Judy Post: My Baldwin Grand Piano, manufactured in 1894, our family treasure for over 70 years, was badly damaged when being moved from Georgia to St Louis, by a nationally known moving company. The movers’ carelessness inflicted deep gouges and chips in the side of the mahogany case and two legs. After meeting with the folks at Jackson Pianos, I knew they were the people I could trust with the repair of my piano. In addition to the piano case repair, Joe Jackson completed some mechanical work and general maintenance to the piano's action. My treasured Baldwin Grand Piano, once again in my home, looks and sounds more beautiful than ever.Thank you Mary for your expertise in repairing the damage to the piano case. All the chips and gouges were filled in, the color and grain of the mahogany so perfectly matched, and the finish blended, that even with a spotlight, no repairs can be detected!And thank you Joe, my piano sounds and plays more beautifully than ever!The folks at Jackson Pianos are artists and craftsman, and the only people I will ever trust with my piano again!

Mike Holley: I am limiting my review to the piano tuning aspect of their business. I don't really know what makes for an excellent piano tuner, as I am one rank below a rank amateur when it comes to playing the instrument. HOWEVER, I do know something about customer service, and I have been very satisfied with their responsiveness, their timely reminders, and the courtesy and professionalism of their tuner, Justin, who has serviced our piano the last two times.
Brent Baldwin: These people are THE "go to" piano experts in and around STL. They are great to work with - very accommodating -- and they have a customer friendly problem solver attitude that isn't selfish. They are honest - so If they think a repair is best handled by the manufacturer (as they did with a performance bench for my piano), they are willing to say so and to facilitate the interaction with the manufacturer. They find a way to get things done correctly, and they do it collaboratively, so you are involved in the process and kept informed. Best of all they -THEY LISTEN!!!!!. St. Louis is lucky to have them. Literally everyone I have ever talked to there has a customer friendly problem solver attitude. And yes, their charges have always been fair and reasonable.

We were advised by other piano moving companies that it couldn’t be done due to the amount of stairs and tight turns in our townhome, but Jackson pianos communicated with us in a timely and professional manner to complete the move. Amanda Byrne: We needed a piano moved from a south city home with 16 steps out front - they were upfront about the cost, even requesting pictures so there were no surprises - they moved it from there to our new house in an hour with zero complaints. Super professional and even suggested the best location in our new house and how to mediate an air vent that might cause problems. Highly recommend!
Yvonne Hamilton: I received a tune up on October 30 and the person suggested a cleaning which involves some money down. We took advice and put some money down. November called back and left a voicemail and my email. It’s December 18 not a word from them. I called back today and talk to Louise and she said they were not able to get to anyone until mid to late February. I said it would have been nice if you would have sent an email back responding. She breathed very heavy on the phone like she was annoyed with me. I’m sorry I’m annoying you but last time I checked I thought letting the customer know and instead of making them feel you are blowing them off would be good customer service.
