Austin Strange: First I was 2 minutes late to my ct scan and the receptionist whom I called and let her know that I was going to be 2 minutes late said I was all good. The receptionist then told me when I walked in that being 2 minutes late they gave someone else the appointment and forced me to wait 1.5 hrs for a new appointment. Then I was sent 1 bill a while back and I had lost it by accident and just got a very rude letter stating that it’s the final notice. No calls from them. No website to go on and pay. The ct machine acted up several times. Hope I wasn’t charged for the multiple runs either. I will pay and never have anything to do with this place again. The tech was nice and apologized that the machine was acting up atleast.

Jorge Gomez: Everyone knows this program is malignant though we'd like to elaborate.A malignant program is a program that treats its residents unfairly, has a toxic unproductive learning environment, pits residents/groups of residents against each other, and does not listen to resident feedback. I am/we are fourth year residents at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology and we see disturbing trends. The Mallinckrodt is not so much malignant as it is racist. For white residents, things are fine and the sky is pretty for the most part. Some toxicity bleeds through. For the minority or first generation resident with no connections who seem vulnerable, they are harrassed, intimidated, bullied, many times by the weakest, most insecure faculty, and predominantly by the program director (Dr. Gould) who is a part time interventionist who needs to keep up an appearance that she is doing her job. If you are not a white person, please avoid this program. Until at least the program director is fired. And on top of that you have the narcissistic immature self declared vice chair of education (Bhalla) going arnd harassing residents he doesn't like. The end result is a chaotic unprofessional situation no one wants to be in.

A.: My doctor gave me a referral for an ultrasound to this place. When I called to make the appointment, the receptionist first argued with me over my name (apparently women can't have two last names). She finally gave up on that and entered my information in, but then refused to make the appointment for a diagnostic ultrasound because (and this is extremely baffling so bear with me) they only perform ultrasounds on people who have a diagnosis. So, when I told them that I did not yet have a diagnosis apart from "unspecified thyroid mass," that wasn't sufficient. I needed to know exactly what kind of a mass it was before they were willing to perform the ultrasound. The -- again -- diagnostic ultrasound.My doctor has since referred me to a different clinic. Please go anywhere else if you can.
