Trish Wolf: NOTE: This is NOT Fischer & FrichtelAbout a year ago Fischer Homes reached out to local realtors with the notification that they were buying Payne Homes.  They welcomed realtors and offered a nice commission pay out to anyone bringing them buyers for their new construction homes. I added them to my email template that I send out to every new buyer who inquires about new construction and at the end of last year I had a repeat client of mine decide to build with Fischer. They named me as their realtor at their initial meeting and the sales person even googled me and checked out my website so that I could be added to the transaction. Fast forward to last week and I just got an email from the administration saying that they’ve decided not to pay me a commission because I did not attend the initial sales meeting with my buyer. NOTE: This is an out of state buyer who met with them virtually and I never received an invite.So BEWARE- If they will burn bridges with local realtors who are 12,000 strong, what will they do to a single buyer who has no back up???Service:Custom home design
Greg Abel: My current home was built by Payne (now Fischer Homes) 4 years ago. I have had many issues including HVAC trunks not being connected, popped seams, etc, but the flatwork on the front porch is obviously defective. Most sections of the driveway, sidewalk, steps are fine. One section of the front porch is crumbling and getting worse with each freeze. The aggregate is poured too high and the skim is only barely covering the aggregate. The skim pops and the aggregate crumbles. Payne says this normal and to use some patch and then stain everything to make it match. It's insulting, as anyone who sees this can tell it's just this one botched section that is crumbling. I will not be recommending Payne homes (Fischer Homes) to any future clients.
Margaret Nissen: Update: this review was done in 2017 when it was still Payne Family Homes. We hope that Fischer Homes does a much better job at customer service."We have been in our new home for 6 months. There are some items that still need to be fixed. However, they constantly tell us that they don't do, they can't fix, that's not our job. I am sick of their attitude."

He always got back to me within the same day if I had any question or needed something. John always sent us pictures of our property during the building process to keep us updated and just incase we couldn't make it out to the site. He continued this even when he relocated to a different office/subdivision. He was very professional and friendly and made the whole experience very fun! I have no complaints.
