S. Tinsley: We were in town for the weekend and stopped into the Museum spur of the moment. It was $15/adult ticket. There was no wait. First thing we did was use the women's restroom. Most of the soap dispensers were out of soap and the restroom was quite messy considering at the time we entered we were the only 2 guests. The actual museum experience was nice. It is a self-guided tour. It takes you through the different decades of jazz music from the Jim Crow era to current day. There are also some hands on exhibits to try. They also have a gift shop as you exit. Definitely worth a visit at least once.
David Stein: They could give a flying leap about the community that they have forced their way into or the deeply rooted blues community that already existed in St.Louis before gracing us with their holier than thou presence. Furthermore their “director” is outwardly condescending , meanly sarcastic and rude.
