Dr. Shazia Malik, MD: what do users think?
Shawn McRoberts: after a decade plus of seeing her, she is being fired by me, I take a medication that i cannot miss a day of taking, yet to often i cannot get it refilled in a timely basis and i suffer. This time it’s a week now and I am a mess. And yes, she is not communicating with me or her staff. See below a complaint can be filedLicensed Professionals. To file a complaint against a licensed professional, such as a doctor, nurse, barber or massage therapist, contact the Missouri Division of Professional Registration.
Total Annihilation Fitness: This doctor has an extremely low IQ and is clearly an example of affirmative action case. She’s a Muslim and a woman. In other words she has been handed everything her whole life. This doctor doesn’t seem to understand the difference between being loud and being manic. Despite the fact that all of her staff told her “Jordan is always loud,” she ignored them and kept me in detox for two weeks despite the fact that I was the highest performing patient. I should have been there for 4 days. She was literally only there for two days the whole time. Her nurse practitioner(also Muslim) tried to put me in the mental ward because he was jealous of the fact that I am way smarter then him. Years and years in college just to hold a fork and a knife lol.
Dan Wedge: She saved my life when Noone else would even try.she spent year's trying to save me she bused her rear the point of it is she doesn't give up on her patience no matter what. She is later for app. It's worth it
Katie: . I love Dr.Malik as well she may not run on time but she cares about each one of her patients. I don’t wanna put Dr.Maliks business out there some of you may know to the ones that don’t Dr .Malik takes care of her mother whom hasn’t been doing the best. She is one hell of a women if you ask me I wouldn’t choose anyone else as my psychiatrist. She is human just like the rest of us. Dr .Malik don’t listen to these negative reviews on here. Every since Dr Malik Went out on her own and opened her own practice things are ran so much better. I love her new assistant Danielle she is on top of things and very professional. The other assistant I havnt talked to that much but she seems ok.
Noah Stieff: She clearly does not care about her patients health at all. First she wouldnt show up as promised while I was In patient and now has canceled 5, FIVE appointments in a row on me, I'm running out of medication and never receive a call or text when she does "cancel" . It's criminal what she does in my opinion. Please listen to me when I say to do yourself a favor and immediately find a new psychiatrist if you need help. I've never encountered a doctor this irresponsible and unprofessional especially in her field!
Nesha Mane: Very unprofessional and communication HORRIBLE. She make EVERYTHING WORSE then before I never hated a doctor sooo much. Worse Dr of the year goes to her she does not care about her patients mental health at all.
Jason Cori: I've been a patient of Dr. Shazia Malik for 2 1/2 months. In this time she has never kept an appointment time or day and has no idea who I am. My Suboxone was supposed to be refilled a week ago. As far as the Doctor and her office is concerned I'm in full blown withdrawal and they could care less. Her rating is too high imo.
Debra Edwards: I wanted to add that Shazia Malik does take the time to listen and truly cares when she converses with you. She doesn't rush you when she asks how you're doing.
Brittany Schwartzkopf: This place is TERRIBLE! Do not go here if you care about your own mental health. I have had nothing but problems from the second I stepped foot in this office. I have yet to meet my doctor in person, it is always through zoom unless she cancels on you the day of your appointment after you’ve waited hours after your appointment time. They schedule you, and then tell you that they don’t have you scheduled that day. They get your body used to a medication and then NEVER fill your medicine on time. I have had to call and be transferred to many different people every month when I need a new refill. When the staff on the phone is unhelpful, I show up at the office trying to fill my prescription with them telling me there is nothing they can do. How can a practice be in business like this? Aren’t they supposed to be helping our mental health when in fact they are screwing with mine. My body is all out of whack when I can’t refill my prescriptions and don’t hear from my doctor when they say they will. I would give zero stars if I could. This place is a joke , and it is surely no way to run a practice.
boro maletic: If I had options to give her 0 I would. She is so messed up. She constantly canceling appointments with out of making new one. She says your appointment is at 5pm She called me at 10pm. She doesn't refill medicine. When she canceling appointment she still billed you. Please don't go to her you going to have even more issues.
Snezana Kalajdzic: This doctor is good diagnostic but in everything else she's bad. Long wait, canceling appointments without making new ones, most days out of country, don't refill your medications on time, or ordering wrong ones.
Susan Weedman: When you ever get to talk to Dr. Malik, she is good. However, the company she works for, the people that answer the phone, the organization is horrible. They don’t keep accurate records. They prescribe me meds that I no longer take. The people who answer the phone send me down wild goose chase and ring me into another voicemail. I am stuck because I can’t find anyone else. The business should be shutdown!!!!
Greg Prost: If you value yourself or your loved one, FIND A DIFFERENT DOCTOR.In the past year I've observed this "doctor" neglect her responsibilities as a provider to the point of nearly being criminal. She has not showed up for appointments, been 3-4 hours late for appointments, neglected to leave prescriptions with office staff as promised and needed by the patient. No insurance company should allow her to be an approved provider!!
Brittany Menego: Worst call service ever. Waited 25 minutes on the line so decided to call another location both offices closed after I hit my 22 minute wait. Hope you enjoyed you pre lunch nap.
Mikayla Reed: This place has continued to be a joke through my entire experience. The hold times are insane and when you finally get ahold of someone they will most likely transfer you and then hang up. My doctor is alright but the staff is unbelievably awful.
fran krame: I reviewed Dr. Shazia Malik 2 years ago, and gave her and her office a glowing review. I have changed my mind after being her patient for a longer period of time. While the medications she has me on help me more than any have, I feel under constant threat of her taking my meds away. Shazia does not like one of the nurse practitioners in the office, I had seen this kind nurse many times, now, I can no longer see the NP who helped me so much. Instead, I see Cheeto, a NP who does not remember me from one visit to the next. Cheeto stares at my chart, does not really talk to me.Dr. Malik has canceled appointments on me when I was in her waiting room, yet my car broke down and I was charged for late cancellation. The waiting time is always at least 2 hours, today I have been here 4 hours. There are no doctors to sign my prescriptions. So here I sit. I wait.I have never spent so much time waiting on a doctor. She insists on seeing me once a month, so once a month I dread the day I have to come here.
Jamie Sepulveda: HORRIBLE staff. RUDE. Dr doesn’t listen. Won’t do PAs. Told me that “they have other patients to tend to, so can’t do my PA.” Called multiple times about it. NO ONE called me back. Wouldn’t recommend.
Kim Starbuck: You wait well over 1-2 hours then you either Skype her out of country, at home, or shes late or doesn't show up after you have waited! not a very professional doctor!
Shell Wom: My experience has been dismissive. I’ve been cancelled on three times in 4 weeks. This place is ridiculous and these psychiatrists give psychiatrists in general a bad name. How is our society supposed to get better when the people who provide care just don’t care?
Gwendolyn Smith: I have to concur with many of the other reviews. The wait time is horrible and it's true that if you cancel you are billed. However, I have had several appointments cancelled by Dr. Malik over the last year and at this time I am having to wait for over 30 mins. to speak with some one and I have not been able to get through to speak with anyone since yesterday and today.
Diana Walker: I never waited less than 2 hours to see her. And, if you leave after an hour, they charge for a missed appointment. The most important reason she is terrible is that she misdiagnosed me and had me on meds that were negatively impacting my life. If I could rate her a ZERO, I would.

Vadim Baram Md Inc: what do users think?
Mary Bolderson: I've been going to a psychiatrist for 28 years. Dr. Baram's office is the best. Very kind people. People with mental illness are often treated badly. It's really great to know that there are kind people in the world like Dr.Baram's office.
keith “CUZZALO” rinck: Good Dr 6een my doc for over 30 years no problems at all.
Debi Williams: The receptionist is Amazing she explains things to you and I just want to say THANK YOU TO HER She's making things easier on the patients and that a 5 ⭐ if you Ask Me.
Erin Goldenberg: Dr. Barum is always professional and caring. He understands my situation and is always understanding.
Amy McFarland: In all my past terrible experiences, I never found that sense of FEELING & BEING [ COMFORTABLE ] ; a definite "MUST".Until, I met with Dr. Baram. Right from the start, Dr. Baram made me feel important, never judging, patient, and actively listens, discusses any concerns, and takes positive approaches in steps going forward. He genuinely cares for his patients. His staff is respectful, always pleasant, and eager to be of assistance!
David Bright: I was very discouraged after seeing a Psychiatrist that had no investment at all in my well-being. I am so happy that I found Anna Tran and the staff at Dr. Baram's office. I was not in a good place when I first starting seeing Anna and nearly a year later, I have made so much progress and I owe so much of it to the care that I've received from these wonderful people.
Devoured Memories: I was going there for a few month, and I did find it that they were helping me. But one day I don’t know why they said what they said. They were asking about someone else opinion on how I was doing. And completely shot it down and then started to said that all guys don’t know what they are saying.I don’t know if they have a problem with guys or what saying anything. If they want someone options they should at least listen. It was very unprofessional and it looks like they judge you. I trying to get help not be judged.. Also it’s just the people they are dealing with how they are feeling of what working and not working. If the person added anything else they can added in there file. They have no right to be a therapist. They are only to help you with medication. I would not recommend them if they are going that. I would highly recommend that they reevaluate there staff and they need a course on how to be better at there job..
Cole Seifert: Disappointed
Luke Stepp: Was informed that they would not treat me because I had a prior diagnosis of ADD.
Lisa Johnson: Dr. Baram is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen.
lisa mann: Dr. Baram has been my Psychiatrist for many years. We have developed an open repore, he has always listened to my thoughts, and opinions of the medications prescribed to me, and we have come up with a medication combination that works for me.
Bryan Potts: I have been to many doctors throughout my life. This Dr. Is much more then that, he is someone who actually cares about his patients. It still amazes me how far I have come due to hard work and also having the team that I have behind me. I am proud to be a patient/friend with the Dr. I ain't sure if this battle would be where it is if was alone.
Eric Pyle: They asked me to fill out the Dr. part of the FMLA paperwork, then messed up faxing it in. When I called, they said they were waiting for someone to come in and fill it out. FMLA is due within 2 weeks of the absence. They hadn't sent it in after 3 weeks.
Carolyn Smith: Looking into being a new patient. I spoke with Jared I believe and he was great! Very helpful! Thank you Jared 👍
YUNG PHANTØM: Every time I go into see my doctor I sit around waiting for OVER AN HOUR. The receptionist brushed it off like it’s no big deal. DO NOT go to this doctors office and save yourself some time. Would give less than one star if possible.
Jasmine Jones: I love Dr.Baram, he's a short spicy man. He has helped me through a dark time in my life when I couldn't see the light at the end of thr tunnel he gave me hope. I can joke and be myself around him but trust and believe he sees right through that smile and see the hurt in you. He has an awesome relationship with his patient's. He truly cares
Thomas Childress: I didn’t even get a chance to meet with Dr. Baram. For my initial visit, I sat for an hour past my appointment time in the waiting room after paying my co-pay waiting to be seen. At the hour mark, I gathered my things, got a refund, and left.My time may not be important to this office, but it is to me. If I set an appointment at a certain time, I expect to be seen somewhere around that time. This is pretty basic common courtesy.
Sassy Sateen: I have been seeing Dr. Baram for years! He is very professional, caring, kind, intelligent, and patient (no pun intended!). He is definitely a top notch Psychiatrist. His office staff are amazing-they always remember me and have been very nice when I have had the occasion to call.
Sarah Good: My first visit, with Dr. Baram, he spent almost an hour reviewing my medications and history. I really was in a bad place and he helped give me hope. He said if I had any issues, to just come to the office and they would try to squeeze me an appoint in for me. Of course, with this type of specialty, some cases may require additional attention and the wait time may be almost an hour. However, he seems to truly care about his patients. If you use google maps to try and find the office... it will let you to a different looking building. I've attached an updated view of what the building should look like - it's right next to the AMC theatre in Creve Coeur.
