Chandler Prince: I've had a few negative experiences over the years, but it was always the same member of staff, their repair guy. I had a setup done on a Strat with a Floyd Rose system and wanted it in a non standard tuning. I got it back, it was tuned in E. The difference in tension in tunings was enough that if you want it perfect, you ought to wait for the neck to settle to be sure it's right. I couldn't convince their guy to make it right.The same person once asked me if I could afford the guitar I wanted to see. That rubbed me the wrong way.I could be convinced to go back if I was told that guy doesn't work there any longer but, according to their site, he still does.
chris daughtry: Great shop. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Service is top notch. Recently purchased a guitar and found that the set-up was causing some pain in my hands, while playing. David worked with me on getting the set-up right. Now playing pain free and I really appreciate the extra time he spent getting it right. Don't think I ever would have gotten that attention to detail at one of the larger big box stores.
Tim Dolan: Ben is a awesome guitar tech! He did a great job fixing a guitar I bough off Sweetwater. It was like a new instrument. I've had 2 guitars and a amp fixed in the last couple of months. They are super friendly and knowledgeable. Can't wait to make my next purchase here.
Travis Bursik: I've bought an amp and a Squier Bass VI from this place and each interaction has been professional and kind. My bass was set up for free and David was in regular contact regarding my purchase and shipping. A reliable spot that cares for its customers.

I hope they enjoyed their $160, that they exchanged zero merchandise for. You have to have proof that youve never used the card previously? Impossible to prove. Thieves.

Jimmy Conway: Awesome little guitar store. They have a good selection of six and twelve string acoustic and electric guitars, bass guitars, and amplifiers to crank up your sound too. Almost any brand names you can think of, new and used. Also pedals and stuff for sound effects. I'll definitely be a future customer!
Michael Hagmeier: This is my favorite music shop in the St. Louis area. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they have a great selection.Whenever any of my guitars need to be worked on, I take them to David's. They do great work at a reasonable price. I have always been happy with their work.

The staff is very polite and knowledgeable about the merchandise that is in the shop. Their prices are extremely reasonable with the brands and items that are available. Highly recommend!

David Eschbach: In my experience, Planet Score is the absolute best in St Louis. Their selection is great and they keep their inventory fresh. Not to mention, pricing is great. If you love, like or even tolerate music, then this place should be on your go-to list.

Easily my favorite record store in STL (Record Exchange is a close second, but for fully different reasons).
