Cara Mazzola: Dr. AuBuchon and the staff here are amazing! I have been coming to SP for the past 2.5 years with babies (so more frequent visits) and they are attentive and efficient. Dr. AuBuchon is brilliant but relatable and so easy to talk to. I am so happy to have found Southwest!

phoebe phalange: i can’t speak on the actual doctors here, as far as receptionists, one of the worst experiences i’ve ever had! she was extremely rude. she tried to say that my daughter did not have insurance even though i had my card! i asked her to call the number and they would also confirm she was on my insurance and she refused! thankfully a nurse came over to us to step in because she was even shocked! she took care of us but i will not be returning! if she had an issue with our insurance, she could have addressed it nicely, but instead she called me a liar straight to my face.
Fatima Ahmed: I love this office! It’s so much better than taking my children to a busy hospital (especially in recent times) for regular check ups. All of the doctors are great but Dr. Aubuchon is our primary and she’s amazing. I love how she is so relatable and really treats each child on their own level of growth. The nurses are all amazing and attentive. The office is child friendly and beautifully decorated. The wall art keeps my toddler distracted enough to get through a visit without freaking out. They also work very quickly but not hastily.

About 10 years ago, the power was out, it was the middle of an ice storm and still their offices were open to see us. Amazing people work in the office as well.

Kyle Montgomery: Southwest Pediatrics is amazing and I’m saying this as a medical professional myself. Dr. Aubuchon is incredible: whip smart, succinct while also being very empathic and warm. Every time I go there I feel so encouraged and reassured as a new parent. And the nursing and other support staff are wonderful as well. They are doing a great job managing precautions during the pandemic. I just can’t say enough good about this practice!
L Thomson: Our four children have been patients of Dr. Spewak since they were born, including our (now 15!) 24 week preemie. We no longer live in south St. Louis but continue to make the trek from Ballwin...that is how excellent the care is at Southwest Pediatrics. We’ve experienced every doctor (and nurse practitioner) and every one of them is fantastic. The staff is friendly, professional, and willing to go the extra mile. My kids (the oldest now 17) are sad they can’t continue going there into adulthood! We highly recommend Dr. Spewak and the entire staff of Southwest Pediatrics.
Justin On: Very unprofessional and with outdated sexist ideals. Their policies put my 2.5 year old son at unnecessary risk. I have not had a reply regarding my concerns, or a response to a request to add relevant medical information to my sons medical record. I was told that "the doctor is too busy to consult with you before treatment" and I'm the legal guardian. I was asked to prove I am the legal guardian (presumably because I'm a man exercising his parental rights) and I've never been asked that before by any business or medical practice. Deplorable and put my son at risk.
Kate Monroe: We love Dr. Spewak, but several of the staff members are rude and snarky. Also can be difficult to reach a nurse or schedule an appointment. Overall, office seems disorganized.
seamus the pooper: Wonderful practice! A staff of great doctors and nurse practitioners cares for children in a very child-calming manner. We have been clients for over 25 years, and our three oldest were sad to leave when they turned 21. I have always had same day appointments for illness and great referrals for more serious matters.
Jessica Henderson: My son and I love Dr. Aubuchon! She listens and you can tell she cares about the treatment she is giving, not just hurrying us along to see the next kid. My only complaint is that they don't have a patient portal....which is crazy since they are affiliated with WashU
