Maurice Gentry: A very nice place to live! 💯
Lamon Pickens: Visit my Aunt
Michelle Anderson: Manager has a very very nasty attitude
Opinionated Scents: The owners of the building should be locked up with the way they handled covid and the infestation of mice and bed bugs. They have an office mgr. named Margot or (something like that) who literally does as little as possible. She brings in people who can't care for themselves or get out of bed which is against the rules. They allow for apartments to be so unclean that infestations occur. It's so sad to see the elderly treated this way.
Robert Clemons: My favorite place to work!!
Shantia: This place is bug and rodent infested. I also believe there are bed bugs. This is very sad that our seniors are subject to this sort of living. I went to my relatives apartment and saw it for myself. He has nowhere else to go. This needs to be addressed. The facilitators are doing nothing about the problem either.
Carol Parker: It's a pitiful place to live. Can't have visitors. Have to wear masks now. Nothing to do. Boring
Carlisa Gabriel: Boring
Paula Thomas: Ok
Bonita Crape-Williams: Loud and rowdy people
KeAnna Morehouse: It's a good place
Jasmine Washington: My Granny Stay In This Building. They Her And Other Very Good
La Chawn Wright: Great place to work- I worked as security

shannon: I am confused what is hours open and what is hours to closed?
Andrew H.: Very nice community. Up and coming neighborhood. Great staff! My family member has been very happy there.
Patricia Cornell: Be careful with all senior facilities..especially free moves. Move good stuff yourself.......you know that@
Larry Johnson: My mother lives in Tower Grove Manor Apartments. I love that the building is so close to EVERYTHING she needs. There is a grocery and dollar store next door, restaurants all around her, beautiful park across the street and the Grand just keeps adding points of interest that we love.Tower Grove Manor itself is beautiful. From the historic entrance with marble floors and tiled ceiling, to the large community sitting areas, the dog park on site, the beautiful courtyard and it's lovely dining room, there isn't anything she needs that isn't close! There's even a free gym onsite, and she has access to a personal training by the Tower Grove Manor Director how is a certified Occupational therapy assistant. I feel this is so important, because Mom stays more independent in her apartment and she keeps her current good health and mobility. The apartment is lovely, and roomy. Anytime we have an issue with the apartment, the maintenance team is right there to fix it.There is always someone at the front desk, and I feel that the extra security of a locked front door is so needed in these times. I have to be buzzed in to see my mother and I am happy about that. The business office has been wonderful to work with and the woman that takes care of Mom's billing is wonderful. She has even helped her with other bills, not related to Mom's account, graciously.I feel that Tower Grove Manor's staff is an extension of our family. I'm so glad Mom and I have them.
George Betts: Friendly environment, clean. Went there for a company conference and used one of their rooms. Didn't have any issues. It is an older building but most are within the city of Saint Louis.
Keiwauna Alexander: It was very hot and the ac wasn't working
Raymond Reckamp: Was her in a “Guest Appartments” for a month due to a a construction problem at my home. Getting signed in was quick, easy and friendly. Betsy May went out of her way to make me feel welcome. The other staff members as well as residents were equally welcomeing. Being a non-esident dealing with out side situations my come Ing and goings were not the norm. This however afforded me the opportunity to interact with front seat staff on many shifts and days of the week. All were friendly and helpful. In short TGM meet or exceed all of my expectations👍
Lisa Below: Betsey MayThis lady is a godsend. My mother moved in on Monday and she has been nothing less than conscious. I can’t thank her enough for what she has done and continues to do for my mom and the other residents. I will be in her debt for a long time to come.
Dennis Dehler: Receptionist is unprofessional and rude...plain and simple
eh umm hi fruitloops: The Secretary can't do her job correctly. If someone is asking a question you look them in the eye and answer.Juat because your boss is gone doesn't mean you have the right to act like a child.Complete nonsense!!!!!
Kathy Rowland: Every one is very friendly

Pacific Place Senior Living: what do users think?
mary Schoemehl: 40 residents live independently
Kimberly Berge: My mother wisely realized her house in Glendale had gotten to be a burden, so she moved to Pacific Place in 2001. She was a resident there for 14 years, until she passed this past December, 2015. The location in Old Orchard couldn't be better. The apartments are lovely, roomy & the grounds are beautiful.Having Big Sky Cafe down the hall is a big plus. But the real blessing was having Jane & Dave Sanders, the owners, playing such a big part in the residents' daily life. The staff is very caring and there are engaging, wonderful activities. . It was a Godsend for my Mom. Kim Berge
mary mcwilliams: I am grateful that my 95 yer old mother lives at Pacific Place and has been happy there since she came 8 years ago. The personal attention and scale of residence provide a supportive community that has enabled her to live largely independently all this time. The staff are well selected for a strong service orientation and genuine interest in helping residents. There are plenty of activities, like excursions to Baseball Village, on site exercise classes, and even bridge games. Having an excellent restaurant attached that offers a discounted rate to residents is a tasty alternative that is superior to a steam table, large cafeteria meal service at other institutions. It is a great comfort to me, half a continent away, that mother has such great care. My mother is very happy there too!
Lauren Curtis: Pacific Place is THE GREATEST! I think that having my mom live there has actually extended her life. They have a wide variety of things to do, she has met a lot of fun people and she is more active now than she was 10 years ago. She walks all over Webster Groves!

St. Louis Hills Assisted Living & Memory Care: what do users think?
John Steinmetz: I received a letter increasing my uncle's rent by 57%. It was first week of March to inform me the increase is in effect April 1st. I can understand the increase, but they should give a better advance notice so family has the option to make other arrangements. I am now rushing to find other options but forced to pay the high rental until then. I believe staff is fine but I have issues with management.
Rebecca Valicoff: Left my friend on toilet with legs dangling for 1 1/2 hours while she called for help over 15 times with call button! Please have some humanity!
BOB B: I would like to thank Sue and her wonderful staff for taking such great care of my dad. He was always clean and comfortable and the staff was very attentive to his needs.
Cindy Gillardi: Charter Senior Living is such a wonderful place for senior living. It is bright and cheerful and very clean. The rooms are spacious and nice and the staff is friendly and caring. Their new Executive Director is exceptional. She cares for and knows all of her residents and makes sure that their home is always lovely and comfortable for them. There are so many fun activities planned that everyone has a chance to keep busy if they choose to do so. I only hope they have an open room when I’m ready. I definitely recommend Charter Senior Living!
Helen Wynne: I was very impressed by my recent tour of Charter Senior Living Community. Staff went out of their way to be kind and helpful. Their chef prepared a great meal that accommodated my dad's dietary restrictions. He liked the spacious rooms with large windows, ample closet space, and a private bath. The Executive Director took time to speak with us and answer our questions. The Activities Director went over the programs that interest my father. We both recommend visiting Charter Senior Living to experience this caring senior community.
Gabriel Codada: Great service!
Danika Wysinger: Hate I accepted the job offer came in confused do not like these kind of facilities then all my hrs not on my check an they got attitudes cause I keep calling pay me for the work I’ve done!!!!!!! Same way they feel is how I felt putting gas in my car paying a person to watch my kids to go work here thinking I’m getting trained an on my own lost don’t know anything about the residents
Brian Hines: Charter Senior Living is a true family environment. The Management and staff are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and engaged. The food and activities are amazing and tailored to each residents preferences. Apartments are bright and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this community.
Paula Shumpert: Positive environment for senior loved ones.Great friendly staff. Activities fun and frequent and varied. happy hour on Friday has top notch entertainment, Evening movie matinees daily with freshly popcorn Beautiful chapel and beauty shop.Respite rooms fully and stylishly decorated. Can’t wait to retire!
TIME WITH TINY: Horrible. Front desk lady rude and didn't seem to care to greet me or help. Very unprofessional. They didn't tell me what all I needed to start working. I was going back and forth for three days. Once I finally started I wasn't told where to go wasn't given the information I needed. Only stayed one day.
Victor Migneco: Have heard that this used to be a motel.
John Behan: A GREAT retirement home, very nice facilities and people, everyone here seems to be happy, how often can you say that about a retirement home?

St Louis Altenheim: what do users think?
Laura Keller: My mother had a horrible experience there. It haunts me.
Karen Beeson: All of The Altenheim staff are friendly, personable and caring. I had extensive personal experience with loved ones in an eldercare environment when I first came to work as Receptionist 3 years ago. I respect and rely upon the level of TLC and professionalism shown.
autumn prestito: Altenheim is such a pleasant facility! The attention to detail was obvious as soon as I walked in. The staff is exceptionally kind. It is a comforting environment. It truly is a senior living boutique as opposed to a stereotypical "nursing home".
Angela Dixon: St. Louis Altenheim is a beautiful, peaceful community of incredible residents and amazing staff. The environment is impeccably maintained; offering gorgeous views of the Mississippi River, inclusive activities for the residents and stately sitting rooms for visiting with loved ones.
Donella Webb: Hello my name is Donella Webb McCullough and I am the Housekeeping Supervisor here at the Altenheim. I have worked here almost three years in a couple of different departments. The Altenheim is a wonderful place that our residents call home. I have worked in many nursing homes throughout the Metro area and I must say this one is the best. We are not perfect but we love our residents and they love us. We have lots of fun together. We listen when they have complaints and we do our best to fix them. We welcome the elderly with open arms......DRWMc
Jean Bardwell: A lot of history at the St. Louis Altenheim. Since 1899, the Altenheim has cared for older adults. Nestled on the bluffs of the Mississippi, a beautiful home that offers skilled care, assisted care, and memory care.
Jenta Connor: The building is a victorian style historical home. Each room is larger than the standard with round archways and high ceilings. There are so many great views of the river. The residents all look happy and well cared for. The staff are kind and welcoming.
kysumo Asid: Management are bad specially the administrator. Don’t know how to appreciate the employees! They lie to the residents and they don’t even have activities going on to make the residents busy… I feel sorry for them 😞
Sandra Jones: This facility is not at all a good facility, I recently worked There The management at this facility is very poor. I literally set and watch nurses lie about residents falling to family members And literally went over this Lie with the ADON, On top of that when I received my 1st check my pay was completely wrong, And still haven't received my Last check to this day, I also watched the office manager talk to the receptionist Like a piece of trash On several different occasions. The facility itself is not bad but the people there running it is is awful.
Tammi M: The Altenheim was recently purchased by a company. It is no longer a not for profit organizationMany changes are happening. I feel sorry for the residents and staff.
Kevin Childers: Went for the Author's presentation on the History of downtown St. Louis. Very interesting to see where it started and how it came to be as it is. The presentation was by local author, lecturer, and your guide, Ms. NiNi Harris, a life long local resident. Her book "Downtown St. Louis" is out in it's 2nd edition.
Michael Maddin: My father has been on the intermediate care floor at Altenheim for six weeks, after spending 2 months in two other well-rated facilities for rehabilitation. This is the first one where he hasn't said "I'm ready to leave" when asked how he is doing. The nursing staff is friendly, competent, caring, and responsive to his needs. The administration is easy to talk to and open to how best to meet his needs. Dad likes the meals (a first since he went into the hospital in November) and the dining room staff called him by name at the first meal and knew what he liked within the first week. In fact, every staff member that passes him in the halls greets him by name, as they seem to with everyone. We only looked at nursing homes rated 4 or 5 stars on the medicare.gov site. All the ones we looked were very nice and many of them were newer than Altenheim, which was started over a century ago in a mansion on a hill overlooking the Mississippi. When the current facility was built, they kept as much of the mansion's furnishings as they could. The result - a common area for the residents on the main floor that retains the atmosphere and tranquility of times past and common areas on every floor that have a lovely view of the river. The atmosphere is more comfortable than clinical, the rooms are primarily private, and the pricing is competitive. Dad's doctor recently asked him how he liked Altenheim. He said "It's very nice. I like it." High praise, indeed, since he had been living independently in his own home until 4 months ago.
Kate Hatfield: I encourage anyone looking for senior housing to come down to the Altenheim and see what makes this not for profit organization a special place. The staff care very much about the quality of care and service for every resident, every day. 5-Star Quality. One of only 15 homes in MO to be recognized as 2018-2019 US News Best Nursing Home and Team members recognized as 2018 Voyce Caregiver Award recipients.
Brenda Tullock Yaw: Great place
LaAngela Miller: Those 5 star ratings are from people that know each other! Lying fr a friend, is not being a good friend
Paul Andres: My mother has been a resident for 4 years now and she is extremely well cared for. The food and support services are great and, when medical issues occur (and at 93 years old they will), the Altenheim staff are well trained and observant, handling what they can in-house and when necessary managing her hospital admission. The staff seems to genuinely enjoy working with the residents and each other.
Theresa Woodley: As Marketing Director for the St. Louis Altenheim, we have just completed a resident and family satisfaction survey where 96% of our families and residents gave us a rating of good or excellent. You will not be dissappointed to see the difference the Altenheim makes when providing senior care. Please stop by for a visit!Theresa Woodley
kei lane: There very nasty has roaches and need remodeling

Village North Retirement Community: what do users think?
Gregg Bennett: My mother was a patient in the rehab section. They gave here a high dose of laxative and denied it. My mother was just getting over a 10 day bout with CDIF. This error had her living on the toilet for three more days. The nurse eventually called my sister admitting the mistake. She now has a soar on her butt from constant wiping. They don’t wash her clothes like they’re supposed to and when questioned some of the staff laugh and reply “whatcha lookin at me like that for? I ain’t in charge of your wash?”(housekeeping). I brought it up to the DON and she mumbled how it should have gotten done and they finally came and did it. She had a Dr. appointment and they allowed her to miss it. It’s not at all unusual to wait 30 minutes and as long as 50 to get your call light answered at night! This is the slow time right??? I suggest anyone considering this facility or being advised by sociol workers at CHNE or any other place, RUN from it just as fast as you can! Don’t fall for the new management line! They better get the old management back! God help the place if they were worse! My mother has been in and out of 16 seperate hospital and rehab visits for the last 2 year only being at home for 60 days of those 2 years. We’ve seen it all and I’m sorry to say this place is the worse! Sorry mom!
kimberly woods: Very clean, caring, professional staff,👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Laclede Groves - Lutheran Senior Services: what do users think?
Cecelia Buneta: About 9 months ago I had reached out to Laclede Groves to see if LG could assist my family and me in placing my elderly parents and handicapped brother. Tracie and Jen were so helpful in working with my family. Tracie and Jen made the transition very easy on us.Shawn has been great to work with and he has kept us informed on all of their needs. The staff was very helpful in taking care of my dad during his final days. The staff was very supportive in my dads final days.My mom and brother have been very happy with their stay at Laclede Groves They both stay on the bridge and the staff has been great with taking care of them. Our family has been very satisfied with the level of care mom and brother are continuing to receive. If you have any other questions please reach out.Thank you, Joe Buneta.
Elle Lang: I was very pleased with care my family member recieved here. The assistant nurse director was extremely helpful and the staff very attentive when I asked for help. The food was good and the place was small so pretty easy to navigate.
Alice Edler: Reach is nothing like it is billed by Jennifer. Perhaps being a hospital physician I was expecting more. But I have had problems with urinary infection and catheter care. The room is not conducive to healing mentally. The nurses are kind but very limited in their ability to correct problems. I think the problem lies higher up
Stephanie: Whatever you do do not leave the $1000 deposit with laclede groves. It will be explained as getting preferential treatment moving to front of line for services. But care can and will be denied when needed most
Eileen S: I was going to tour this place with my elderly parents but the woman on the phone was exceptionally rude. She used a short, nasty tone with my mom and told her “no one tours without reading my information first!” and “it’s $1000 to be on the waiting list,” among other statements that seemed like they didn’t want the bother of having to deal with us. I’m not at all looking for anywhere that’s going to treat my parents with little patience and like they’re a burden. I didn’t feel very welcome right at the gate so we marked it off our list to visit after just that call.
Sandy Lowther: If I could give a zero I would give it. My father was there for rehab and is a diabetic. After 2 weeks we discovered that he was not receiving his medicine getting finger sticks or even a diabetic diet. Sugars went threw the roof. When we confronted them they stated they had no idea he was diabetic. I guess they don’t read charts. Thank god he is not there any longer.
Margaret Adams: Jason was very helpful.I hope that he will soon be able to tell me where I am on the waitlist.
Brittney Alton: Good community and staff.
Dale Carlson: My father was in the skilled nursing facility for over a year. Care was wonderful. He was always clean, properly fed, and cared for in a respectful manner. Communication would sometimes be slow on doctors evaluations but I was always given the information I needed and was up to date on his care. When it came time to move Dad into skilled nursing I checked out a number of facilities and settled on Laclede Groves. I never experienced anything but positive care for him. It proved to be a good decision for the last year of his life. If skilled nursing is your only option, as it was for me, I recommend you check this facility out.
Barbara Riley: I lived there over six years. Each year my rent rose four percent. I moved out, I couldn't afford to stay.According to social security, cost of living increased far less.i thought a faith based facility would be more christian!! I was wrong. The residents and the hourly employees were wonderful. But the top executives were interested in the bottom line. I think their salaries benefited from the increases!!
Monica Rodansky: If I could give zero stars I would. I stayed short term after major surgery. The staff was rude and uncaring. They never checked on me. They gave me a wheel chair with no foot rest, not a good idea after knee surgery. I couldn't even get a glass of water outside of meal times because the staff told me they were too busy. My cell phone and medication were stolen. This place is horrible. The only capable people were the physical therapists. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
Vicky Green: My in-laws started at Laclede Groves in a lovely duplex patio home. They were very active in the Laclede community. After about 5 years they moved into a smaller, independent living apartment near the center of the community, due to my mother-in-law's worsening Parkinson's Disease. There they had easier access to the dining room and the Bistro, as well as activities and transportation. After a few years in the apartment, even with 24/7 private duty assistance, my mother-in-law's needs could not safely be met there. She moved into the Skilled Nursing Center. She's now been there for about 6 years. She has declined progressively, and my father-in-law has recently passed away. Though her physical needs are being met, and the registered nursing staff is competent and as attentive as they have the time to be, my mother-in-law's room is literally deteriorating around her. She is wheelchair-bound, has minimal use of her hands, can barely speak, cannot operate a phone, cannot feed herself, walk, or even reposition herself in her chair, and requires special equipment to move her into the bathroom, and between her chair and her bed. She is entirely dependent on staff for every aspect of her life. Her room is her world, and it's been allowed to deteriorate around her. I recently tried to clean some of the stains off the walls, but this is what her room looked like this weekend. (see pictures) We have also found soiled Depends in the sink, and on this visit an unflushed toilet was left after a bathroom visit. She has lost clothing in the laundry, and received clothing belonging to other people. The footrest on her wheelchair lost its locking attachment and was unusable. I happened to find the missing parts rolling around in her underwear drawer. We were able to repair the chair ourselves with a nut from the hardware store. But nobody had notified us that it was broken, and without the footrests her feet are left dangling unsupported when she's tilted back. The cost of this care is about $10,000 per month. We are very discouraged with the state of things, and live 1,000 miles away.
Debbie House: Horrible!!!! rehab dept..cna staff.are lazy an rude, called several times to report the care of love one,,,you would think management staff would fix problems,,,I'd suggest other placement, for your family member laclede groves is terrible, department of senior services,an also lurthern board will be notified as well
Liza Marie: My absolute favorite place to work. Helpful and happy employees, family atmosphere. Thoughtfulness is seen throughout the community from every department. I would recommend anyone looking for a connection to a community to work to come to Laclede.
STL Drew: Reach short stay rehab was absolutely awesome & kept me informed & updated the whole time. But since my father has been home he's developed some issues where he needs to be in long term care. The intake process has been a nightmare. No one returns my calls, had to show up in person to get financial application, when I tried to return with the documents & paperwork I was "greeted " if you can call it that by a rude & unhelpful receptionist at the information center in front of the bistro named Sharon. She wouldn't even try to contact anyone when I told her I wanted to drop off the paperwork in person and speak with someone. Wasn't at all one bit helpful or empathetic. I would definitely not have this woman working anywhere near the front.
Jaybo J.: Everything about this communities nice. Foods really good. Lots of parking. Securities good. I think all the apartments have balconies. I'm not too familiar with the staff but from the one's I've met, they come across as real genuine and caring. Apartments are really nice( like a condo) and spacious.
Judy Thomas: I worked there before nice place to workTeam work, hard workers just great staff. I had a car accident which calls me to quit. From 2007-2015 awesome place I often try to compare this to other nursing facility no comparison at all loved LSS.
Dave Gibson: Nice place really helped my mom
Armenta Swift: Great place to help your love ones heal. The PT and OTA are wonderful...they have a great team.
Rick Borage: Clean and friendly. Good facility for seniors.
Amy Hereford: Wonderful visit
