Patrick M: This used to be a great store to buy pool chemicals. I've been a customer for several years. They had good prices and the staff was very helpful. However, they've changed ownership and they have no desire to sell anything, not to mention a complete lack of customer service. I stopped by on a Saturday and they were closed; still operating under winter hours even though it was April. So I called instead. Due to COVID-19, you can't walk into their store anymore and must call and leave a message for what chemicals you need. So I left a detailed voicemail with what I needed, but was never called back. My order was apparently just disregarded. I ended up ordering my chemicals online. It's really disappointing to see a business decline so quickly under new ownership. They won't be in business long with that poor of customer service.
Bob C: We have been buying our pool chemicals her for years, and will continue to do so. Now that we added a spa, we have even more reason to go there. The prices are great, and the guys working there really know their stuff.
Jared Mudd: I was excited to find a local pool service with reasonable prices. Called and scheduled them to close down my pool for the winter. Took the day off work for the day. They never showed or called so I closed the pool myself. The next day I come home and notice some parts taken off the pool pump. Called them and they told me they added more chemicals to the pool and I should have called them to let them know I was doing it myself. Unbelievable. Pay a little extra and let a professionally run company handle your pool needs.

Niklas Levy: A Pool Tron company van ran a red light near Forest Park and almost hit my car. I called them to complain and they laughed at me over the phone. You’d think that’d care about a reckless employee driving a company vehicle and nearly causing an accident, but clearly they find it hilarious.
Robert Nordman: I called to inquire about a pool for our home in Florissant and was treated very rudely and condescendingly by a Mr. Larry Samsone. Appallingly unprofessional conduct over the phone. He almost shouted at me and mocked me for asking a few detailed questions about their services. Well, glad they showed their true colors from the get-go!

The installation is amazing and is performed by top-notch professionals who are the best in the business. You may be able to find a cheaper pool company but with an investment of this magnitude do you really want to take a chance with a low-bid company?
Paul Gill: Update: My deposit has now been returned. I filed a complaint with the BBB and I credit them for helping me resolve the issue.I have been trying since October 4th to obtain the return of our $20,000 deposit. We decided not to pursue a pool and we have simply not been able to get anything back from them. Pooltron did not begin any detailed drawings other than the high-level marketing ones to show us the concept. The bid for the project was very high and we did put a deposit down to hold a potential timeframe. However, we decided not to pursue the pool and we have been unable to obtain the return of any of the deposit. They (Dennis Sansone) have sent a couple of emails saying the return is "processing" but at this point, that is obviously a prevarication of the truth.Based on my experience, do not trust this company with your money..I am going to have to find a legal solution it appears which will cost more $!Paul GSt. Louis, MOService:Custom Swimming pool design

Website says they service Eastern IL (which is next to Florissant). Called office and guy says they do not service the Florissant area. He literally had no explanation for why he was unwilling to set up a work order for my address in Florissant. Seemed a little suspicious to me to turn down business when you literally had a truck 5 minutes from my house 2 days ago.

Lisa DeLorenzo: Horrible service! Was supposed to come out and fix a pool vac. Called in the morning and they said they could not give me an estimated time of arrival or even an a.m. or p.m. I waited 9 hours for them and they never showed. When I called, they said they came by but no one was home, which was a lie. The front door was open, and there was a note to ring the bell. I took off work and waited all day, and I have a dog that barks at everything. No music on so I could hear when someone arrive. They never came and lied about it. They also never called my cell phone which was with me the whole time. Not professional at all. Do not use.

Cut me off, was driving at least 65mph on Lindbergh where the posted speed limit is 40mph, and drove right up on the bumper of anyone unfortunate enough to end up in front of them. Jon Parker: I booked an appointment to get an estimate on replacing coping and retiling our pool and water feature. They were booking estimates 5 weeks out, which I waited patiently for. The day before they called to reschedule, which is fine. However the estimator didn't show up at the new time and I got no call. Not a good way to earn business. If that's how hard it is to get an estimate from PoolTron, imagine what it's like after you fork over the money.Update: they did eventually show up 2 weeks later unannounced to assess the pool but they never submitted a quote.

Amy Polt: I would give a zero but does not allow. We started using this pool company 2 years ago but pool has not ever worked for more than a few days. Bought new pump and paid for many services from this company after they “diagnosed” the problem but still can’t get pool together. Paid for a liner, they ripped the old one out 3 months ago and my backyard looks like a disaster because still no new liner which we paid for 6 months ago. If you want to get the run around and excuses but no pool working, unique pool is for you. This is how they left my pool and how it looks now!
Shelley Hawkins: THIS IS WHY THERE IS A LIFEGUARD SHORTAGE! The manager Ashley, of this company is completely unprofessional. My daughter worked for this company as a life guard and was let due to letting her friend into the pool in our subdivision using our key fob. Which I agree was not the best decision on her part so yes she should have been reprimanded. This manager Ashley was completely rude to my daughter (mind you she is 15 and this was her first job). I am definitely not a Karen if my child did wrong then yes she should have been reprimanded. My daughter was completely respectful and she was so unbelievably unprofessional. DO NOT let your child work for this company! Unless you are ok for unprofessionalism.

Minee Johnson: I hired unique pool management to open my pool, change the sand in my pool filter and clean out the salt generator also to remove a pool slide. I had three guys on sight; they broke my pool lid on my deck to the skimmer. The person that broke it told the crew leader but the crew leader told him not to worry about it and left the job sight with a hole there! I could of stepped into it or I have a 10 pound dog that could of fell in it. Luckily I have a ring and seen what happened and send there office the video. My pool was left with sand coming back to the pool and salt generator not working properly. Doug came out to fix the problem with another guy and they started drilling on my pool deck now I have yellow spots in my fiberglass pool. I ordered pool rail he said it would be $430 when they came out to put it in I had to pay $960 I paid. I paid thousands of dollars and pool cleaning since April-01-2021 to now. Doug said five weeks ago he would come up with a plan and never did. I contacted him on a text few days ago again he won’t respond back to me or fix the problems. He also sold me a salt generator mother board for $650 that’s not working.
John Harbaugh: I am a first time pool owner and needed a reliable and honest pool company. If you are in the market for the same thing as I was then you should give these guys a call. Prior to connecting with Unique Pool Management I made calls to TWO other local pool management companies and never heard back from one and the other didn't offer the service I was looking for. I recently decided to get a safety cover for winter and since my pool has a unique shape this service requires a significant amount of precise measurements. Tom and his crew came out to do the measurements with no problems or issues. They answered all of my questions and spent the time to make sure I was getting what I wanted. I also plan on using them to close and re-open my pool as well. To me, this is money well spent and trust that Unique Pool Management will provide great service and a fair price.

Darren Pierce: DO NOT USE!! Do not hire this company for lifeguards! This company hires the lifeguards for our subdivision pool and the lifeguards are mean and rude, and scream and yell, and at me, and I am a grown woman. I called to complain today, spoke to Ashley, who was nothing but defensive of the lifeguards. Then, Ashley stated "when I get upset again, just give her a call". What? Me placing a call in the first place is not going to be enough to stop the lifeguards from screaming at adults? "WHEN" it happens again? Wow! Plus, the lifeguards do not even know the current policy of checking in with electronic pool passes. Another incident today, a table umbrella was blowing in the wind and the lifeguard, Victoria, I believe it was, screamed at my son to get up and go over to fix the umbrella. Um, that is not my sons job. If the lifeguards treat kids poorly when the parents are there, how are they treating them when the parents are not there? (16 years and up do not need parents). Will do my best to make sure all know to stay away from this unprofessional business.

I informed both the inspector and the receptionist that I was on a tight deadline, they both assured me that it would not be a problem. I was sent an invoice asking for prompt payment and the Inspection report would be emailed that day. I paid immediately. As my deadline got closer and closer I got excuse after excuse until my deadline had past. The pool guy was friendly and knowledgeable but I would not recommend they're Inspection services.

Frank Venturella: A great company. Our in-ground vinyl lined pool was installed 4 years ago. We met with Suntan and told they what we wanted. They worked with us in designing the pool and deck that would work best in our yard. We had so much confidence in the company that we left on vacation while the pool was being installed. Pictures were sent daily on the progress. When we got home the pool was finished. We use Suntan every year to open and close the pool. When ever we have had questions they are quick to return our calls. We wanted a heater added and Suntan installed it and again did a great job.
