The benefits of this being a non-profit are vast... membership is tax deductible AND you don't have to pay the 10+% STL City sales tax. Folks are friendly, the store is neat and well organized, and it's a great place to pick up all your staples!

Mary Diamond Healey: I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and we absolutely love what they do. They have been life savers during the COVID-19 pandemic as we can order our groceries on their website and then pick up our pre-packed box a few days later. We miss being able to drop in for a few items here and there but the convenience and service they provide has been so great. I can't say enough good things about this place, I tell everyone in St. Louis about them - it's everything I could want out of a community market! They give back, they support local farmers, and provide healthy food for under served communities, all while providing delicious and affordable food to me and my family. It's the best!

Toni Richter: Great shop with really friendly staff. Each item we purchased from here was vastly better than other grocers. We tend to shop at discount stores for money reasons and while we will spend more on meat and eggs here it is so worth it. Everything tastes amazing. Also, they sell ice cream and a juice bar! the gentleman making the juices is really friendly. We will definitely keep coming back!

Higher prices but they made up for it with exceptional service and some niche productsRecently they closed several checkout lanes and replaced them with self checkout lanes. I only found one checkout lane open with a cashier and a long line....who wants to self check all their produce and whole goods? Why pay these higher than average prices for less service and convenience?There are only three items that Fresh Thyme sells that I can't get elsewhere. So I will go elsewhere for my main grocery shopping. Someplace that still values service, employees, and customers.

G M: Always fresh! They also carry Zum products here. Saves a LOT of money on the shipping cost for the Zum products. I bought the Patchouli Zum Mist. Aromatherapy room & body mist today.

Olidia O. Tallis: The employees that work by the meat are absolutely the best and the items are fairly priced. However, recently they have installed self checkouts. I don’t have a problem with self check out when I only have a handful of items, however when I went tonight none of the regular registers were open. I had about $200 worth of groceries that I had to scan all by myself. Some of them heave items that I had pick up awkwardly in order for it to scan. I don’t see myself going back after that ridiculous experience and will likely switch my regular grocery purchases to Schnucks.
