Katie Mangum: Aimee and team are the BEST. They are always so caring, patient, and professional. My Westie, Lona, has been going to Flying Fur for over a year and gets excited every time she realizes she's going back. It's clear that Aimee gives so much care and attention to each pet. She made note of what makes Lona nervous (like nail clipping and face trimming) and somehow makes the right accommodations so that Lona comes home looking perfect every time. Definitely recommend!

When paying with my card I was charged more than grooming fee when I spoke with the owner about it I was told it was probably my bank that did it when I said they don't do anything like that I was told I'm done talking about that. All I can say is beware of the self tipping that happens. Other than that I did like the grooming but the response to what happened was very very rude.

Our 10 year old long haired cat has lost her eyesight and has stopped grooming herself. She was matted to the point I needed someone to help. They got us in same day! Kat Martin: Just took my husky here for the first time. Very relaxed, calm environment, with component staff that didn't shy away from encouraging and handling my stubborn dog! They got her done in half the time that the last groomer did for the same reasonable price, and she came out with her tail wagging and a cute little kerchief to boot. I'll definitely be back.

Melanie Boston: We go for nail trims since Shippo won't let us clip them and the staff here is amazing. They are kind and patient with Shippo and his Napoleon complex. We've been to other groomers and Shippo won't even go through the door. Not the case here, he struts in and is happy to see everyone.
Lo Dugan: Took my 12 year old fluffy cat to House of Phideau and they were great! It was our first time going there and I immediately felt at ease leaving my senior pet there in their care. The grooming was quick and well done and at a great cost. It's scary bringing your pet somewhere new sometimes, but Cheri made us feel right at home and gave some great tips on how to keep my cat healthy and feeling good. Will definitely be returning!

Ga'briel Nish: My two year old puppy had been going there for months. She kept getting UTIs, but we thought it was because of the bad winter and her having to hold her pee. This last time she got one, the vet said to look into her grooming history, that they might not be cleaning the tools. We tried the groomers one last time to see, we made them aware of the situation. Not even a week later, my puppy showed signs of a UTI and is now on medicine again. Hopefully for the last time.

Katherine Terry: I took my fluffy cat in for a groom. She's 12 years old and arthritic, so she's developed mats in the places she can't reach now. The groomer was very personable, and I stayed with her to keep my cat calm. The whole process of getting an uncarriage shave, comb, nail trim, and ear cleaning took less than half an hour and was very reasonably priced. When I have any more issues, I will be sure to come back.

Aisha Ibrahim: DELMAR DOGGIE DESIGN NEARLY KILLED MY DOG. My dog’s quality of life substantially declined after his first visit to this groomer. For 10 years while we lived in Texas my dog never had any issues at his groomer. After moving to St. Louis and choosing this place, Christina (the owner), decided to feed my 10-year-old poodle without my permission, during his visit, because she thought he looked underweight. Christina then attempted to conceal the fact that my dog had been vomiting shortly after he was given food she described as being soaked in hot water. Minutes after my dog returned home from his grooming appointment he began to throw up all over the house. When I asked Christina why she felt it was okay to feed my poodle without my permission and without knowledge of his medical history, she could only discuss the number of years she’d been a groomer. An experienced groomer would never feed your fur-baby. Christina lacks empathy and is negligent, she assumed the role of a veterinarian and my dog’s life has changed forever because of this.I’m sharing my experience, so this doesn’t happen to your cherished pet. I read the reviews on Google and decided to use Delmar Doggie Design that was a huge mistake. There are many respectable pet groomers in St. Louis, Delmar Doggie isn’t one of them.I’ve included a picture of my dog before Christina tried to kill him.
Hayley Kuehner: I can't speak highly enough about Christina and her team. I've been taking my 55lb beagle mix to them for over a year now and they're so warm and welcoming. He was scared at first but now happily walks right in without another look back at me! Even when he wasn't feeling his best they took such good care of him. Best groomers in St. Louis!

The ladies at DDD took their time and made sure that my dog Nell didn’t feel overwhelmed or scared during the process. When she came in, she was starting to get matted and tangled, and I could never get my pup to let me cut or brush her myself. I was starting to worry that I would never be able to get her properly groomed, but when I came to pick her up today she looked AMAZING!!! Not only did they give her an adorable haircut, but they gave her a new client special which included teeth brushing, nail shaping, a bath with a really good smelling shampoo, and a few other nice finishing touches.If you are like me and hate the idea of leaving your dog in a stranger’s hands even for just a few hours, just bring your pup here and you’ll be able to tell right away that this is a place ran by competent and careful dog lovers. You’ll be doing right by your dog, and as a nice bonus, you’ll be supporting a really cool shop ran by really kind people.

C Z: I have taken my Pomeranian Toastie to DDD several times already and have been very satisfied each time! He always looks and smells amazing afterwards, and his fur feels so soft, I can't help but bury my face in it. You can tell they spent the time to really get out the excess fur and make him feel super soft and silky.This last time I decided to switch things up and ask for a puppy cut, and I was SOOO happy with what I got! Toastie gets even more squeals and gasps from people on the street, and I can't stop cuddling him, he looks so cute. I had my sister bring her Pom Pancake to them, too, and she says they do a better job than PetSmart at a better price.Christina and her staff at DDD always do an amazing job, they're accommodating and flexible to their clients' needs, and they seem to genuinely care about very dog that comes through. I will keep taking Mr. Toastie to them as long as I can.
