Chazbakka: By far the worst customer service of any company I deal with. Whatever you do don't call them more than once to ask about your product. I get nothing but attitude when I call over there.

Lloyd Todd: Had our mail box redone by Theiss, Feb 2022 not as pleased as when it was done by them several years ago, the brass plating is not holding up after only 2 months
Thomas Hardy: great experience working with Theiss. I wanted a special brass bracket fabricated for my folding kayak. They modified the design twice to get it right without charging me any additional fees! I'll be bach!

David Brunjes: Cannot say too many good things about Theiss Plating. After obtaining 5 quotes to have all my home's door hardware replated from brass to brushed nickel, I chose Theiss. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Their reputation based on online reviews was simply the best.Communication was excellent. Eric L: I brought in a silver fork that had a spin in the garbage disposal. They did a fantastic job repairing the damage and in significantly less time than estimated. I highly recommend them for any kind of restoration or repair needs.

Polly Smith: We were remodeling our bathroom and changing all plumbing fixtures from polished brass to brushed nickel. Bought all new fixtures from Moen except the Roman tub fixture. There was nothing that would fit the 15 year old plumbing without replacing expensive valves under the tile and under the tub itself. Theiss Plating replated our fixture and did a beautiful job for much less than we would have spent. I would recommend them to anyone that needs replating. Thanks for doing a great job.

Dominick Cariati: Paint matched a bottle for my car. Ordered the correct color that matches my car, and even located on the vehicle sticker. Paint i received, is black, when it is supposed to be Metallic Gray. It is jet black and nowhere near metallic gray. Therefore I am extremely unsatisfied with my order and will have to get it done professionally anyway.

345hp SSCamaro: I Had the same issue with these people as the last 2 Reviewers from 2019. I had sent pics to them to get some estimates along with phone calls and messages as well. I even left it with a girl that answered the phone and told her I had tried to reach them. No response. I would look else where.
Laura Agee: Sam helped to breathe new life into a pair of candelabras that have been in my family for many years. In addition to putting a beautiful finish on them, he went above and beyond to fix a structural issue that was keeping one of them from standing straight. We were very happy with the customer service and quality of work.
Bernard Maxfield: Drove over from Illinois to get an estimate on some pieces to be plated. The person that does the estimating wasn't around so I left the pieces there and was assured I would get a call with said estimate soon. Three days later I called and had to leave a message which was never returned. After a week I went and retrieved the pieces which were still laying on their counter and took them to their competitors. Don't waste your time with this group.

Dale Roberts: Wonderful polishing job at a reasonable price, extremely happy with the results I got from bringing a locomotive whistle to American Plating Co.! As Ah-nold says: "Ah'll be back!" June 12th, 2019 this should be a second review because as I said after the first time there, I did indeed come back to get some more work done. I was just as happy with those pieces as I was with the first time. I had two antique fire extinguishers polished this time, and they look great!

Bill Birmingham: Overpriced and under performing. I had 88 plates, 4.25x0.200" electroless nickle plating. Plates came back with fingerprints and smudges in the plating. Turn around was quick, but who needs quick without quality?
