Mercy Conference and Retreat Center: what do users think?
Sarah Hernandez: Really nice, long labyrinth and lots of good walking trails. It's about a 25 min drive for me but I will definitely be visiting again.
Rachel A.: This is by far the nicest retreat center I have experienced in St. Louis. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and the grounds and chapel are beautiful. I highly recommend the Mercy Center for anyone looking for a private retreat or to book a group retreat.

White House Retreat: what do users think?
Janis Mensah: Queers are not welcome here. I can personally attest to this unfortunate truth. I drove 40 minutes from my home in search of what I found at the White House Retreat once before: "a renewal of mind, body, and spirit" through quiet discernment. This time, I was turned away before I could find it. Within 15 minutes of my arrival, I was told by White House Retreat Director Bill Schmitt, "you can't be here." I refuse to accept Bill's behaviour today as a reflection of the Faith. Still, I will not go where I am not welcome. At a place where the slogan is "you belong here," somehow, I do not.
Leslie Snider: After 17 years, with the same group of Gentlemen, Friends, Brothers each year, right about this same time, I can only say go once. You will return. Yesterday at the closing lunch we celebrated with one of our fellow Retreatants...60 years of this indescribable gift we share.Interesting feeling - you want so badly to not leave, you miss it already, but at the same time you're already looking forward to next year. It's just the coolest thing...It's like, this is how you can best recharge your Spiritual batteries at the most beautiful charging station...go. He's calling...
Jim P.: An amazing experience of solitude and peace. Totally letting go and letting God.
Dan Murphy: The retreat is decompressing and right-sizes a person's priorities
Denise Darnell: A very beautiful, relaxing and spiritual experience.
J.D. Betzen: A fantastic place to come for retreat, with several devotional areas, outdoor stations of the cross, beautiful trails and views, and an Ignatian emphasis on silence
Mark Zumwalt: It helps to recenter me on my path .
Britt Dwyer: Best Retreat House ever!I moved to Oregon 4 years ago and I really, really miss the annual silent Retreats at the White House! Such an amazing and peaceful place and I highly recommend it to everyone! You will most definitely grow closer to Christ here! Amen and Alleluia! 👍🙏❤️
Kent Davis: It lends itself to listening inwards instead of being distracted by the outside ‘noise’
Nathan Cobb: Amazing hospitality
Daniel Mascarenhas: Great place to relax and reconnect with God. The Jesuits there are wonderful spiritual directors and retreat leaders. The grounds are beautiful, set on a bluff, overlooking the Mississippi. Some gorgeous sunrises if you are up early. The chapel is lovely stone building that has a prayerful atmosphere.
Melissa and Jon Snudden: Great place to disconnect and get close with the lord.
Tom Moroni: Holy ground of inspiration and reflection
Michael F: I always feel closer to God while there, and come away with questions answered.
John Balmer: I have previously been on several retreats and I really enjoyed them .Unfortunately I made a reservation for a retreat and because I wasn't part of a church group I had to put up a $50.00 deposit. I was on the wait list because the retreat was full. When I canceled the reservation I was supposed to get a refund. I never got the refund but they say they processed the refund. The bank my credit card is with says they have never received it. When I contacted them they said there is nothing they can do about it.
Jeffery “Jeff” Arnel: Great place to feel the presence of the Lord
Amber Burks: I've have been here 9 times, love it each time.
Gary Menard: Wonderful retreat center. Beautiful views of the river.
D J Milford: I've attended retreats here for several years. The grounds, rooms, meals, and hospitality are outstanding. It's definitely holy ground!
John Behan: The place to go on a retreat, the grounds are beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the food is excellent. The chapel is beautiful as well. I look forward to my annual retreat.
Jeff Osborn: Nice quiet place to take some R&R from the daily grind and get your Spiritual Batteries recharged

Mark Maxwell: Very welcoming staff. Beautiful rural-like environment near the suburbs. Clean, well maintained facilities.
Susie Q Quilting: Very hospitable
Cardamom Bruh: not good. not good at all. swimming pool bad. basketball court bad. bed uncomfy. found fences in the pews at mass.
Andrew Totsch: Retreat Center is amazing and staff is extremely accommodating to the needs of guests. We had numerous dietary restrictions and they catered to each one from gluten-free to vegan. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. A lot of ground to walk around. They have an indoor basketball court and swimming pool. Rooms do not have televisions which makes them a good place to unplug and find your inner peace. My organization uses this location for our spiritual retreats.
Rachel de Almeida Oliveira: We had an absolutely wonderful time on our Kairos retreat. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The facilities were exactly what we needed, and the food was delicious! Our retreatants enjoyed the beautiful chapel and outdoor areas. I am very pleased with our experience and plan to be back!
Parish Secretary: We certainly enjoyed our stay - staff was so helpful, meals were delicious, beds were comfortable, and the facilities are so well-kept and clean. It's a joy to have our retreat at Pallottine.
William Bolte: Great retreat center focused on Christian youth faith enrichment.

Toddhall Retreat Center: what do users think?
Cyndi “Cyndi”: I go to Todd Hall with a group and on my own for quilting. The rooms are comfortable. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The meals are delicious. The grounds are lovely. It’s close enough to home to be easy to get to it but it is quiet and secluded for a relaxing visit.
Liz Bauer: Absolutely beautiful! The staff went above and beyond, were so kind, and caring! Everything was so clean, well-kept, and taken care of! It’s conveniently located, not too far off the beaten path but quiet, relaxing, and immersed in nature! Highly recommend!
Sioux Roslawski: A group of teachers used Toddhall for a writing retreat in the fall of 2016. We found the place perfect. The location was far enough from St. Louis that we felt like we were getting away, but not so far that we had to drive hours and hours.A couple of the writers in our group were gluten free. They thought they'd have to forgo bread but no--arrangements had been made for gluten-free bread, which was an unexpected treat. One writer was vegetarian. There were veggie burgers for her. When we had our last meal, a couple of people in our group had left early. The kitchen staff encouraged us to take to-go containers home, since the meals were paid for anyway. This is unheard of. (The food was delicious, too.)The price is reasonable, and the staff is friendly. I would highly recommend it for any kind of retreat you might be planning.
patricia hall: We use Todd Hall Retreat Center to hold quilt retreats. Jim and Mark are very accommodating and take care of our every need. The cost is very reasonable and it is easy to get to from the St Louis area. It is a very scenic and calming environment where you can get close to nature and forget your everyday worries.
