridiculously high for their products. I love the fact that you can establish an account but it didn't do any good if you can't keep accruing discounts in real time for every dollar spent. That's my experience with this location and my company has spent quite a bit here this past year because we didn't want to drive farther to Home Depot while on the job. Learned a hard lesson because the costs were higher for a cheaper product. In referring to the pure white paint they sell. It doesn't cover good and it's 38 dollars and change. Might as well went to Home Depot and bought the Sherwin Williams brand there... better quality.

When I called the store, I was so happy to find that they still had my paint colors saved in the computer for my garage. It made ordering more paint so easy since I could only find one of the three paint cans. I was able to order and pay for it over the phone. When I got to the store, they shared they did not have quarts, but gave me gallons for the quart price. I was amazed by the service, ease of purchase, and helpfulness at this store. I was so thankful because I was on a time crunch and needed to paint the garage that same afternoon and did not have time to run from store to store. I would definitely recommend them. They know paint and good service!! Thanks for a great purchase experience!

Both were helpful when I had questions regarding paint colors and second guessing myself. This last visit, Dillion helped me determine a grey to use along a trim in room we painted red. Had it not been for his advice, I would have disliked the color I originally chose. We will continue to buy our paints here based on their knowledge and customer service.

I chose to come into Sherwin Williams because I wasted 4 hours painting my front door with paint from a local big-box store. long story short - I wanted black, but the big box store gave me dark purple. The two reps at Sherwin Williams were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and gave me tremendous confidence that I would know what I was getting. They set me up with an account, and made a new customer for life. No more big-box store paint for me.

Stacy Kistler: **Don’t buy the Cashmere!** The store is clean, bright, and stocked with a lot of paint supplies. The person who mixed the paint was very polite and helpful. When I asked which paint gives the best coverage, she recommended the cashmere. (I was painting a white wall, no primer needed.) It looks great, but omg the VOCs are horrible!! 5 days later, with all of the windows open, 70 outside w low humidity, and fans running, the room still smells like paint! I have never experienced anything like this, and I have painted multiple rooms at once using Valspar, Behr, PPG, etc. Even using drylok in my basement didn’t smell like paint for this long. If I ever buy SW paint again, I’ll try their low VOC one.Edit: SW quickly replied to my review offering to assist me. I don’t know how they’d correct the issue of me not being able to use my home office for a week!

Amie Hemenway: ALL the employees that work at this location are wonderful. Nick is a great store manager and has come to my rescue more than a few times. The new Emerald Rain Refresh exterior paint is GREAT. It repels water and the raindrops bead up and wash down my exterior brick. Before, after a thunderstorm, my brick would be splattered with mud and mulch. Now, it always looks freshly painted! Great team at this location. They are careful to look at specs so that I can avoid mistakes. They don't act put out to spend the extra time it takes to correctly advise you. Keep up the good work! Oh, and the loxon primer is tremendous too.

Ruth Thaler-Carter: Had an excellent experience with the Sherwin-Williams store at 9818 Clayton Road, Ladue, MO, this week. Helpful staffperson on the phone and prompt, courteous, helpful service at the store. I've used Sherwin-Williams paint for my living room, dining room, hallway and kitchen, and now for both bathrooms, and have been very pleased with the color selection and appearance of the paints.

David Bolus: I went in to get a color called "Intuitive". I already had some on the walls at home, which my contractor had purchased from this store. When I got the paint home I opened it only to find it was the wrong color. Apparently, there is more than one color called "Intuitive" that SW sells. I would expect the sales person to know this and to ask me which one is accurate before mixing the paint and sending me on my way. Now I have to go back. Time lost!

Used the paint and the colors turned out pretty however didn’t know that it took 30 days to “cure”. Had an issue with tacky paint sticking to the glass top I out on 3 weeks after painting. And the bottom drawer almost stuck shut.5-2-2020 - after Eric, the manager, at my store contacted me, we talked and he refunded me half the cost of the paint due to my problems with the paint. I did repaint the top with a brush this time, and it dried quickly and looks great! Originally I used the 4' 3/8 nap rollers and the paint must have gone on too thick so be careful to not get too much pain on the roller. It's been 3 weeks but I'm still letting it sit before I move it and put the glass top back on. I think this time it will work!
