She was doing my bridal makeup trial and my first time ever getting professional makeup done so I was extremely nervous and hoped I'd like it.. well she slayed!! ME: I’m not sure why it was necessary for you to say you missed out because of me.I loved working with this vendor until I encountered some changes and needed flexibility. I initially planned on going to their salon for bridal make up the day of my wedding. Then my hair vendor changed a few months out so I asked if they could come to my site. I found out they refuse makeup at my site because the lighting is bad and that they were no longer offering that option.Understandable. Due to my vendor change for hair services I could not make it to their salon for my original wedding day appointment. I paid for a trial and the day of make up in full. The contract states no refunds so I asked if they could do my bridal makeup for one of my pre-wedding events instead. They were unable to accommodate that, understandable, and I received the message below.“Unfortunately, the services are for the original date booked only. We’ve actually lost out on working with other big bridal parties because we were blocked for your date.”I understand the policy is that services are for the original date booked but I’m not sure why it was necessary for you to say you missed out because of me. I’m sorry for making you lose out by booking. I have lost out as well being I paid for services I did not receive in full.I would recommend giving brides a minimum book amount if you are looking for a way to secure certain profits. I was just trying to book a makeup artist for my wedding day. I never intended to make you miss out on big wedding parties. I hope all works out well for you in the future.3/30 Updated Response: Blush was notified on Feb 20, which would be 7 weeks before the scheduled date, you tried it. After my last review, makeup for my wedding shower/trial was canceled. Then they gave me the run around for a month about when I would receive a refund. I literally had to inform them I would be showing up at the store to get my CASHAPP refund processed. Poor customer service.As I stated above I changed vendors, and never blamed you for that. I blame you for that unprofessional email communication. Some things are better left unsaid. I was excited to work with this business and I felt it necessary to let others know what my experience was in hopes that no one else has to go through this.

Kenyotta Griffin: I've had issues in the past with makeup artist not using the correct shades (I have a darker skin tone) or the product not being blended well. I've used this salon numerous times & never have this problem. They have all the shades & they're experienced so they know what colors will look the best on you. This is the only makeup provider I use & everytime I walk out looking my best! If you're looking for "covergirl" results at a reasonable price this is the place to go. #JaimeDidIt

Natasha Williams: You totally missed the point of my review, LOL. I was very late - there is no disputing that. If the roles were reversed - I WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED EITHER! That's not the issue. As stated - you have clients that are obviously trying to reach you. A simple call back would have sufficed. Even to say, hey - I got your call, you are crazy if you thought we were keeping that appointment! It's common courtesy. But the lack of response made me feel ignored as a paying and repeat client. That's not good business practice! And certainly not a quality I look for in businesses I choose to patronize. Please know that providing excellent service goes beyond just what you do with clients once they are in your chair. How you manage/handle your clients in situations like these - it matters. As I stated earlier, you all do beautiful work. Stay booked and busy!!! I wish you only the best!

Lakeisha Garner: I had the worst luck possible on my 39th birthday I decided to do something I never do and have My make-up done.. treat myself..on the way to the studio I had a tire blow out on the highway omg it was so scary...I get to the shoulder and proceed to coast to the nearest exit..remembering their strict late policy I called a uber to pick me up on the side of the highway to try and make my appointment on time and figured I get my car later...didn't want to lose my money..well the 1st uber driver tried to find me for 20 min but with no exact location and language barrier he canceled my uber. At this time I've told the artist what was going on and my situation and she was unconcerned or unmoved that's fine I understand business..still trying to get there another uber picked up my fair she tried for 15 min before locating me by then I was 35 min late and she canceled my appointment .so I caught the uber home...no reschedule ..no partial refund..no concern or care in the world..just keep your money and that's it..I understand business but life happens and there should be case by case bases..I literally was stuck on the side of the the highway still trynna make a freaking make up appointment..adding insult to injury my car was impounded two hrs later off the highway while I was home trying to find someone to change my tire couldn't get my car back til Monday..I wasn't gonna leave a review until I saw the requests in my email 🙃
