Kathy Jackson: I'm going in the hospital the 13th of this month and I hope and pray that he does my surgery well I've read his ratings and they are good. And I know I'm a difficult person because when they try to put me to sleep for surgery I go flat line and come out on life support so I hope however he doesn't I will be safe and okay
Mark Cillo: Dr. Wise is an absolutely amazing surgeon and overall doctor. He is one of the most skilled GI surgeons in the world and is highly respected by the staff of Barnes hospital. Due to demand it can be difficult to get appointments or become a new patient (as happens with really great doctors). Dr. Wise has helped me tremendously and I am extremely grateful for having access to such a uniquely adept surgeon.
Allison Woodrum: Dr. Wise is an expert in his field. From the minute he walked in the room, we felt so much better about our situation. His confidence and "bedside manner" gave us so much more peace than we had before. We sought out Dr. Wise for a second opinion after our first surgeon was...less than satisfactory to say the least. Dr. Wise was a night and day difference. It's disheartening to see someone down rate him because they were unable to figure out how to contact his office.

Patricia Quinn: He is caring great bed side manners he explains everything in great details. I thi n k he is a wonderful doctor. He goes the extra mile to do his best for his patients. I am blessed to have him as my doctor more should learn from him. May God bless him hes always in my prayers

Paige: I would highly recommend Dr. Bardakcioglu to anyone needing colorectal surgery. I had 3 major surgeries 7 years ago to removed my colon due to ulcerative colitis and Dr. B did an excellent job! The estimated time to wear the ileostomy was 6 months and that's exactly how long it took. I was very pleased and considering the surgery, everything went without issue. He was very professional and in tune with my needs as a patient and always made sure if I needed to be seen that an appointment was made right away.

Kathleen Carmody: Dr. Montenegro preformed robotic colon cancer surgery on me one month ago. She is a brilliant surgeon with a kind and caring bedside manner. My recovery has gone great, exactly as she explained.
Robert Wohldmann: Dr. Montenegro is a awesome surgeon and wonderful person and I was truly blessed to have her do my surgery. I whole heartily recommend her if you require any of her specific surgeries.
Taylor Hebbeler: Dr. Montenegro is a brilliant physician and an exceptional colorectal surgeon. After years of disregarded issues from previous MDs and surgeons, my dad was accepted under her care. She immediately and confidently came up with a care plan for him and scheduled his surgery. Almost a year later, he is symptom free and everything went great. She was honest, open and very thorough. I would recommend her to anyone. She is the best of the best.

Mark Kleffner: Doctor Grace Montenegro is the best of best.She performed colon surgery on my dad. This was an extremely unique situation. She removeda life changing growth mass that was completely interfering with the final stages of a long depressing journey for my father. Prior to this several surgeons didn’t feel comfortable tackling this operation. The surgeons then turned him over to Grace Montenegro MD at SLU , she came through big time and gave my father a new lease on life.Grace Montenegro MD is an AMAZING colon surgeon.
