Grace Church STL: what do users think?
Snuggly Muffin: Bad neighbors.
Saundra B.: Pastor Ron Tucker is a God-fearing man and teaches what we need to know to make it to heaven. Not everyone appreciates this type of teaching but if you want to see Jesus, it is a must need in your life so that you know what to do to be saved for all eternity. Come check it out.Ask God to reveal to you what in your life needs to change and do it immediately. Tomorrow is promised to no one the Holy Bible says. If you are sinning, repent and ask God for forgiveness. Jehovah God will wash away your sins as far as the East is from the West. Get into a Bible teaching, God-Fearing teaching so that you can be saved for all eternity. Jesus is coming soon! We do not have time to wait. Keep preaching the truth, Pastor Ron no matter how bad it hurts. We need to be ready for the rapture and none of us wants to spend it in hell burning, being tortured for all eternity. If you are looking for the anything goes church this one is not for you.Try to look deeper into the message being taught here instead of the negative commentary being given. Ask yourself this question (after you read the Holy Bible) is this message aligning with scripture?Bible Verses about Homosexuality Leviticus 18:22 ~ You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination. Leviticus 20:13 ~ If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.We love all people because that is what Christ instructed us to do but we do not condone the sinful behavior. Be careful not to get these two identities mixed up. Yes, God does judge the heart and He is also clear on what is right and what is wrong. God gives us “free-will” so we can judge for ourselves, but look at the wickedness in our world. I don’t think I need to point it out. It’s all around us. The Holy Bible talks about all of what Pastor Ron is teaching, below the surface.Stop looking at the divide; Democrats, Republicans and Liberals ~ what principles are they standing on? That’s the message he is driving home. If you are looking at the surface, you are going to see politics. If you are looking at the underlying message you are going to see alignment with the WORD OF GOD. Again, “free-will” you get to decide. There are so many instructions to follow in the Bible to live a God-fearing life but some of you only want to see what you feel instead of what’s the truth. That my friend is a dangerous path.Pastor Ron is on the God-Fearing path that is why he is preaching this hard message. Instead of making judgmental remarks try praying instead. Let God be his judge instead of you.Just my thoughts.
william mcbenge: Very good Christ focused .
Jordan Smith: Grace church is the best church. I have been there since I was an infant and it’s just a really good church.
Susan Nack: Beware of this church. Here is a letter I wrote to them. Never heard a response back.Good Afternoon,I am not a regular congregant at your church. I visited last Saturday and was present for the "Town Hall" meeting. I appreciated that you stated your sources and listed resources so that people can research topics for themselves. The music and production was lovely and it's clear that your church has a great heart. You have ministries to help the hurting and equip believers. That's wonderful.During the Town Hall I heard treatises regarding anti-transgenderism, anti-homosexuality, and anti-anti-racism. The support for these was that we are all one in Christ, so our labels do not matter. And it was clearly communicated that the highest priority in your church right now is civic engagement. The problem is, those are mere symptomatic issues.Jesus was not engaged in the government the way you are proposing. He was meta. He was BEYOND Roman law, or the long-desired Jewish kingdom. He was not afraid of sin. He looked at the heart, not the behavior. Often the disciples wanted Jesus to get involved in menial details that didn't matter in the context of the entire gospel narrative. I believe your treatises were of these menial details. The more the American evangelical church focuses on these superficial issues, the more it will be branded as disconnected and unaware. I am afraid you are only perpetuating right-wing extremism (I saw a QAnon hoodie in the audience), being distracted from the main point of the kingdom of God (reference the Screwtape Letters).Of course, Jesus did care about culture, context, and the material. When He healed, He resolved the physical ailment, but cared more about the heart. Did He care about circumcision? Did He still enforce no bacon-eating? And now, does He really care which pronoun one prefers? Is that His main concern? Really? You disparaged DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) training quite non-diplomatically. Do you really think Jesus would have a problem with being respectful and (dare I say) tolerant? I do not agree that this is an area where the church needs to push harder. Quite the opposite. The world already knows all the things the church stands against.Jesus knew that, at the core, what each of us needs is love. His priority was freeing the captives and protecting the vulnerable. Have you taken the time to connect with transgender individuals; to understand their stories? Or do you just pick a black Christian man who refuses to see color then brand racism as superfluous? Do you celebrate our differences in ethnicity, sex, and political alignment, or do you gloss over them? Neither Republicans nor Democrats nor any other flavor have it right. America's system is great, but not perfect, and will not matter at the end of the story. Do you really want your legacy to be "We stood up against men wearing women's clothes!"? You disrespect every black person in your church when you scoff at the Proud Family's song, you ignore the atrocities slaves suffered in America when you say "hey, we weren't the first to enslave people!" Shame on you. Will you stand up for the vulnerable, which ARE the trans population, the gay and lesbian population, the poor, the exploited, the people who couldn't vote until 1870... or do you just want to box the air and be lumped in with evangelicals who do not understand the hearts of the hurting?May God help us all, with Jesus's understanding, and the Holy Spirit's guidance.
Sheri Bickmeyer: I am a member of this church and have attended since 1999. The leadership here cares about preaching the Gospel and discipleship. They have demonstrated many times over the past 20+ years that they are constantly seeking truth, are not afraid to admit when they were wrong, and change course when God leads them to, regardless of any negative consequences on attendance. Sometimes the light of truth is uncomfortable for awhile, if you're used to living in the darkness, but when you stick around, test what is taught according to scripture, and stay the course you will be blessed! This church is welcoming to young and old, every ethnicity and background, and welcoming of every past and current struggle. What they will not do is let you stay mired in sin unchallenged. I'm proud to call Grace my church.
Gary Bushart: Best church ever
Lindsey Ritter: Came here to echo the other 1 star sentiments…This church is a DISgrace. The most blatantly hateful rhetoric I have ever seen displayed on the pulpit. If you love far right wing Christian nationalism this is the place for you but if you love God and want to hear the true gospel being preached…run and don’t look back.
D B: I was quite relieved to see a church stand up against all the liberal transgender nonsense that we see in the church... the church is very clear where they stand you like it or leave it... that was very refreshing to see them not worry about modern culture like most churches do... they aren't worried about political correctness... they are just speaking the truth because right now the world needs truth....If I had to offer any correction or suggestion I would say stop playing all the weird videos while the music is going on. That is a huge distraction.
Gregory Jenner: Love this church. Used to go to this church for youth group and at the main building for service and volunteered here. The people here are great.
Adam Breitenbach: My family moved from Louisiana to STL and have been looking for a church home. We stopped in to Grace Church last Sunday and were immediately impressed. The people were friendly and welcoming, the church was gorgeous. The children’s area was nice and I felt safe leaving our young son. They performed Christmas music, which was beautiful, and talked about the many programs and events they had scheduled. Then it took a sharp turn. Some person (not sure if it was a pastor or guest) began some fire-branded political rant. He was literally on his phone, on stage, reading Tweets from Breitbart and ranting about liberals and transgendered people for 10-15 minutes. He sounded like he had been building built up some anger all week and sort of exploded in a disorganized tangent that had very little to do with the message of Christ and more about his personal political agenda. I’m not sure if that’s a regular thing, but, reading some other reviews, I take it that it is.After that, someone else preached an uninspired message on Romans that had literally nothing to do with the awkward rant prior.All-in-all, if you believe that church service should also be a right-wing political rally, this place will probably suit you well. Otherwise, I’d recommend visiting somewhere else.
Linda Moore: Use to love this church, but now it’s all politics and that is not of God. It’s sad really, Will continue to pray for the leaders here and the members. Hate to leave this but wanted to speak my peace. God has a plan and a purpose for your life just be careful.
It's Me: Nice
Erin Coats: I grew up attending this church. Unfortunately so much has changed, the political agenda is poured on so thick. Liberal based sermon views feel hostile and cold, nothing like I used to feel coming here in the past. It was heartbreaking. I had to remember that the the pastor is simply a man with a platform to say what he feels is right. After grieving the loss, I have much more peace after separating. I pray for their leadership and congregation.
Hannah Sprengel: From my first visit to this church I knew it was where I was meant to be! This congregation are warriors for Christ! Thank you for your strength & courage!
steve snyder: Great church and one of the few in the St. louis area that is not afraid, and does not apologize for standing up for Biblical truth in the time of the cancel culture and liberal dribble that has invaded most Evangelical type churches. Don't listen to the apostates that have given this church negative reviews. The time has come for the church to wake up, stand up, and not be afraid of the culture or government that wants to silence us Bible believing Christians into submission!Thank God for Pastor Ron and the members at Grace Church that are awake and speaking out about the mess our country has become and warning us about the danger we are in as believers in the American Church if we do not be the salt and light Jesus wants us to be! We will quickly become the American underground church if the country remains on the path we are on. Even so, come Lord Jesus come! Amen and Amen!
Jeanne Savel: I’ve been a member of Grace Church for 15+ years. I live local and Im active with the Sunday school program. Our pastors speak the truth, are not worried about popularity, but teach scripture. I look forward to every sermon every week. The weekly sermons inspire me to be a better person, and grow my relationship with God. My grandson goes to Sunday school on a regular basis, and he has a solid foundation in Christ, in spite of this tumultuous world we live in. The music, leadership, sanctuary, are phenomenal, and I’m so blessed to be able to worship at Grace. May God bless alll the staff and volunteers who walk the walk, and give of their time to support our brothers and sisters in Christ. ALL are welcome here - come join the spiritual movement, and make God #1 in your life. It is the ONLY way to have peace in your mind, body, and soul. Don’t listen to the MSM narrative in this evil world.. listen to your heart and get back in church. It’s the only way to start your week off right. To God be the glory 🙏🏽
David Anderson: Best Church EVER!!!!
Robygirl W: I was looking for a church home in St. Louis because I’m moving there from Atlanta, Ga this month. I saw this church pop up on google search. So, i went on their website and researched the church to get more information about them. I was excited because i found a church that could be my next church home, and was very impressed by their website and their prayer ministry. However, after listening to the pastor on YouTube, and the hate and condemnation that came out of his mouth…. It clearly shows he’s a false prophet, and he is turning people away from God. I turned off his sermon 3 minutes into it, and called my mom and told this is not the church. His hate for liberals and democrats is very strong; and, it’s a contradiction to the word of God. The Bible says: “For God so loved the world (John 3:16)…let that sink in, when your pastor is up there spewing hate! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only son.” John 3:17 says, “God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” How is your pastor following Christ by condemning the world? If he is a pastor/ priest then he should be following the example of the most highest priest, who did not spew hate or condemnation! The Bible says: James 4:12- “There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” Is your Pastor putting himself on the same level as God? God has no equals, and even Christ wasn’t sent to condemn. Preach the message out of love and acceptance, so the world can see the goodness in Christ and want to change from their sinful ways! I’m sorry, I can’t be a part of this organization…. It’s not following Christ. I pray for you all. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
julie walker: The pastor of this church, RON TUCKER (with the help of his parents), kidnapped me as an infant. They placed me with an incredibly abusive family who hid beneath the umbrella of the church for 15 years. At which time I was brainwashed enough to believe they were my adoptive parents and they legally adopted me at 15. My father was NEVER given the opportunity to be a dad because of this corrupt coward who will stop at nothing to silence me. He will not answer questions of WHY? He is not fit to pastor a flock. I’ve got all the evidence against him, and my forcibly adopted parents, get out while you still can!!!Still the only ‘review’ with no comment. The pastor HIDES from his sin. He will not repent, he has not asked for forgiveness, not from me OR my dad! Ron Tucker is a coward who has NO problem ruining the lives of others.
Pastor Robert Battle: The Spirit of Christ is in that place of Worship.

terry logan: This church will change your life! The people are wonderful and pastor Mark is amazing person. Even after moving away from the area I still feel a connection with him and the church. He was a tremendous influence on myself and my children. We still communicate to this day.
