Sara Lorentz: I was recommended here by a friend specifically for chiropractic services with Dr. Dan. I had suffered a back injury at the gym and was in significant pain. I had never seen a chiropractor before and had some serious unrealistic fears. Dr. Dan assessed my pain, asked very specific questions, and walked me through what would happen and why.Dr. Dan set clear expectations for what would happen after the visit - mainly that I could still be in pain or see a shift/increase in pain the next couple of days before there was a decline. I was glad to know this and did experience it, but then a few days later my back pain was gone.I've gone back since for another visit and it was very efficient.

My partner and I have a new small business massage and spa and traveled over 20 minutes to purchase disposable face cradles. After allowing us to explain what we need, she proceeded to say that she knows what we're talking about, she has it but she can't help us because she's already closed her register.

How about how my dear friend and licensed massage therapist referred me here just before the COVID pandemic was shutting things down. I’d always joked about this being my “back up career.” Well, after attending school here and being taught by some remarkable individuals, I landed a job at a luxury spa in STL. My training left me confident to pass the national exam for licensing (MBLEX) and apply to the place in which I did.I have taken numerous continued education hours with The Healing Arts Center and my continued training has further accelerated my growth in the field. I have taken the Lomi Lomi with Cuky Harvey, Reiki II and Reiki III/Mastery with Tom and Sabrina Tessereau, and I am currently enrolled in the Breathwork Master Track and Pranic Healing Master Track.Once those services are completed I will have to be sure to update this review.As far as the professional clinic goes, I have received multiple BioCranial Treatments with Tom. I have had Chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Dan, and received massages from the student clinic. This school is full of diversity, honor and integrity.My life has absolutely changed for the better after attending this school. If I could go speak at career fairs about this place I certainly would. I wish I had known about this school when I graduated high school. Instead I did food, retail management, marketing, accounting and office work. What a game changer this has been.My quality of life has sky-rocketed exponentially. My family sees a difference in who I have been able to become since graduation. Each day is such a precious gift, and bringing wellness to others each day that I am able is the best way to prove how sweet this life really can be.Thank you to The Healing Arts Center Staff, Educators, Sabrina and especially Tom.

Alisia Ray: I went to The Healing Art’s Center in 1998. I have to say, it changed my life forever. Tom T. Introduced me to meditation, reiki, and the world of healing. Soon after graduation I moved to Minneapolis and within months I was traveling with bands and working with professional athletes. A few years later I was hired by the NFL and worked with a several teams over the coarse of the next 15 years. I now run my company that I started in 1999 (HALO Healing Therapies co.) we cater to luxury hotels, We do all the bodywork for U of M athletics, and my team does all the massage for United Minnesota soccer.I have met many greats in my life, no one affected my life more than Tom Tessereau. My daughter enrolled in the school and there’s a lot of shadiness with the financial aid office. There is NO WAY! That anyone in the financial aid office needs the password to anyone’s Financial Aid account. I had tried several times to speak with Jennifer Dieterle and she’s avoiding me as to why she needs my password to my FAFSA account as well as my social security number. I’m not the student but my daughter will be. I have other independent children who will be attending college as well and the financial aid office at their schools has NEVER asked for that information. Well Jennifer just to let you know I really hope you know what you’re doing when being fraudulent with the government as well as trying to steal someone’s identity. PLEASE DO A THOROUGH RESEARCH WHEN ATTENDING SMALL NAME SCHOOLS.

Tracie B (tracies stuff): I took couses here years ago and enjoyed them. I am disappointed this program has become so far removed from science-based theories and practices and increasingly focused on spiritism. There are many massage therapists who would make excellent practitioners who do not wish to learn such practices. There are even more clients who are seeking a well trained massage therapist but not a spiritual facilitator. Not only is spiritism being taught, it appears it is being taught at the expense of theory and practice that would serve therapists well once in the field.

Wendy Weight: Danni is a 5-star massage therapist! She met me in the small apartment space where I was staying as a guest and managed to create a soothing atmosphere in the middle of chaos. She’s an excellent listener and communicator – taking the time to ask thoughtful questions both before starting. I was particularly stressed and knotted in several places but by the time she was done with me, I felt like new! She worked on tough tension spots and melted them into butter with her magical, soothing hands (which manage to be amazingly gentle and phenomenally strong at the same time). I highly recommend her and plan to hire her whenever I’m in town.

Cameron Frey: I have been going to Align for about a month now. I have really enjoyed becoming a member of this studio. Yoga for Beginners on Sunday mornings with Danni, has become a vital part of my weekend routine. Restorative Yoga with Bridget on Monday evenings is another great class, Bridget has amazing energy! Strength + Balance with Danni on Thursday evenings is a great core workout. I also received a great massage from Tonica, and looking forward to trying out some of the other services that are offered. This studio is a total gem in the Shaw Neighborhood!

tonica harris: Jessica’s energy is gentle, sweet and quite humbling. What she offers in her sessions is unique and special. I was able to rest and receive guidance in different aspects of my life. If you’re looking to rest, reset and reflect book a Theta Healing session with Jessica. I’ve never experienced anything like it before. She is a wonderful and is truly gifted.

Christine N: I take yoga classes here regularly (usually the Monday 5:30pm Yin & Vinyasa class with Jessica) which are wonderful. I’ve also taken 2 of Jessica’s Yoga Nidra workshops, which have been a great way to relax and take some time for myself. Highly recommend both and glad to have this yoga studio in the neighborhood.

Jessica Caimi: I received an amazing massage from Tonica! She has a very kind energy and created such a safe, comforting experience from the very start. Her bodywork style is very intuitive and I felt like she both listened to what I wanted and tuned in to offer work I didn't even know I needed. She added so many thoughtful touches with essential oils, heated pillows, and beautiful music to make the experience even better. I would highly reccomend booking with her!

Becky Shampay: Align is a wonderful place, I’m so glad I found them a few months ago. Everyone there is so nice and friendly and the space is really warm and welcoming. My favorite classes by far is Anna Mae’s Qi Flow class on Mondays (mix of Qigong and Yoga) and Kim’s Hip & Low Back Restoration flow on Thursdays. Both incredible teachers, I couldn’t recommend them more!! 💛

Danni listens to what you are looking for in class before you begin, including focus areas and new poses. Lots of variety in class, but all of them have been fabulous.
