United Nations Association of Saint Louis: what do users think?
Amanda Sy: I had an enriching, outstanding experience during my time as a volunteer for the UNA-STL chapter. It gave me the opportunity to not only support the SDGs as well as my local community, but also allowed me to build my own skills in leadership, communication, and advocacy, which are tools I'll always carry with me. Additionally, I enjoyed working with the compassionate, knowledgeable team of the organization and learned a lot from them. I encourage others to become engaged with the UNA-STL for a fulfilling and educational experience!
Fahima Band Ali: I am a second-year student at Webster University majoring in Political Science. In the summer of 2021, I did an internship with the United Nations Association of St. Louis. Through my internship, I have learned so much about the work of the UN, advocacy, and the 17 sustainable goals. And I have met some amazing and encouraging people that today I am grateful to have in my life. The UNA is truly a place to pursue your passion and find support on anything that you are passionate about. Seeing the enormous support of the UNA with me, I truly felt confident about hosting a fundraiser event at Webster University to help Afghan refugees coming to St. Louis where the UNA president, Mr. Carlos Suarez, was one of the speakers at the event. I am also thankful to be awarded the Mary T Hall Honoree award on the 76th birthday of the United Nations. As a student, I truly suggest anyone in the field of policy, law, advocacy, activism, politics, and international relations to get involved with the work of the UN and to support their local chapter. It is an excellent place to network, get motivated, and to create a support system.
Ashley Ray: UNA-STL is a wonderful organization that advocates for positive change on the global and local levels. This organization is a great way to get involved with mission-based work and amplify your voice for positive change in the world. In my experience with UNA-STL, we have advocated to our elected lawmakers to raise awareness for the UN's Sustainable Development Goals as well as issues in our community. The St. Louis chapter is welcoming and comprised of people of all ages and backgrounds; I have very much enjoyed my time as a member and office holder at UNA-STL.
Daniel White: Fantastic organization that does meaningful work!
Eman Fahmy: The chapter gives a real opportunity in the St. Louis area to participate in the UN activities. While I was enrolled in my MBA program, I was volunteering working with the board team in 2017. I had an magnificent with this team; I attend with the board members the UN members Day at the UN headquarters in NY. It was one of the very unique experiences that added to my network and knowledge. It is an experience I will always be proud of. Moreover, the chapter organizes several events for the UN at the area. I encourage all youth and those who are interested to leave a positive impact in the community to get engaged with the UN St. Louis chapter. I really hold to them all the best for more success and influence.
Carlos Suarez: The United Nations Association of Saint Louis is a fantastic organization to get involved with that advocates for strong US leadership at the UN. We are also big proponents of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and how we can achieve them at a local level. The ability for us to participate in discussions and forums at the UN and UN Foundation are a great experience for members to engage with experts on various global issues facing humanity.

Habitat for Humanity Saint Louis and ReStore South Grand: what do users think?
Sara Davis: This place is a treasure trove of stuff. Old entertainment cabinets, furniture, sinks, lights, odds and ends. Some odder than others. Pay pennies on the dollar, which is worth it if you have the time and energy to clean things up.
Paula Ricci: Love to shop and see what they have. Helpful when rehabbing on a budget.
Moisés Romo: Everything is outdated and way overpriced. You can pay the same and have a new, updated look if you bought at menards or online.
William Jackson: A lot of stuff to look through
S “Mahnn” Williams: Always leave out with something
Jim T: Great source for building materials that supports the local community.
Danny Hughes: Wonderful experience 👍
K.R. Vega: Tons of stuff. No, none of it is beautifully wrapped in a bow. You have to hunt somewhat, but that's the fun of the find. Prices are great. If you are looking for a bargain and are willing to get dirty rummaging through stuff...this is your place. I love it.
Naomi Taylor: Prices much higher than before pandemic.
Brandi Michelle Brown: Some really cool stuff!
Punit Omar: Garbage place with all kind of literally garbage things with high price tag. Few things are really priced as if they're new. With 20% on top of their price tag, few things you can get new from local walmart. Very unhygienic, dusty place. If you're a mechanic kind of person or know how to fix the whole world with your screw drivers, may be you look the place, but their prices are indeed unreasonable.
Margot: Amazing staff and you can definitely find some real gems out there!
Curt Balding: Interesting selection of stuff. The materials and items that are available are constantly changing.
Jo Ann Morris: They are good for having items for old houses where the fortunately they didn't have what I need
Sandra Bustamante: I literally just left there not buying anything because a lady working there was charging me 25 dollars for a box of nails when just 2 weeks ago I bought the 3 boxes for a dollar each. She wouldn't even bargain. 25 dollars ?!?!?!,!?! I would not recommend shopping there when she's working.
Robert Monigan: Great deals!!
Al K: People who work here have no manners.
Laurie Koetting: We spent an hour cleaning a cook top to donate. Also had extra parts for it. Brought it to the ReStore on Grand. 2 men were sitting outside when we pulled up. Neither said hello or even helped us to get the items out of our truck. They said it was 'self serve'. No offer to give us a receipt. Not friendly at all. Really disappointing.
S Cooper: The employees are consistently nice and helpful. I have built my "Frankenkitchen" from deals and unique finds from the Restore. I couldn't have done it without you, so Thanks!
Challis Brown: Love this place for buying odds and ends for the house.
