Kathy W: I love the vibe here and the intro to pottery class was excellent! I can't wait to come back for more!
Ray Scruggs: I met Guy at a block party where he was allowing people to work with pottery. He was awesome. Very nice kind gentle and welcoming. It was a pleasure to meet him and i look foward to going to the studio for date night or just for a fun outing.
David Cox: I have used this studio for about 2 year and love it. This is a great studio for ceramics. It has a full array of equipment, large cone 10 kiln and very good glazes. The owner, Rob, is a very good potter and teacher.

That Painting Spot: what do users think?
Tiffany Johnson: Cute little paint your own pottery (or canvas) shop. Great selection of pieces, no hidden fees, and laid back atmosphere.
Sarah Hernandez: So much fun! Went with my husband and we painted a piggy bank and a monkey for our daughter who is due in July. I can't wait to see how they turn out. It was about $45 for both of us (the piggy bank was like $26). I think it's worth it for the fun and the unique pieces we'll get back. I'll try to post an update photo when we get them back.
Ben Jones: Clean, comfortable, large, knowledgeable and helpful staff, fun atmosphere and a load (and I do mean a load) of pottery to choose from. I am an old painted zebra customer and I was thrilled, almost overwhelmed, with the variety of pottery to choose from. However, if you are not overly creative, you should know that there are hardly any examples of painted pottery to give you inspiration. At the painted zebra, almost every selection had a paired example. I spent so much time trying to reference the color selection to a pottery choice and it became overwhelming. All of the blank bowls, plates, home decor sat blank with no inspiration. This could just be lack of creativity, but I assumed a painting studio would have painted examples. With all of that said, I asked one of the staff members to show me their most prized examples that they had made and she showed me some photos of some spectacular pottery.I again, the place was inviting and the atmosphere was perfect for some calming painting; just go with an idea and some reference photos
Lolly Vie: Awesome choices for items and paint colors! Had a great time here
Juli Rodriguez: We had a great time for my granddaughters 8th birthday.
Serge Suprun: Julia was great facilitating our team building offsite. It was great to see our leadership creating the art and adding something unique to their paintings. You can bring your own food and drinks. The shop has many ideas for paintings for both adults and kids.
Juliana Kessler: I read the great reviews and decided to come in for some very last minute Father’s Day gifts. I called to make sure they had walk in availability, and they were super helpful and friendly on the phone. I took my 3 year old daughter and my 2 nieces (both teenagers), and everyone had a great time. My daughter was done with her project super early, and the staff was nice enough to give her some paper and colored pencils to color while we waited for my nieces to finish their projects. The 2 girls that were working today were so helpful throughout the entire process and so kind ! We will definitely be back ! Great experience from start to finish !
Morgan Overbey: Always have a great time here!
Samantha Kittel: My family and I have come here multiple times and have always had a good experience. This past time was no different until it came time to pick the items up. We crafted a large and expensive Christmas tree cactus that was supposed to come with plastic bulbs and a light to go inside it. Once we got home (25 minutes away) we realized that they did not give us the light to go inside the cactus. Not a huge deal… we can just order one online and it’ll be here in a few days. They did give us the bulbs, but I did not receive near enough to fill all the holes on the cactus. Not to mention they were incredibly too small and kept falling out of the cactus. I’m really disappointed because this piece was very expensive and they didn’t even bother to provide the correct materials needed to use the piece as intended.
Matt Biggs: Normally not my kind of thing, but very meditative. Rented the party room for my daughter's birthday. Clean spot, lots of options, Dani was super nice and helpful. Everyone had a great time! (Also had a bitchin playlist going in the background the whole time)
Kamryn Smith: I love this place. My boyfriend and I easily spent 4 hours here with so much help when we needed it. The workers we so helpful when getting the colors we needed. Love it every time!
devin henson: Great place to go and relax and have some fun
Laura Dalpiaz: That painting spot is great. They are so patient with kids!!
Madeleine Hahn: This is my absolute favorite place to paint! The staff is so helpful and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I don’t live in the area but make the drive because it is so worth it. You won’t be disappointed!
Chad Brauss: I always enjoy the time with family.
Dede Townsend: Had a great time celebrating a birthday! Ms. Val was very patient with the painters.
Caveat Emptor: Let me start by saying that my purpose of this review is to be constructive. By observing interactions with other customers, the studio manager is a nice lady with a pleasant personality. That said, she is not an effective communicator. I contacted her in December 2017 with a series of specific questions about glass fusion. I asked questions about pricing, policy, how the open studio works, etc. I was lead to believe that if I took a class that included a 6x6 piece, I could come back in the future to do a larger piece during open studio. Believing that I did my due diligence, asking the right questions and satisfied with the answers, I purchased $220 in gift certificates. I returned in August to do a larger piece. The event started with ambiguity about the pricing. There was a sheet with published pricing that had the cost of items during open studio. After my wife, adult daughter and I selected our items, the studio manager came back with the pricing crossed out on the sheet and new pricing that was more than double the previous price. When I questioned that, she started talking in circles with responses that contradicted previous statements and in general, seemed illogical. She said the prices are lower if you build the piece as part of a class, of which the piece and the class are included in the price. If you build the piece during open studio, the price is higher. I asked her if she was sure she didn’t have her facts reversed. I told her that didn’t make sense. At that point, I had nonrefundable gift certificates so I felt trapped. As I started building my piece, I could sense that she was getting disturbed with me. When I confronted her, she said if I need glass cut, she needs to be the one cutting it. I have several issues with that statement. First, she was preoccupied with other events and customers to cater to our needs. Second, what is the premise behind open studio if I can't build my own piece from start to finish? Third, I was led to believe by the same manager that by taking the instructional class in December, I would have autonomy the next time I came in. I informed her that none of this was clearly communicated. The web site says one thing. Asking her specific questions elicited contradictory responses. Information in the studio conveyed something different. At nearly $200 in costs, my family and I made the most of the experience but we all felt very restricted with what we were allowed to do and what glass materials we were allowed to use.
Ran Jing: We come here all the time. They have such nice employees
Christina Smith: Great Find love this place 😁
Melissa Koziatek: So I went to the Pets Pets and Pets camp. It sucked. I went for two days, the first day we did a piece and a mug, the second day we did a piggy bank and A fish. So when we picked the pieces up the piggy bank and the fish we fine, but the piece and mug were not. The piece was cracked, they just said it was apperently too wet, so there goes an hour of work. The mug was SUPPOSED to be white but was a cream color. I highly reccomend NOT going there or doing the camps. Overall I will not be going there again.
Craig Johnson: Awesome fun. Good selection of ceramics and glazes. Be prepared to spend some time here to make a good object. You can't do it in a lunch hour.
