Matthew Angeli: I needed to hire an off-duty police officer to watch a parking lot for a wedding event and was referred to Hudson Services by St. Louis City Police Department.The staff was very professional and were prompt to returning my phone calls and emails. After giving them the location, hours, and brief description of what I was looking for, they came back with a quote and agreement to sign. Since I was hiring as a private individual, I had to prepay the whole amount. I simply mailed a check and received confirmation from an invoice mailed to me.A couple weeks before the wedding (don't quite recall the exact time), the actual police officer called me and I was able to discuss with him what exact areas I needed to be guarded. On the day of the event at the start of the shift, the off-duty officer met with me and I was able to confirm what exactly I was looking for. I really appreciated being able to talk to the officer on the phone before the event and then meet him at the beginning of the shift.Overall, I had an excellent experience with Hudson Services in hiring an off-duty officer for a private event. In the future, I will definitely call them first!

Madison Blair: They never work past 8-9 unfortunately. Every time I have seen them in my neighborhood they are facing the opposite direction of the street, a street located in one of the most secluded, inactive, places. Not to mention when you call, they are not helpful at all and continue sounding like a broken record, “we don’t have anyone on duty there, I guess you’ll have to call county.” I guess I can’t blame them considering the company advertises that the starting pay is $22/hr when they really hire employees at the rate of “$17/hr and you can work your way up to $22/hr.” Hate to be the one to complain, but I pay way too much for something I can’t rely on.
Joshua Scruggs: Pay isn’t good. Law enforcement background yet only paid $16hrly won’t negotiate for ARMED mobile patrol. Called off for family emergency got ripped! Vehicles all have kite up dashes yet won’t let you use the newer ones! 1/10 wouldn’t recommend!*update* this company is beyond trash, they claim they tried to raise me $3 which they did but for only PT instead of FT hours so it’s a loose situation but I cut my losses and still would NOT recommend. You don’t believe me work for em and find out is what I will say

Jeffrey A Crane: This review is for the exemplary customer service given by one of your employees. Cindy Honaker, a site supervisor at the Keurig Dr. Pepper location is representing your company well. She is nice,friendly, and has a great personality. The professionalism and courtesy she displayed in doing her job went above and beyond . My wife and I were stranded when our car hit a pot hole. We were forced to pull off the road at the entrance to the Keurig Dr. Pepper factory. We called for a tow and had been waiting for a while. When I saw a security personnel coming our way, I was sure she was about to tell me that I had to move our vehicle. Ready to explain the situation, she instead asked if we were all right. I told her yes and that we had a tow truck on the way. We talked for a minute. She said if we needed anything for us to give her a Holla. 😀 I said thank you, and she went on her way. About 15 minutes later, she came back to our car with two bottles of cold water rapped in a couple of napkins. I was blown away by her thoughtfulness care and consideration. I can't explain how this made me feel. I wished I could have done something special for her. In this day and age and the time that we're living in her actions are rare, and she should be recognized for her work ethics. Keep it up, Cindy.

The footlocker in this same plaza has closed and it'll only be a matter of time for the other small businesses. I've lived 3 blocks away for the last 11 years and this is so sad. So my plan is to petition the plaza ownership to replace Allied Universal Security with a company that cares about the communities in which they serve! Perhaps a local security team would fair better here.

Diggs Lyah: I don’t think I made the right decision. My post has several positions available but people are leaving because they do not hire within as they tell you in the interview. There is no supervisor and several open positions. The Lt. does not communicate with staff I know I can be a better than him due to his ways of not communicating with us. They say you have to have supervisor experience but won’t give you a chance to be one without the experience, but yet they didn’t have none based off their success story told in the interview. Since I been here 4 people have left and their is talk of more leaving, if changes will not be made they might lose their contract. I thought I was happy because the client is a well known client downtown but this place is chaos on the inside. I changed my name because nothing is private not even the follow up text messages.

Did not get out of there until 2:00 in the morning I had to stay awake because none of the bosses knew what to do and wait for my post to open back up at 8:00 a.m. to even get my vehicle out which my boss did not get hold of me until 9:00 didn't get home until 10:00 then they called me at 12:00 to ask why I was not at my post or maybe because y'all messed up and had me locked in my post most of the night then think I can turn around and go to work with no sleep we are not machines you do not pay enough for that..
