Tracy B: I have been a loyal customer of St. Louis Dog Butler for most of my 9 years in the Lou and they are stuck with me forever!! They take such great care of my finicky 12-year old female Siamese cat, Reagan, it makes it a little easier to be away. Patrick has her under his spell. Reagan can be a difficult cat to get to know. Most of the time, she will come investigate who is in her house, maybe watch them prepare her food, and then head to the bedroom to wait for them to leave. Not with Patrick! She LOVES him! I see pics of her snuggling up with him on the couch and it makes me smile. I tease him that she has a kitty crush on him! The point of writing all of this is no matter how finicky, stand-offish, frightened, etc. your pet is, they still give them the best care possible while you're gone. They send a text message with photos of their visit after every one, so you can see for yourself how your pet is doing. I can't say enough good things about all of them, especially Patrick. Beware though, Reagan has claimed him for her personal sitter and she will fight you for him. 😉

Carrie Cowardin: STL Dog Butler took great care of my pups every time I've traveled over the last two years. It's so nice for the dogs to stay in their own home rather than in a stressful kennel environment, and getting pictures several times a day keeps my stress levels low too. At one point one of my dogs had a minor medical issue and they called me immediately and took amazing care of him. Really went above and beyond to make sure my dog had everything he needed, and even called a few days after I returned to make sure he was doing well. It's easy to schedule dog sitting online and they are always responsive and easy to communicate with. I would recommend them to anyone.

They always send pictures and show the route they take. Have been very happy with the whole thing. Pricing is reasonable also
Margaret Hayne: We absolutely loved this service! Our dog was super nervous and Julia did a fantastic job of bonding with him! She took the time to coax him into trusting her and he got to the point where he was excited to go on an adventure with her! We mostly used the service for a midday walk while we were away at work, but it worked well on the days we happened to work from home as well! We never had to worry about our walker not being around, it gave us a lot of peace of mind that if Julia happened to be out of town, etc. there would be another well-qualified walker to fill in for her and our schedules wouldn't be impacted. Getting the photos and report card about the walk was really a bright spot in the middle of the day while we had to be away from our pup. So nice to know that he got out and explored every day!

The process has been seamless and the organization and individual staff members are extremely flexible, accommodating, and professional. We completely trust the staff in our home and with our pup. Nichole Ellis: The St Louis Dog Butler service has changed our life but most importantly our fur baby’s life. We were new to the STL market over 2.5 years ago and needed a dog walker. I used recommendations for a local walker and sitter. They both seemed fine initially. After about 6-8 months, we noticed significant changes in our dog’s behavior- specifically nervousness and being very timid around strangers. We hired a trainer and went to see a behaviorist. That being said, both recommended new walkers and sitters and to look for specific qualities while doing so.We stumbled across The St. Louis Dog Butler. Service via google. Not only is the staff professional and professionally trained, but the whole process of recruitment/interviewing is for your benefit, your pets benefit but also their’s. We have been using Julia and Patrick for almost a year daily and we not only feel at ease, but so does our dog. She is back to her normal self and enjoys the routine and consistent love. We have recommended the service to everyone we meet needing some extra attention for their pet.

They send pics from the walk (which I love) and a detail description of the walk and the dogs. Lillian Manning: Saint Louis Dog Butler is amazing! They come during a three hour designated window M-Th and give our pup a 20 minute walk. They are great about communicating any updates and reminding us of holidays where we may actually be home. They have also been great about letting us know when there is anything unusual, i.e., door unlocked, big package on the porch, funky behavior by our pup, etc. I absolutely love the updates which include a summary and pictures. There is nothing better to brighten my workday than the Saint Louis Dog Butler updates. Special shoutout to the current rockstar regularly walking our pup - Beth L. Madison Hughes: I have been using them for about the past year and I love them! I have them walk my dog during the day while I am at work and I love that I get a daily report of how that walk was, as well as photos of my sweet girl! They have been walking her since she was a few months old, so now I have daily photos of her growing up!They are great at following my instructions for taking care of her. When she was spayed they made sure she didn't run or do any jumping and they gave her her medications. They inform me if anything seems wrong or if my girl seems like she might be sick. They even do my cat's litter sometimes and clean up that room for me!They also leave gifts for my cats and dog sometimes for holidays or birthdays which is so nice and thoughtful.I have also used them for cat sitting and dog sitting when I have gone on trips and they have been great for that as well! I recommend them to everyone.

They would not tell her the price for the services in advance despite her asking, they didn't call to let her know that her grooming was finished, they returned our dog wet, and when my daughter went to pay she was informed that the bath was $45 and the de-shedding shampoo was $15 (not a whole bottle, just a single shampooing)! $60 for a short haired 60 lb dog that loves baths to be sent home wet, smelly and still shedding! Absolute rip-off.

The staff is great, friendly and knowledgeable about my dogs and able to take questions about the play my dogs engage in when spending the day at Happy Tails. The crew at HT took the time to care and help attempt to get our boy aquatinted with other pups during orientation, but it just didn't work out. I appreciate the patience they had with my pup and I during the process. While we weren't able to continue going to HT, but I think it speaks volumes about the care that goes into ensuring theur current clients are safe and happy. I would highly recommend this facility considering all of the thought and love that goes into even just potential new clients. Thank you HT team!

The facility is clean and dog oriented, the staff is professional and friendly and you can use their daycare or boarding options 24/7/365...i.e, they are always open and there for you and your dog. They also have an excellent grooming section if you would like that service. And training. Nice indoor/outdoor play areas for doggies. Lovely place. Lovely people that truly love dogs!

When she arrives Dottie is very excited to see her and that is the only referral I need!Daryn is very thorough and clearly loves animals. She came to our home to meet us before our first trip and we went over an extensive checklist covering medical, daily schedule and likes and dislikes. While we are away she shares news and pictures of Dottie by text daily.Additionally, we have been happy to have her stay in our home. They are both "senior citizens" and a bit set in their ways. She works wonderfully with them and has the one who is scared of everyone eating out of her hand. She is always willing to help any time she can, even when I called her once needing her help to get one of my little guys to the emergency vet. Give her a try!
