That was the area she spent the most time on. My masssage was horrible!!!! I woke up in so much pain today. Then when I went to pay she ask how much tip. I told her and she added that in my balance then handed me the receipt and I notice she added my tip to the balance so she could get 2 tips! I would not recommend this place after my experience last night. I went to relax, instead I was stressed and hustled!! One star!! She made the entire business loss credibility with me!!! I will let everyone I know my experience!

Rick McMillen: You must go here. We have had a 70 and 90 minute couples full body massage. Frontal and back. Head shoulders legs and feet, flip over and they start from top to bottom again. Absolutely amazing. I opted for the HARD version for my 90 minute and she worked out so many areas that are all connected. Once she found out where all the tense areas were especially my lower back she went and worked from feet and neck toward lower back and it was amazing.Expect somewhat of a language barrier. Make sure you call ahead as times may change or be delayed.You will get a 20 minute foot soak while they work on your head neck arms IT bands etc. You will end up on your stomach and finished with hot stones. We wear underwear and they provide a sheet to keep you covered and a towel over your eyes as they climb all over the table with fingers, knuckles, elbows, and forearms focusing on relief of tense or sore areas.

The only thing I didn’t like was there was only a curtain between me and the main walk path and it is easy to expose a person through the curtain. The other issue was the phone kept ringing and she had to go answer it. That said, the massage itself was really good and my partner and I were pleased with it.

Shannon Smock: Great local massage center. This is not your typical spa experience. You change into shorts and a tank top and the massage takes place in a shared room with 5 loungers as seen in the photo. Once you take a seat you place your feet in a hot foot soak while the massage begins with your head, ears, neck and shoulders. After they remove your feet from the foot soak and focus on your legs and feet. They massage therapists are very strong and give a great deep massage. They specialize in more thai or reflexology not a typical swedish massage.

Abayomi Awoyomi: Absolutely horrifying experience there. As an athlete, I treasure my feet and only subject them to the best care methods for optimal physical performance. After taking out a loan to pay for their best package, I can say with confidence that this establishment should be demolished immediately. My feet have never felt such pain and I fear that my athletic career is in jeopardy. The 5 star reviews have to be joking because their experiences don’t even seem feasible in such a place.

Monica Potpourri: I booked an appointment for Reflexology Massage for my Partner. She had been working 10-12 hr days with only one day off in 2 weeks, and complained that her feet were aching day and night. U City Foot Massage took her aching foot pain away. Super professional, clean, tranquil environment. She felt so comfortable, and came out totally relaxed. For me, the price was more than reasonable. Even with the Reflexology Massage expect to be asked to change clothes . Expect more than just a foot rub as they massage various pressure points on your body. Expect a foot soak and massage oil. My Partner said every work trip she takes going forward she will visit Ucity Massage once she gets back home, and she will be checking out other services they offer.

U-City Foot Massage is a no frills, hole-in-the-wall spot that is ferociously beloved by neighborhood locals for it value and authenticity to Chinese reflexology.First: This ain't your average lay-on-your-stomach soft-touch massage. If you're a baby to pressure then make it super clear. This is an accupressure massage - it's going to be slightly "rougher" and different than massages in Western salons. Even expect pulls, tugs, and some light smacking on tense areas. Trust me, these feel sooo nice during your session.You get to change into loose-fitting garments (Almost like a relaxation "uniform". I recommend removing your bra for comfort) and lay back into couches.Second: Your massage does not include your stomach or back. Your feet are placed into warm water, a technician who likely speaks little English will massage your feets, toes, legs, arms, hands, shoulders, scalp, face and head.Lastly: It's $45 frickin' dollars. Don't get into a fuss about the lack of decor. $45. Don't forget to tip.

Hal A: The massage was really a reflexology message and involved so much more than just feet. My masseuse started with my head and work their way down to my toes. When you arrive you are greeted, given an outfit to change into, led to a comfy laid back chair, given water, and then your feet are placed in a bucket of hot water while your masseuse works on your head, neck, shoulders, arms, and hands. Then your feet are removed from the water while the masseuse works on your legs and feet. This might be a different experience depending on length of massage and the masseuse (mine was 90 minutes). I left feeling really relaxed and like jello (a good thing in my opinion). When you first arrive you might find the room warm but as you begin your massage they make sure you feel comfortable with the temperature.

Molly Smith: My husband and I had a couples massage while we were here for the weekend. It was his first one, but I've had several before. I cannot say enough good things of how wonderful the entire experience was. The place was soothing, smelled good and was very clean. It's in an older building and has no sign out front, but don't judge a book by its cover. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. He truly took his time to ensure you were comfortable, attentive to pressure points, and checked on you throughout. He was also such a kind person. Thank you so much. We will 100% be back when we come back to town.

I judge a massage by how I feel, the fact she is certified, her professionalism, and by not being dehydrated before the massage but being very thirsty after. This is caused by a great massage removing lactic acid from the mussels. This was the first massage I've had ever where I became thirsty DURING the massage. She could not have done a better 90 minute deep tissue massage!

There is no sign in the front, but don't let that dissuade you at ALL. The staff was very pleasant and the atmosphere comfortable immediately upon entering. They were watching for me and immediately welcomed me as I went up the steps. I enjoyed the soft music being played that was different than nature sounds that other places use. The massage was relaxing, and giant tension areas in my upper back were worked out while I was checked on periodically to make sure the pressure was acceptable. Killed my energy, I didn’t smile anymore after that. He was vocal during the massage, and the massage was okay. But I feel everyone always put so much pressure on my body, when I always ask for a pleasant massage, I want them to put me to sleep. At the end, while he was at the desk, I was waiting on a receipt. But he said something along the lines of, “giving a tip would be the right thing to do”. It shocked me, that he came off like that. Though I already had the tip in my back pocket, was just waiting on the receipt. Still gave him the tip $10, no Thank you.

Nicole Shifflett: If I could give less stars I would, this was the worst massage I've ever received. On Saturday I got a Groupon for a 60 minute massage. Alma was my LMT. I sincerely don't know how she even got licensed. For starters she didn't even pay attention to the locations I wanted, which was shoulders, hip ares, feet and scalp. Her idea of a deep tissue massage was practically punching down and dragging with her knuckles on my arms and legs. She asked at the beginning if I'd like stretching. Her idea of stretching was grabbing my limbs and waving them around wildly without warning while completely missing the pressure points I know she was trying to reach. I felt no stretching and I feel like since I mentioned I'm hypermobile she just wanted to see how far I will go. My OBGYN gives me more heads up when she touches me in odd spaces. The worst part about initially receiving it was being slathered in lotion to the point the massage table sheet had peaks of lotion when I got up that looked like whipped cream. I had to gohome and take a shower go get the slime off of me. The scalp massage hurt like she was scratching with her nails. I wasn't going to write a review until I noticed she bruised my arms and legs from how much repetitive knuckle dragging on my legs and arms. I feel violated. Needless to say I will not be returning.

WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. Literally one of the best massages we have had and we have had many. Namiah gave an amazing prenatal massage. I felt extremely comfortable and the pressure was the firmness I was looking for. Cearan was my husbands therapist and he said the pressure was perfect, he asked for preferences and followed them. The massage was relaxing but also worked sore, tense muscles. We both really enjoyed our experience and wish we didn’t live 5 hours away.

Elle Hammond: A little torn on this one — my massage therapist’s technique was absolutely incredible, but I came in for a very acute reason, which I shared, and I felt that reason/area was given barely any attention compared to other parts of my body. I have lots of shoulder knots from circus/aerial arts, and I told my therapist I see someone for that (so I’m aware they exist and I’m not as concerned about them compared to the acute lower back pain I am experiencing). Most of the massage felt dedicated to my shoulders. Today, my shoulders feel great, but that’s not what I was going for, and my mid- and lower-back have no improvement.

Dakota G. has done my visits, and he has helped my feet get MUCH better. His knowledge of how the connective tissues are related to each other, and his focus on the problem areas, has led to my plantar fasciitis being GONE, by feet having much more flexibility, and the daily pain on its way out! Dakota’s myofascial sessions are not a kind of “feel good” massage, they know how to dig in and make IMPROVEMENTS!
