Rodney's Trains & Toys: what do users think?
Lenny: Come on guys, I thought this was train store, not antique train store. N scale stuff about 30 years old..
Sam Brotherton: I took my 2 year old to the store to look at trains. Rodney took time to talk to him and turn on all the trains for him. great customer service we had an awesome experience!
Monster Ford: Rodney is a thief , he will take junk brands and put them in Athrean boxes and try to pass them off. Rodney is rude knows absolutely nothing about half the stuff he sells or it's overpriced. Much better shops around one on Manchester one on Lackland both good shops.
Terry Brooks: I enjoy going to this place. Both gentlemen are so nice and helpful and welcoming.
malcolm patterson: Great place nice friendly guy's
S: Husband loves this place and the nice men working there. Always kind and helpful.
Lucas Hawk: Saw this guy at a train show. Watched him tell a lady her rare pink Lionel train wasn’t valuable because it was “repainted” and then low balled her an offer. Luckily my friend went over and told the lady to go have a professional look at it because it was a very rare train. Not sure I could trust a store owner that’s willing to lie to make money.
Karsten H Kessler: Great place for Lionel and similar. Staff with a passion for the hobby and very knowledgeable
Curt Balding: Trains galore!
Steven Moore: Everything you need regarding trains . All gauges ,new or vintage and even antique collectibles. Something new all the time coming into the store. Will work within your budget to get what you want .
David Johnson: this place is a must if you like trains. great place to get all your train needs.
Taylor Shatto: Saw him on billy on the street and enjoyed his personality
Brodie Pues: Great staff. Had a great experience.
Bill Buden: Amazing collection of vintage and antique model trains and toys. Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.
John Hansen: Cool place to see a good assortment of vintage trains and toys.
Joe Kibler: Local, friendly, helpful as always!
Jericho Taetz: Maybe I’m missing something from all these good reviews but we brought our 1959 American Flyer train set in to see what it would take to get it running and Rodney was extremely rude the entire time. None of us appreciated his attitude. We left very disappointed.
Michelle Pusczak: Super friendly staff very helpful. 100% would recommend this place! Don't trust your GPS lol mine took me over a mile the wrong way 🤣
Lorraine Woollard: You need a bigger store!
paul rice: Near place ! Super friendly! Great Prices !
duane nehring: Can't get out of there without buying something

Switch Stand: what do users think?
Robert Moreland: Great train shop lots of variety and stock of items. I have been going to the Switch- Stand since I was a kid when they where in maplewood mo. I purchased many items for my layout from them. They are very good at repairs, helping figure out what track I needed and wiring need to get my new layout running.
Doug Jennings: Nice little shop. Everything you need for trains. Good repair service.
Daniel Doyle: Friendly staff. Good prices. Lots of inventory. Service is top notch as well as the repair department.
Karsten H Kessler: One of a kind store. Covers all scales with extensive stock. They have spare parts, can fix almost everything. Go visit the place!
N8 Friesz: Nice selection of trains but overpriced. Second time to the store neither of the times I went did the employees acknowledge us or asked if we needed assistance. Will not come back. :(
Steven Costa: Awesome place great service
paul rice: a lot of O Guage , some HO and N , Fair apricrs
david ard: Nothing but trains owner is the greatest nicest person ever.he is very capable of doing things right. He knows what is what. And has it
Zachary Bush: Excellent selection of everything Model Train related
Robert Mccaskill: No G scale train supplies for sale anymore
douglas Jennings: Great staff and always willing to help the customer. Everything you need for your trains, old and new.
Gerald Harris: It was just fine
Cannonball Productions: Very nice collection of model trains
Little Mac’s Trains: Good selection of products. Always nice to see accessories in person. Old guy in back seemed more interested in the computer than saying good morning. Sad really. Other reviews speak of friendly service, I believe them. Unfortunately was not my experience. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day. For a novice railroader, this could be very discouraging. I most likely will not return.
Motocraze40 2018: Go to shop for model railroading supplies and repairs. The owner always goes above and beyond to track down answers, parts, new items for my collection, and repairs are done right the first time.
Monster Ford: Very unfriendly went in looking to buy a G scale layout normally shop at train town but closed on. mondays i wont be back here
Paul Spilman: Very unfriendly. Never spoke a word to me the entire time I looked around.
Alberto R Esparza: A great Train Store with tons and tons of models and modeller related items...I found they are stocked with styrene products
Will Nix: Good train shop. Helped repair an old electric locomotive
Chris Shank: This is the nicest model train shop I have ever been to!
Robert Artac: No high end or DCC. Starter sets mostly. Good ish selection of Lionel and 3 rail stuff.

Lee Folino: Great model train hobby shop with an amazing, huge layout!
Gary Fuller: Highly recommended! Had a great time introducing my Grandkids to Model Railroading. They talked about the good time they had for days. A very special thanks to the owner for sharing your layout and your Military service to our Country!
David Greenberg: Nice small train store and great model railroad club layout. Too bad they don't accept credit cards as I would have purchased more.
Brittany “Brat” Johnson: Cool little hobby store.
ladon mick: Neat hobby shop but closed for Covid right now.
Joshua Coons: It has a very detailed train display. Also they are reasonably priced.
Dennis Fickinger: The train layout is the largest and most detailed I have seen.
K Stouffer: If you like trains and modelling, you'll enjoy this layout. This is a great family place for kids 8-10+ and adults with an imagination for fun. You'll find a vast array of track, trains and accessories in multiple scales waiting to be discovered. And on the 1st Sunday of the month, the shop opens up to let kids who meet a height requirement (call for details) run trains themselves in this 60'x70' lifelike diarama of mountains, quarries, rivers, tunnels, factories, neighborhoods and even a thunderstorm. Have fun!
Jack Wyatt: A very nice small store had what I wanted at a reasonable price.
James Kaiser: Great train layout. Owner is a great guy, very nice.
Motocraze40 2018: Family owned and operated, have shopped here for years. Good people and huge HO scale layout, a must see for any model railroad fan.

HustleDude Model Trains: what do users think?
GCR: I can't imagine a place that has a worse selection of model train items than Hobby Lobby, which is nothing. Also, a tiny sign on the side of a building isn't a good way to advertise yourself.11/10 would visit again, Mr. Hustler(Note: you may be closed for realz, so don't be mad)
Timothy Cipolla: Frank is a great guy. Friendly, knowledgeable and Excellent customer service!
Joe Morgan: Frank is the man he fixed my broken bigboy steam engine and his prices are fair he is agreat guy to do business with

Checkered Flag Hobby Country: what do users think?
Eric Wilkinson: Reminds me of my childhood and now I get to take my kids there. Knowledgeable staff but the place could use a dusting and some carpet shampoo.
Brian Simmons: Knowledgeable, friendly. Always a pleasure. My go to rc store.
rick Strong: Knowledgeable staff fair prices what they wernt closed Monday tho
William Covington: Absolutely wonderful experience. I, for all intents and purposes, was not necessarily a great customer (meaning I’m new to this hobby and needed help, but didn’t know what questions to ask). Both employees were fantastic, asking me questions to narrow down what would be best for my needs. Extremely grateful for their time and hope to be a customer for years to come.
Nick M: Went today with an unknown issue and was given great help. They took time to try out different solutions and helped me get my car running before I even left the store. Can recommend
flint gibson: Always good service.
Susan Wright: The first thing I noticed was the filthy front door. It didn’t get much better once inside. I honestly don’t know how they can pay rent and stay in business. Very disappointed.
Daniel Hermann: Unbelievably helpful!
Bill Rice: I was expecting more but not bad
Benjamin Hunter: I always try to support this Hobby shop David has help out a lot
Zach: Never has a single thingNever has any parts for common Rc carsAbsolutely no variety
heavyseven88: Great shop and it seems family owned
MY AT&T Account: Checkered Flag hobby spin around for a long time one of the best RC stores around South County parrot St Charles vstock ballpark has very much of everything that you want in RC cars only check it out you would not be disappointed I've been going there for years Steve has been an awesome guy
Paulette Newell: I needed a really tiny screw, they had it.
James Wiswcarver: Could not ask for more knowledgeable people about rc cars.
Nicholas Jopin: The guy super helpful but seems to be swamped all the time so goo luck to him and thanks for the parts
Nate Dogg: I really wish you guys were opened longer than 6 on saturdays.
Charlie sanders: There website lacks products.. I called them and "lady" sounded irritated. With my question and when I saids thanks she said nothing and just hung up.I definitely wont go here.
John Miller: Nice shop they seem to be more geared for RC. Looked like you could build one from scratch if you wanted to.
Johnny Cline: Others have little more selection but I did get what I came for no problems
Kevin Russell: Beware, these guys are anti-maskers. They don't wear masks, and encourage their customers not to wear theirs either.
